Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Moncton

BEWARE
I had made and cancelled a booking with the Days Inn & Suites (days before the booking date was for) and came home after the weekend to notice that they charged me DOUBLE what the booking rate was. (Rate booked was $190 after taxes and I was charged $298.58)
When contacted, they said it was an error on their end and it would be refunded.
Today, I log into my account to see the refund of the amount they charged me AND then a new charge for another miscellaneous amount!
Be careful when booking with these guys. I have no idea how they have my card information and are allowed to just keep charging it and hoping I don't see? !
They said this was a one-time error, yet they literally just charged my card a total of $485 over the past 3 days without me ever having stayed there!

This hotel is filthy! The toilet seat in our room had built up grime, doors and nobs in the room were covered in grease and dirt. You could see dirty old hand prints on the wall, the room just smelled awful.
The main lobby you could see cob webs hanging from the light fixtures and the staff members were not friendly in the least.
Don’t waste your, it’s not worth the risk of potentially bringing something home with you.

We are a family of 5 on a budget who stayed at this hotel for 4 nights.
Pros: Room, Beds, washrooms were clean. (NO bed bugs was a huge relief) staff was friendly. From front desk, cleaning service and especially the breakfast staff. Shout out to Patricia thank you for your warm hospitality, friendly smile and delicious Omelettes. Their complimentary breakfast was surprisingly very delicious! Again Staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. 10/10
Cons:
The hotel itself and the rooms are very outdated. Unfortunately our key needed to be reset a few times, nothing to be upset about however a slight inconvenience to walk back and forth to reception.
The pool even though my kids still had a blast in this pool, I was really grossed out to get into it after I noticed the grime on the sides of the walls, the pool itself was not clear or clean. (Little disappointing since I didn’t get to swim with my kids) but grime wasn’t stopping them from all the fun.

Overall for the price, last minute accommodations and cleanliness (this trip being a budget friendly one) we had a great time! If we are ever back in Moncton we will definitely re consider this hotel! (Please just clean the pool walls!)

We had 3 rooms they were clean but the door to the bedroom was broken in one of them and the toilet was acting up in another. We told the front desk about the toilet as we checked out and he said he would have someone fix it.

There was a man at front desk who was very rude when we checked in who wouldn't listen to us when we explained we had already paid online and he got us to pay again before having to refund us after we showed him both the online receipt and the amount removed from our bank account. He also was very impatient and grabbed the debit machine before I could take my debit card out of it. Very unfriendly and not even an apology for the payment misunderstanding.

Pool was nice and a good temperature but the hot tub was out of order unfortunately.

Well its the smallest bathroom i ever saw for 3 hotel / wifi bad / bed firm / fridge coffee maker & microwave in the room / spa & pool Nice / excellent home made omelette & 5mins walk from the casino made some cash at the slots machine put $100 and made $300 so not bad at all Going back there this week end for sure!

If your wondering why the site doesn’t have any photos of the childrens bunk bed room is because it honestly looks like a dungeon. I regret bringing my kids here for Easter weekend. It’s the most nastiest thing in my life. I’ve paid $333 for the night and it’s the worse place I’ve ever spent my money at. Don’t waste your time on this place, it caught my eye because it said bunk beds and I thought it was gonna be a cute space theme. Instead it looks like a prison cell with space paint everywhere. 10/10 do not recommend this place. Isn’t worth it. The tv doesn’t have any children shows. I don’t even wanna be here right now. It’s 1am I am writing a review instead of sleeping because that’s how disappointed I am. Not to mention they didn’t tell us about the $100 deposit and we got the family zoo adventure pack and it’s raining tomorrow. Idk what id do if they don’t refund me that part or let me use it for a different day. I just never felt so disappointed for my boys, We would’ve had so much more fun somewhere else don’t waste your time on this place. Not now, not ever. (Ohyeah and the kids space room is separated from your room and it’s honestly just a bunk bed in a hall way with a door. Don’t do it. It isn’t worth it. My kids are sleeping with us tonight and not sleeping in that room.

During our stay, my son (3) got sick. We needed new sheets and blankets at bedtime, we’ve now waited 3 hours and made the request twice by phone and twice in person at the front desk.
Beyond this, the room is a great setup but wasn’t clean. I will never stay here again, the service was unacceptable.

