Days Inn by Wyndham Oromocto Conference Centre

The hotel is about 10 min.from the airport. Very clean comfortable, two beds. Really nice and comfortable bedding. There was a Mini fridge and microwave coffee maker and coffee and tea in the room Shower very nice and the shampoo conditioner and soaps were lovley. The complimentary breakfast was a lot more than just continental. Eggs cereal waffles fruit toast bagels cream cheese juice coffee. Very clean and nice dining room to sit and enjoy.

FYI: hot tub is completely cemented in. I wish hotels would disclose this info before spending full price on a room.

Had a room with no hot water and reception gave us another room just to shower as it was too much a hassle to change rooms as it was late. Dogs next door were barking non stop and the stay was awful however Front Desk Manager Robert Case handled the situation with empathy and professionalism and turned our bad experience around. Thank you Mr. Case, we greatly appreciate your help.

It was a Perfect Stay. All staff in all departments were top notch!

Feb 6,2023- Called the front desk for pricing and availability the weekend we were requiring a group booking. She was very kind and said I would have to write an email to Robert (the banquet hall coordinator). No problem! I sent off that email directly following that conversation.

Feb 8,2023 - I had not heard back so I asked my fiancee to follow up with them as it was his day off from work. He called, spoke with a gentleman that he said was extremely rude and made him feel like his phone call was just a bother to him, and then was redirected to Robert. Robert told my fiancee that my email was missing the information he required.alright.then why did he just ghost me and not reply with the additional information he needed? Anyways, told my fiancee what he requires and to send him another email. He did.

Feb 10,2023 - Still no response from the company. I sent them a Facebook message for follow-up. No response from there either.

Feb16 2023- FINALLY HEARD BACK! AND NO AVAILABILITY! Which is fine- but why did it take 1.5 weeks to hear back when there was 0 availability.

We are planning our wedding from Ontario and getting married in Oromocto. Super a huge waste of time when I was hearing back from other hotels in Fredericton 24 hours later. Seriously don't waste your time.

Staff were absolutely amazing. They made me feel welcome and safe. That being said, my room had an issue. Staff reached out to me and I believe it will be dealt with.

Good clean rooms, nothing out of the ordinary. My only issue was the limited seating at breakfast, felt very rushed because of it.

I’m sure this is one of the better hotels in town, but the lady at the front desk was extremely rude and judgemental. We asked if there was a smoking area and she decided to provide her personal opinion on smoking. You are there to do a job, you are not there to provide your opinion to guests unsolicited. If I would rate the hotel a 0 or a negative star I would.

My family's stay at this hotel was incredibly disappointing. The elevator was broken which no one told me upon booking, had I known I would have booked elsewhere. We have 6 month old baby, a dog and driving across Canada from the west. Naturally we have alot of stuff and I had to make multiple trips up and down those stairs.
The next morning when prepping to leave, was again making multiple trips to get our stuff to the car, we started packing the car 30 mins before checkout, it took a little longer then expected. Around 10: 58am I was making second last trip when one of the housekeeping ladies stopped me and asked very rudely if I was done yet. I replied I had one more load then I'm done, she rolled her eyes and kept cleaning another room. When I came back for the last load, about 3 mins past 11, the phone rang to see if we had left, I mentioned I was getting the last load but was told bluntly check out was 11am, I apologized and said just 1 more load to take down. Then as I was coming down the stairs the same housekeeping lady under her breath sighed and said "really more stuff".
Also after taxes the room was $149. Absolutely not worth it. What normally with a trolly takes only 2 loads took over half and hour because of a broken elevator I was not notified of, also the 2 staff encounters were rude.
I will note, the receptionist when we first checked in was very kind and the one of the other housekeeping ladies (middled aged) was also lovely.
Due to the rest of the experience I would not recommend this place or come again. If you need a hotel in New Brunswick, I'd look somewhere else or come when the elevator works again.

Major flaw was elevator's weren't working, so was difficult lugging stuff up stairs.
Other than that was great.

Just stayed here for a wedding on Saturday October 7th/22. All my family stayed here too, including my 78 year old grand mother who has a crooked leg and a lifted shoe. When we got here the elevator was broke and out of service and apparently they only have one elevator. One of my grandparents was on the third floor and we had to bring all their stuff up their. Thankfully my nanny was only on the second floor but it was incredibly hard for her to get up there. They had nobody helping bring up luggage, the staff had to lug up all the towels. It was just awful.

