Deer Island Point Campground

Nice, small close knit campground. Has electricy and Dump station. Water hook up is an ongoing iffy situation. Campers here do follow the rules.
Spectacular views all around the Point.

Wonderful campground! Employees are nice and helpfull of all the things to do surrounding the area.

This campground has real potential but unfortunately it’s poorly run. Right off the bat no debit and you better bring your own water cause you can’t drink the water. No washrooms all weekend they explained there was a water problem but they obviously don’t care because it was never fixed. If you’re tenting you better have a small tent because the sites have maybe 2 square feet of level ground. The campground has great views but the problems don’t out way this please avoid!

Went over with a group to have a picnic. We couldn't use the washrooms because we weren't campers. Not very friendly.

The most disgusting outhouses ever experienced, making a portopotty used by construction workers seem palatial! Have they ever been cleaned? An absolute disgrace. Have you been reported to health department. If not I will be happy to do you that service!

Just visited to look for the whirlpool. It was towards the end of the season so things looked a bit tired though it was still open.