Worst hotel experience booked a themed room for the family 2 adults and 4 kids and the front desk tried to give us a normal suite with no where enough room for everyone then argues with me on what I booked waste of time completely now to find somewhere else last minute to fit everyone after waiting over a hour to check in and the people behind us had the same problem with being given the wrong room type

The wait to check in was long
The staff were not friendly
The gym was disgusting half the equipment was broken
The bed was squeaky
Very unorganized business practices

Rooms: Since its a new/different bed your not used to it so it comes out as uncomfortable
Service: I personally didnt get any service but thats because i never asked for any exept for that i think it should've been good
Location: Not so far from all the shops and restaurant and right next to a casino
so in total it was pretty good the vending machines are a very affordable price and have many options, the pool can go up to 8ft deep almost drowned

Because there a guy called Tom he was very rude and disrespectful he made us cancel a 2000 dollar reservation because of his attitude

The guy behind the counter straight up ignored me after I said I didn't have a check in. I asked for a price and he took out a peice of paper and started tallying up how much bottles of alcohol he had in the fridge. I can't believe how disresptful it was.

Very friendly staff. Very good hot breakfast. Hotel was Very dirty though and clearly lacking housekeeping. Found old under wear in our room and building was very dated.

First off it was over priced for the quality of the room.
The TV was older than the hills next the sink was tearing from wall by about 2 inches. The hot tub was out of order wich was the reason I wanted to stay there. And the carpets need to be steam cleaned like no tomorrow also the vents in the wall had an inch of dust I could go on and on but you get the point. Alot of money for a place that needs some much needed love all I wanted to do was clean the place the whole time we were there I have a recommendation put some money I to this place.

It is a fair hotel. If you can find something similar around for the price, definitely try the other one.

Room was large and clean. Parking lot resembles something you would encounter at an abandoned motel. Outside access door was broken and unlocked and they said it couldn’t be fixed - not very safe. Hot Breakfast was delicious. Staff were friendly.

A couple of the staff were exceptionally nice. But definitely not all of them. Didn't enjoy my stay for that reason, won't be staying again.
When my phone died and I lost my proof of vaccination, I wasn't allowed in the room for breakfast, which I understood. So to come to a compromise, I asked if I could stand in the lobby and have some of the breakfast brought to me so I could take it to my room. The answer was a definite no. I wasn't allowed to eat the pancakes or anything that those with proof of vaccination were. They handed me a brown bag with an orange, a yogurt and some apple juice in it and that was my breakfast. Thanks a lot!

The employee told us it didn’t matter if we were vaccinated or not, we had to wear our mask throughout the lobby, when it was breakfast time, we were DENIED a hot breakfast, but paid for a room that was guaranteed breakfast from 7 till 10, but because we weren’t vaccinated we got treated like dogs with a brown paper bag, that had a hard orange, granola bar, a juice (not orange or apple either), yogurt, so why she we pay full price…. It is a bylaw that is in place, it is not the law that has not passed in a court.
Staff was very rude, and when I called the manager on Monday, he was just as rude & ignorant, they will never get my business or my families ever, the pool wasn’t working and that is what we asked when we called, but was lied to and said it was. Not once was I told about a $100 deposit for damage, but that was on my MasterCard and apparently was going to be put back on in 5 days, but if I paid by cash they said it would have been $200 and would have been handed back when checking out.
I think they are the biggest rip off, they have no clue what they are doing.
Very unprofessional

I stay at the Days Inn & Suites in Moncton frequently. I love that they have rooms with themes (ex Lego). I love that theres a pool + Gym but I also like the atmosphere. For the most part the staff is great, but ive had a couple of encounters that left me sour. None the less strongly recommend!

Good night sleep, rooms adequate for price bed was comfortable, microwave, coffee maker and fridge worked fine.
Overall I had a happy stay.

We stayed here for 2 nights 2 adults and 3 kids. We were not aloud to check into our room until after 5pm. Would only give us 2 sets of towels for 5 people for 2 days: (wasn't aloud pool towels. Our bathroom door knob broke at 1030 the 1st night and they said someone be there by 6 am I went down at 620 because no one showed up I got told half hour 45 mins another hour and a half went by said they just came in wasn't until my husband went down stairs then they finally called someone to come let us in the bathroom. Wad over 11 hours. Made a call and the Manger was to get back to us still havnt hurd and I've called 3 times and still no answer back no discount nothing. Will never be stayed here again

Omg crazy thing i heard now I cant get room for 6 months because I work at the days inn and quit. Wow u guys loss a alot business from me

Check-in took hours, the line went outside the building.after waiting 3hours the bathtub looked like it hadn't been washed, the bed looked liked someone just got out of it the carpet was stain, no bottle water in the rooms, the pool was so foggy and had bugs on it I wouldn't of put my big toe in it.we slept with our cloths on.

