The prices have gone crazy - $18 for a two piece fish and chips and a pop ($3.25 plus tax for a fountain pop). Compared to the recent past, the pieces of fish are tiny and, overall, the food quality was terrible. Everything was overcooked and the fries looked and tasted like the oil needed to be changed. Won't be back

Service is adequate, food an portions are decent. Decor is rundown especially washrooms an needs to be updated. Other than that it is a decent place to go.

Deluxe has been in New Brunswick for decades, with most locations in the Moncton area. This is Fredericton's only Deluxe restaurant.

They use fresh-cut fries, and haddock for their fish and chips. They also have chicken strips, other seafood, burgers, etc. Deluxe has a system of ordering that looks chaotic sometimes, but the orders are always right and efficient.

I have been a fan of Deluxe since my first visit to the St. George St.location in Moncton in 1975. The service is fast, the food hot, and there are condiments choices like tartar sauce, vinegar, ketchup, etc.

A two-piece fish and chips would likely satisfy almost any appetite, served on a paper-based cardboard plate with plastic utensils. The food is double- and triple-bagged as necessary for transport.

Prices have gone up in recent years, but I think they still track evenly with the rest of the marketplace.

Not clean. Very sad to eat here. I eaten fish and chips across Canada. Thus was one of worse.

Our first time at Deluxe. We went there because my wife loves fried clams. I had English pub style fish and chips. Clams we under cooked and tartare sauce out of a plastic sleeve. A fish place needs good fresh tartare sauce IMHO. Fries we all tiny runt sized - why no longer fries in an order? Wife had a side of gravy with her fries. Not good, WAY too thick. Fish was pretty good, batter was heavy, almost doughy. The quest for good fried clams in Fredericton continues, Deluxe is not the spot.

My family and I enjoy going here. We have a tradition for Good Friday. Go to church the hit Deluxe for the fish and chips.

As always, food was delicious. Staff was efficient and friendly. Speed to completion of our order was very good.

I have been going here for years. They have the best cheeseburgers. Very underrated food. It's always consistent. Miss the old coleslaw though.

I have always liked Deluxe, but that changed on Christmas Eve 2022.
After spending close to $40 for 2-2 piece fish and chips with gravy and coleslaw, the only good thing about the meal was the gravy and coleslaw.
The fries were small and hard. And the FISH.well it looked good, but on the inside, very small piece of fish and the batter wasn't fully cooked.
Very disappointed. Will be looking for a better place for fish and chips in the near future.

Fries are good but hamburger patty is small and thin…TINY! Where’s the beef? ! Cheese burger platter is Not worth it.

Had the Clam platter, not sure how it could have been better, the fries were fresh and crispy and the clam batter was top notch and a good portion.maybe a little pricey and the cashier could have smiled at least once but hey her tears gave my clams a hint of saltiness that elevated the whole experience. $51 bucks for clam platter and hot turkey Sammie and fries w/2 sodas, just lost a star

Been going here for a long time and their clubhouse and hot sandwich combos with gravy are the best!

Update: Was disappointed with a meal I got and took it back only to explain how to better the service but, the manager as always went above and beyond to help.

Everyone at this location is always the best.

The staff were a little over zealous with cleaning and taking away our try and food dishes. I think they were way over staffed
