Dollarama

Didn't have any of the good Dollarama stuff. Also didn't have any cashiers and I hate self check outs. I'll stick to the dollar stores that ring me in.

Nice store, lots of stuff. Aisles always seem clean and full. Employees could be a bit more pleasant, I didn't want to use self checkout and told the Employee I'd rather be wrung thru and she was short and rude and called for someone else to do it but took two pages for them to actually come to help. Fix your attitudes

Lots of selection which was great; however, a portion of checkouts have been replaced with self checkouts. I had a full cart (over $100) and asked if I could use a regular checkout. The employee tending the self checkouts was short and rude as was the employee she called to ring me through. It took the employee a fraction of the time to ring me through at the regular counter of what it would’ve taken me to sort through everything at the self checkout. Considering the overflowing cart it seemed reasonable to have someone ring me in but the staff felt otherwise.

I like our small town dollar store.it's quaint and in a good spot to do other shopping

While they may have a decent selection, the prices have gotten ridiculous.
Same low quality items but now expect to pay 3 times more. Not sure why it's called Dollarama anymore.

The overall selection is good as the store itself is massive. However there are usually only maximum 2 cashiers working so I think they are understaffed. Expect to wait an additional 15 mins just for the checkout line

The guy with the gap shirt and hat saying "Kmfdm" was very rude to us and other customers from what we heard with his big attitude of having to work today

The line is always 15+ people long every time I go there and the 2 people at the register wait way too long to ask for help and then none of the 3 that end up working have any interest in trying to be fast so people like me who are on their lunch break can get back to work on time. Management definitely needs a change or good talking to about service!

Always love walking around as I never know what I'm going to find. This trip was made to purchase items to be donated and as usual I had no issues in sourcing what I was looking for. I did notice that things are now up to $5 so inflation hits again.

Can't go wrong. Good prices, clean store, well laied out, plenty of staff so when they get busy they get more cashiers working.

Has a ton of stuff except for lined, graph or printer paper. Got most of my son's school supplies there. Toys are cheaply made though. Don't often last long

Unlike its twin in the USA, dollar tree, Dollarama will get you for every last dime in your wallet while making you think that you got a bargain. This particular location is probably one of the largest I’ve seen in the Fredericton area. It is also pleasantly cooled and spaced nicely. But just as I was talking about junk, I happened upon a sign that was made upside down.

The staff aren't even trusted to cancel an item when you decide last minute you're not interested. The majority of the products are still junk but just cost more now. Beware of items that you can purchase at larger box stores, the dollarama charges more for some of their items than Walmart does.

Found everything I wanted and more tonight.
Young lady on the cash was great, even brought me out a bag I forgot.

They never have what you need. The young employee who likes to always be playing with things to see what makes them work. He said what to do with my broken one. I went to the car and got it. He tried to fix it but couldn't. He said wait a minute and went outback and got packing tape that's all he could find and taped it. Then he tried to pick things up with it. It worked he said to add duct tape when I got home. It is sticky working. A big shout out to him.

Frequent dollarama. First time at the mall location. Had to maneuver through 4 young employees. One looked assigned there and was actually doing something while the other 3 pulled cans forward on shelves while they were having a personal convo. Then they disbursed and one notices the long line and yells at the people actually working. She said “what? You don’t call for backup? ” Then I was lucky enough to be served by one that was still enjoying her personal convo, including someone behind me I didn’t see. Then I happened to pass two of them returning from a break, presumably. They had trays of beverages and went through the mall doors and looked back at the door shutting on a woman struggling with a stroller. They did have their hands full, not saying they needed to help, it was just the giggling at the women’s expense saying “sorry I can’t deal with that” and laughing. That was Saturday, April 3 between 5-6pm

Odd layout compared to other stores in town, but conveniently placed for those shopping the mall.

So disappointed today I bought Christmas decorations and one of the Christmas lights won't light up. I asked for exchange and they won't allow it. I read their return policy it says you can request for refund or exchange if the product is defective. Obviously the manager and the salesperson there doesn't know their own policy.
Updated November 25,2020. In fairness I emailed customer service responded immediately and deal the situation. Thank you so much. Now I will give 5 stars. Thank you.