Friendly staff, reasonable price. Would have been 5 stars but the lack of towels and the very loud air conditioner need some tending to. Over all I would stay here again

45 mins to an hr to register to get our key. The staff I found very ignorant and weren't very helpful. Always out of things like towels etc. Pool was filthy dirty with bugs and hair. The food for breakfast was cold and the cooks weren't very friendly either. It was a horrible stay. Never go back

Nice enough, staff didn't clean the room or make the bed during my stay. Emergency phone is the pool doesn't work. Overall it's a good budget friendly place to catch some zzz's

Was very dirty and distasteful, we had phone to head from another province because we have a small dog, when we arrived they told us we had to keep it in a crate when we were in the pool or one of us could go swimming at a time. Don't go there you will be terribly disappointed we were.

Stayed over the weekend, so it was very busy. The room we stayed it was clean and comfortable, the AC was already cranked as we first entered our room which was fantastic and it was super warm outside. Staff were friendly and super helpful, especially when one of my children locked his brother items in the safe. Maintenance came down right away to help unlock it. Even let the children "help" him fix the issue which was very thoughtful. Breakfast Saturday morning was quite the wait, about 35 mins, no fault on the kitchen staff. They did an amazing job. Very friendly and accommodating but I feel as if the hotel should bring in more staff to assist with the larger number of guests. Overall a great family atmosphere.

When we arrived we were given no towels, no face clothes, no hand towels. When we asked for some we received 3 pool towels. When we asked again for more and they were very rude and seemed annoyed we were asking yet again, the pull out couch sheet was stained with what looked like spaghetti sauce, and hair, my duvet was stained with what looked like mascara, but we didn't dare complain because they were already so rude with us. The hottub was filthy with dirt floating on top of the bubbles and all around the rim. Worst experience here or at any hotel I've been at. Very disappointed.

Chambre correct, mais senteur de cannabis dans certains corridors. Espaces de la piscine intérieure insalubre lors de notre passage (vêtements oubliés, serviettes usagers traînant partout sur les planchers et les salles de bain, trous dans les murs). Le café Folgers ne plaît pas à tous et donne une image de bas de gamme à saveur de café instantanée, heureusement Tim Horton n'est pas trop loin. Je vous recommande un autre hôtel surtout si vous avez des enfants. Le personnel était par contre accueillant et serviable.

Really good service. Customer service made a mistake and was happy to help right away. Stay was comfy. Breakfeast was good and hot not something you see much anymore. Plus pet friendly

This would be the one time you don't get what you pay for. Paid nearly 150.00 for lego theme room to find out its incomplete and still had decor from previous theme which was sea/Beach.

Tom was amazing. From the moment we called for a room till we checked out two days later he was wonderful. Very helpful, friendly and his stories were entertaining.
All staff were finally and helpful so in terms of the competition my vote goes to Tom but everyone was great!

The rooms was great, clean and very comfortable. Front desk saff was very polite and quick to help us. The pool this time was unbelievably cold. My 11 and 5 yr old couldn't swim for any more then half hour before their lips turned a bluish purple and I had to make them get out. 3 times I told the front desk about how cold the water was, 3 times they told maintenance an 3 tumes nothing was done. The last time I tool my kids to swim the water was colder then before. I've stayed here lots of times an usually the water in the pool is warm. Not this time an no one seemed to really care. Time to start looking for another hotel with a pool to take my kids to. Really disappointed about the pool this trip

The food here is above and beyond what you'd expect from a hotel this size. Absolutely delicious and plan to come back just to eat after the lockdown!

NOT a pleasant stay. BUYER BEWARE.toilet hadn't been cleaned up under the rim, causing black.mold? Wasn't in one spot, it was everywhere inside the bowl.previous facial hair clippings around the sink, shower had hair on the wall.all indications of poor hygiene, or cleaning skills rather. Would never, WILL NEVER, stay again.

We used this hotel to visit Fundy National Park and Hopewell Rocks. The hotel was a bit farther on the NW side than we were thinking but not to bad. The pool and the fitness center were great with a hot tub included. The breakfast was good for a hotel buffet. The halls were a bit stinky but the rooms were ok.