Come to find out, the elevator has been broken for over a year…. This is completely unacceptable and wrong. What about wheelchair accessibility? They at the very least have to let people know the elevator is down when people are booking. What the staff and guest have to go through an atrocity. I will be contacting the correct personal to report this hotel! Not ok

Avoid! We I booked the hotel and I received a email from the hotel stating the the elevator was broken, I said no problem but please book me in the second floor as I'm traveling with my father who is older, which they said no problem.when I got to the hotel, my room was on the top floor and I showed them the email I received stating I was supposed to be on the second floor, they say sorry this is all we had.when I got to the room it was only one bed and not what I had booked. I spoke with the front office and they said sorry and magically another room was available! Went to that room and the sheet had spots all over it and it was all dirt (who know what else) my recommendations is to stay away!

I initially booked this motel directly after looking at their website in April 2022 for a stay from August 4 – 7,2022. We were travelling from Ontario to New Brunswick, driving straight through, 12 hours of driving (we were attending a wedding on the Saturday). I then called motel again directly on August 1 to see if we could book for August 3rd as well and they booked us in. We decided to leave Ontario on August 2 and drove straight through to New Brunswick. I contacted the motel and asked if they could book us for that evening which they did. Upon arriving at 11: 15 pm that evening (New Brunswick time) after a 12 hour drive for us which was 12: 15 a.m. For us we went to check. We were then informed the elevator did not work! I asked if it would be fixed during our stay. They said I doubt that, it’s been broken since January, did no one tell you when you booked? I said no, “I called 3 different times and not once did anyone inform me of this”. I told them my husband had a heart condition and asked if they had anyone carrying up luggage. She said no. I asked if they were giving discounted rates due to this inconvenience. She said no. Had they told me this back in April, I would have booked elsewhere. We were on the 3rd floor and it was terrible carrying all of our luggage and clothes for the wedding up and down the stairs. On top of it, my husband noticed his socks were black from the floor and my feet were black from the floor. We were in the only room on the 3rd floor that did not have carpeting. The floors were filthy. We had been driving all day so our feet were clean! We brought this to their attention as well. Extremely disappointed. We tried to get another motel but they were booked already. Other people were checking in and just being told about the elevator issue as well. They could not do stairs either. Shame on this motel for not advertising this on their website and giving discounted rates.

This hotel is a disgrace to the Wyndham name and Days Inn brand. There is not one excuse under the sun to place people on the 3rd and 4th floor of a hotel with one elevator that is out of service. The elevator had been out of service for 8 months prior and we were not informed at booking. The staff ignored discussions at breakfast about it and the front desk staff made no mention at check in. To top that, only one stairwell for the entire hotel. Major fire trap in case of any emergency. I would like a corporate investigation done into the management of this hotel. Shame on you! The OWNERS and POOR MANAGEMENT of this hotel.

A very clean hotel! I had a very spacious room and it was a lovely experience. The gentleman who checked me in was very straight forward and polite. He told me everything I needed to know and gave me advice about the key card, not to put it in the same pocket as my phone. Overall, great experience, even if their elevator isn't working, this place is great.

The old guy in the front is super friendly and accomodating however they made us wait 3 hours for our room because there's only 2 cleaners in the house. On top of our tiring day, the elevator wasn't working so we have to carry our luggages all the way to the top.

Rickety & Squeakety old floors. The rooms are somewhat below average, old rooms but if you just needed a place to stay for the night then it works. The big bummer was their elevator is broken. Families with children and old people are not suited to stay at this hotel.

Don’t bother taking a shower in the morning, you won’t get hot water. The hallways smelt mouldy. Breakfast offered in the morning is terrible. Get what you pay for?

When I went in it looked very clean and even though I was not able to get a room because they was fully booked the guy that was waiting on me was very helpful and called a different place to get me a room and even gave me directions to it. And he called to make sure they had a room available for me. He went out of his way to help us out great service

Very clean, spacious rooms with all the needed amenities. Breakfast was the typical toast, yogurt, cereal etc. There is a great Chinese restaurant in the hotel as well.

It's a solid hotel with no major complaints, price was good, free breakfast during stay, pool, weight room. Pretty solid all around

Staff is super friendly and welcoming, elevator was broken the entire week making travelling to the third floor difficult with three young kids. Breakfast was good. Kids enjoyed the pool

Stayed there 18 days during the early COVID days. Although room service was not available, pool and gym were closed and continental breakfast was only nuts and coffee, I really enjoyed my stay.

For one, the staff went above and beyond in making sure that I had everything I needed. I was offered to change into a clean room multiple times, was given a ton of coffee pods and was assisted when I had groceries delivered to my room.

The hotel was amazingly clean and although I was in the cheapest possible room, it was roomy and well equipped.

