Had a wonderful server, the meal didn't take long however tye won ton soup broth was just barely warm. The rest was great.

Restaurant was in walking distance from where we were staying for the night (Delta, Fredericton). They offer AYCE or
à la carte menu. We opted for the
à la carte menu and chose the 2 can dine. Be prepared for all the food because it was a lot and it tasted good. There was still room for dessert, and we got an oreo cheesecake.

Dear lord, that was the worst meal I’ve had in a long time. The only saving grace was a decent waiter.

The hot and sour soup was celery and carrots in some sort of gummy soy sauce. It wasn’t sour and they used some sort of honey ham.

They must have had a run on celery because that’s all that was in the kung pao chicken.

Just a dreadful meal.

A great family spot in the heart of Fredericton! Portions are amazing, got the dinner for 2 and split it between 3 people with leftovers to take home!

Had a hankering for cheesecake, and my son suggested this place. What I thought was a Chocolate Brownie Cheesecake was a Peanut Butter Brownie Cheesecake. And just like that, my life is complete!

We were there for Friday night dinner after work. I have noticed that the prices have gone up a bit but the quality is still on the high side.
It is a busy one. I would suggest to make a reservation before hand.
There is Buffet option as well if you like.

Nice menu with many choices in spite of the buffet is only offered on the weekend. The waitress was very experienced and friendly.

You don't have to be a Diplomat to enjoy the Diplomat Restaurant (although only Diplomats are allowed to wear the complimentary Diplomat crown).

Great service. There is a wide variety of choices on the menu - the whole family is sure to find something they like. The food is good and the prices are reasonable.

Worst buffet ever!

Passed through here in 2016 and was the best we ever had. Finally, after the pandemic, we were able to come here again tonight, on our way to PEI. NEVER AGAIN.

This was the worst buffet we have had to date. Egg rolls tasted like box, Cantonese chicken tasted of raw flour and the Singapore noodles tasted like Lipton Chicken Noodles and Sauce; and those were the highlights.

Much fewer items and the cost, essentially $32 per person, is no where near what it should be.

Don't bother coming here.

My first time eating here. We were visiting Fredericton from out of town. Everything was 100%! Very highly recommended!

I wasn't hungry enough to warrant a full buffet, so I opted for a combination plate. The Chinese food was okay, not the best I have ever had, but good. I didn't really like the ribs, so I wouldn't order them again. Nice selection of white wine, but not a great red wine list. Service was fantastic and our server was really friendly and helpful.

We just ordered takeout. We were told it was leaving the kitchen in 15 mins to be delivered. I called an hour later to check on the status and the lady said it was sitting there ready, just waiting on the driver. We received our order 1 hour later and it was obviously sitting there for 2 hrs. I called back and the 'lady' did not offer a solution so I told her the review would be unpleasant and her words were "I don't care about the review" and proceeded to talk over me. I will never eat there again.

An absolute must to go eat at. Very friendly people, amazing tasting and presentful food, and good atmosphere.

We went on July 1st 2023. We had the buffet, and liquor. Spent over 145.00 food was great. Atmosphere was awesome good window seat but the parking lot. It was supper time so we waited for buffet 40 minutes. Our waitress was the worst. No hello or anything when we first sat down she just said we got no fountain drinks snarky. Ok anything by bottle no. Liquor it is. Lol. During our meal I had to ask for more ice for my water I was drinking. She came towards the end with it. During our meal she was with others. Very snippy with people i noticed especially after they order or if they needed something extra. I family of 4 came in. Mom dad boy around 3 and smaller boy 1.5 one had been crying and they were ordering food. Dad was getting the buffet. He took the boy with him. Once he came back something transpired with the same waitress and they up and left without eating. Boy was she not impressed to clean off that table and put new stuff out. Then she seated others. Back to us. We were finished and she seemed to have a nice streak in her. How was the meal? What we were gonna do for evening? If we were gonna have nice weather for fireworks. Then I paid her by debit. Tipped her and everything even though she didnt deserve it.asked me if I wanted my slip I replied yes and she threw it on the table like a sulky child. Personally switch just like that. I then realised we had had her before. I so wanted to go up and ask for my tip back with management but we had been there long enough. Canada yeah it was busy but come on.put a smile on and act like you want to be there or get a new job. Diplomat always busy. Next time I will call you out on your crabby behavior.

10/10 experience! The food was AMAZING, and huge huge portions! The staff were all amazing as well, fast and genuinely happy to serve all guests!

Always fresh food and quick service. Buffet is so worth the money woth the crab legs and shrimp!

I love the buffet for the all you can eat crab legs. My only complaint is that the butter is not hot. I would suggest a pot candle at the table that would fit the ceramic butter dish to keep butter hot while enjoying the crab legs.

Decent price for what is offered. The food quality has gone down a little since I first went there 3 years ago but may be due to staffing shortage and less patronage.

Staff could come by more often to clear away things and refill your drinks.

Ordered food for delivery. We ordered a dinner for 2 with some extras. Once the food arrived, we noticed that the ribs were burnt black on one side. The rice tasted and smelt burnt. The pasta was burnt to the point that some of it was black, and we couldn't eat it. When we called, the simple answer was we can give you 20.00 off our next order. We spent over 100.00 on food we couldn't eat over half of and waited an hour for. Probably not going back or ordering again