First time staying and will be back again! Close to the casino and not far from the city centre. Excellent staff.

We have been coming to this hotel for the past 5 year every July for the alantic nationals and every year its getting worse and worse last year it was not being able to check in till 5 and then coming to a room that wasn't cleaned and this year coming to check in and our reservations was wrong when I had just called to confirm it 2 days prior, and not only as the room wrong but so was the prince

Overall, not too bad. It’s a tad dated. We rented a 2 room suite (living area and bedroom with 2 queens) since we have 2 small kids. The door that separates the 2 rooms are 2 sliding panels (like closet doors) that don’t close flat together. There is a gap between them and the doors are in rough shape. Both very very loose and wobbly. They do not keep the sound out.

The pool was alright. The hot tub didn’t work and wasn’t hot. In the gym, the 2 treadmills and the bike did not work. There are some dumbbells but only go up to 50lbs. The washroom in the pool area had dried urine all over the seat and appeared to have been there for days.so I had to clean it. I take it the cleaning staff forgot about the pool area‍️.

It's a good place to spend the night. Clean and well appointed.
Downside is price, $200. /night for a room at the Days Inn.

This is our 5 th bday party in the hockey room suit. 14 boys in the pool having fun and 5 boys slept in the room and breakfast the next morning and more pool fun. What a great party again, for my 11 year old. Thanx days inn!

Canceled my booking without notice. I had booked a room for three nights, my credit card was valid at the time, a new one arrived a month later as my current one was about to expire. They said they tried to preauth the room but card was declined, didn't even bother to call me to confirm the card, just canceled the reservation. Only found out when I arrived ready to check in.

Only to be greeted by rude staff saying it wasn't their responsibility to attempt to contact me telling me there was an issue with my card. Said it was a first come first serve basis and ended up giving my room away to someone else. And if I wanted to speak with the manager I had to wait until Monday to do so. I will never book at this location again.

Friendly, and clean. Beds were comfortable. Sound from next room were noticeable. Breakfast was substantial. Omlette maker was a little cranky. Over all good value for the price.

Stayed in the king suite. Bed was comfortable, the suite was clean and spacious enough for 2 kids, 2 small breeds, my wife and myself. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The pool was clean and breakfast had all the essential's. Cost was fantastic. No complaints.

Pretty comfortable stay at this hotel. Beds were comfortable and breakfast exceeded expectations. Pool was dated and often very busy with lots of kids, probably due to it being the Canada day long weekend. At one point both our room keys stopped working and we needed to request new ones, no big deal. Overall pretty good considering it was only about $110 CAD a night.

Our room and the hotel in general was relatively clean, so I have no complaints in that department. The pool, on the other hand, was disgusting. It was beyond grimey, and looked like it hadn't been properly cleaned in months. The water in the hot tub was literally green. Unfortunately, the pool was the main reason we booked the hotel, and we didn't even want to use it, or especially the hot tub after the first day. If you're looking for a reasonably priced place to stay in Moncton, it's not a bad deal and it's in a good location, but the cleanliness of the pool and hot tub really takes my review down.

We booked a family suite not knowing there would be youth sport teams staying in the same hallway as us and our two small children.they were in the hallways yelling and slamming doors for most of the two nights we were there.called the front desk and they said they would resolve the issue but they didn’t. Otherwise the room was ok, good for families with kids (bunk beds theme rooms) but fair warning, make sure you ask if there are any tournaments going on during your stay cause rest assured they will house the entire team in the same hall as the family suites.

Très bien, par contre le Nouveau-Brunswick s'affiche comme étant la seule province bilingue au Canada, mais ce n'est pas le cas en ce qui concerne le personnel de cet établissement. Un peu dommage dans un domaine touristique. Very good, New Brunswick is the only bilingual province in Canada, but this is not the case with the staff of this hotel. A bit of a shame in a tourist area.

Saw employee of the year brady and still no sight of the worst manager of the year tom as my last visit he charged me a night that i did not stay for and told my gf we did not check out which i did with second employee of the year lexi at 11: 00am

Stayed here for a volleyball tournament for one of my kids. Was charged twice for my room. Now I am out $233 with no guarantee of getting my money back. Was planning on doing somethings in and around Moncton with my three kids. Our trip was ruined. I would never stay here again. Would not recommend staying here. If you do end up staying here make sure you keep an eye on your account.