Coming from another province, with no idea if I would be able to move into an apartment or a house due to COVID, it was nice to have friendly employees who always greeted me and always took a little time out of their day to ask me how I was doing.

Good value for money there. Spacious rooms, great beds, rich breakfast.
Closest hotel to YFC. I stayed the just one night after flying in late.

No functioning elevator for the duration (5 days) of our stay. No prior notice of water shut-off in a.m. Of checkout day. Rooms are very dated, but clean. Requested partial refund based on inconveniences during stay; only refunded 10% of total of first night of stay - totally unacceptable! Have been staying at this hotel for the past 6 years, and expected a much better situation and environment. Very disappointing️

I've never had a problem staying here. Good rates, rooms are well kept, parking is always available and lo action has excellent chinese food. Great service.

Would of liked to know about elevator being down before booking, or a phone call to inform. Was very disappointed when handicapped person was having to go to second floor, I know this cause I carried a wheelchair up for the couple.
Room had multiple red stains in carpet.

Really giving a lower ranking cause of the handicapped person not being looked after, even I had a baby carrier to the third floor.

Driving from Ontario in a horrible snow storm. This hotel was one of the most comfortable spots I'd say was great. Excellent staff

The staff at the front desk are SO NICE. I had to stay overnight because my bike broke down and it was too dark for me to walk back to Fredericton. The lady at the desk let one of the night staff know, and he fixed up my bike for me overnight! I really appreciated that because I was just going to walk back home. The restaurant was nice too, and there's a sweet pool.
This was Oct 15 at night that I stayed btw.
Whoever was working at that time should get a raise ;)

Great hotel they upgraded us from two rooms into a suite with no problem it was even their suggestion. Breakfast was great. Staff were amazing!

L'accueil est très bonne le personnel est très sympa et accueillant, la chambre propre avec un petit frigo une cafetière les lits sont confortables et très propre, la piscine aussi et bien propre et la température de l'eau et très agréable, pour le petit déjeuner vous allez trouvé quelque chose qui va vous plaire, des céréales des bananes, des oeufs et fromage croissant les toasts café jus. Faut juste montrer votre passeport sanitaire avant de rentrer au restaurant.
Pour le Négatif.
Une forte odeur dans la chambres pour la 1re journée j'ai laissé la fenêtre ouverte, et j'ai acheté febreze chose qui a marché, plus d'odeur la 2e journée, pour le petit-déjeuner emporterla nourriture dans les chambre, chose qui n'est pas facile avec deux adultes et deux enfants dans la même piece, mais je comprends que c'est lié avec le manque de personnel et la situation de covid.
Généralement c'était un bon séjour les personnels c'est le points fort de cet hôtel, qui a besoin quand même d'un peu d'amour

I haven't finished my stay yet but it's been good so far, the woman cleaning is very kind and we had a conversation about being in a military family, all the staff are kind, the breakfast is okay and the syrup there isn't maple, and tastes pretty bad, the room has cracked paint and worn out objects but it's still very clean, and the pool is pretty big, cold though. Overall good but nothing I would praise.

Paid for a suite and got a broken microwave that smoked, and a broken pull out couch. When mentioned to staff he just nodded like what?

Hotel is OK, nothing fancy but does the job. A little on the expensive side for what your getting but the beds are comfortable and the complementary breakfast is on point.

My dad stay here for 2 nights, he is starting to get dementia and got lost on his way driving thought New Brunswick to Alberta. The police brought my dad to this place to stay until I came and got him. I wasn’t able to fly New Brunswick because of the pandemic so I flew into Quebec to drive to the New Brunswick boarder and have someone bring him to me. Nikita at the front desk was awesome and so helpful for my father bringing him lunch and showing him how to use the coffee machine just so helpful and caring also the other lady that was there I spoke too as well was awesome but I never got her name everybody that I dealt with here was just good people and if I go to New Brunswick and I will be making a stop through here every time.

I booked a double queen beds room, called me in the morning and offered me an upgrade, and when I got there, just gave me a single queen bed room, what a cheat! And the house is particularly noisy, corridor constantly walking and loud noise, do not chose there, if you want to have a good rest.

The junior king suite with Jacuzzi was good but outdated with very loose floating floor. Bed was comfy and lots of pillows. The room was a great price to experience ratio at about $140. When booking it was advertised as having a hot tub and photos could easily be found showing it. Given my recent hip surgery this was a criteria of search for me. The tub had been removed months ago when we got there. The breakfast included was way below the standard I have come to expect across North America as a bottom line threshold of continental breakfast, see pics. The manager acknowledged the situation but could do little to rectify the situation. I still have to talk to Expedia through who this was booked. I was offered a comp night by the hotel which I couldn't use. The staff was understanding and trying to be helpful.

Not a bad hotel. Getting a bit dated but beds were comfy, and everything was spotlessly clean. Everything you need in the room - microwave, fridge, coffee, etc. Clean washroom and good water pressure. Some highway noise if you’re at the back. A/C worked great with no noisy rattling fans. Would recommend for a quick stay in the area.

We stayed here for a week after our apartment building caught fire. We and our three cats were well looked after. Nikita at front desk was more than helpful throughout the day and Dave was fantastic at night! Wish we coulda stayed here forever! Thank you so much Days Inn!

Had a room next to an elevator and didn't even hear noises! Room was clean, huge tub and staff was friendly!

Everything was clean, good size rooms. Did not have bottles of water available or for sale (or any beverages at all). The store was 6 min drive away. Found this out after driving 12 hours only to find out you have to get back in your car after settling in your room. Rant over.

This is our second stay there. The staff are friendly and helpful. Some things have changed due to COVID-19 but still a great stay. We will be back

Very clean rooms. Great double bed. Nice and guiet room all through the night. Great shower and lots of towels in the morning.

Quality for your money, pool is fun to swim into the chinese restaurant is delicious and any one can go eat there. The beds are very comfortable. We had a great scenery. Staff are accommodating, knowledgable.

Stayed for two nights with my 5 year old hockey player and a few other families, hotel staff were all very nice, got a room with laminate flooring the furniture was a little dated and chipped up etc but room was VERY clean! Beds were very comfortable! Surpassed my expectations for a hotel under 100$

That was a nice surprise. It was going to be a 3 star rating but we scored a huge, dog friendly room with a whirlpool tub and fireplace. (Room 315)
-Staff tried to charge me $15 for the dog fee even though it is quoted as $10 per pet.
- BYOHydroflask! Bottled water is not provided, and the tap water is very chlorinated.
-The pool was on the cool side, but was clean and well kept.
- Never tried the breakfast.

We were told there would be breakfast available in the restaurant. I was expecting to sit and order off the menu, so the continental breakfast was a disappointment. Decent if you know to expect it though.
Kids running in the hall in the evening, but overall it was a decent stay.

Not your typical 5 star hotel. Well maintained but a tiny bit of wear & tear in the rooms were visible, however the staff who attended to us were pretty much 5 star in my opinion. I recommend it.

Room was spacious and clean. Television was placed that it provided a great view to all in the room.

Staff was polite and courteous. The bed was incredibly comfortable though the walls were a bit thin. The breakfast was simple but fulfilling.

Rooms are fairly big, serves daily continental breakfast from 06: 30 to 10: 00 using "real" cutlery and plates not the plastic ones nor paper plates. Easy location just off highway 2.

Stayed here in the past and it was great. This visit I got very little sleep due to barking dogs in the hotel and people above us that were stomping around all night, very annoying.

Clean rooms, hallways and elevators. Continental breakfast was really good with lots to choose from and the staff is quick to keep it clean. Make your own waffles for breakfast is a nice treat. We stayed in the king suite room which was a really good rate. It was also situated next door to the ice machine and a pop vending machine which accepts card and keeps the drinks quite cold too. The pool is fun for the kids but its small and not realistic for adults. There is also a Chinese restaurant attached which has pretty good food. I'd recommend this place if you're in the area.

We stayed recently for a few days.

The hotel staff was very warm and welcoming at all times.

When I needed anything again always found what I needed and given with a smile.

Hotel was very clean well kept. Breakfast had enough variety that you can find something to enjoy. It may not have bacon ham or sauges but it has everthing else and fresh fruits.

Beds were heaven and plenty of pillows.

If you want a cost efficient hotel that good try them out as I certainly enjoyed my stay and my husband.

Had a great stay here last week for one night. Staff was excellent and check-in a snap. The room was perfect being very clean, spacious and modern. This hotel is also conveniently just off the TCH while still being close most businesses in Oromocto.

For a place that claims to be pet friendly it is very far from it. The hotel allows children to run up and down the hallways screaming and does absolutely nothing, worst hotel experience ever. Do not stay here if you are traveling with pets. To top it off as well the power went out for about 6 hours with absolutely no explanation, the only response being well it will be back on by 10pm.

Friendly staff, very nice room & shower! We have stayed at some awful days inn so this was a pleasant surprise! Continental breakfast was amazing as well! Plenty of options! Beautiful pool!
