Dominion Hill Country Inn

We were a group. Three stayed in the Curtis Suite. It's worth noting that in this room there was only one side table and lamp. Also, as expected the pull out couch was less than ideal (lumpy). The rest of our group stayed stayed in cabin 7. The Door definitely needed adjusting as it was quite difficult to open and close. Another side table and lamp would have been nice. After touring St Andrews all day, it was great to arrive to this beautiful spot. Staff are amazing.breakfast was great. We were able to go in early to have a coffee prior to the 0800 breakfast start time. Great place and highly recommend

So I booked the wrong night and they were full for the night we arrived. But there was another couple staying in the RV and they needed to cut their stay short, so Mike (owner/manager) made it happen, and he recommended a great local place for dinner (Ossie's Lunch).
You can tell with Mike's demeanor and ready smile that hospitality is his thing.
He has added to the inn ten glamping sites and a small RV. The RV has a bathroom and fridge right there so it's one up on the glamping tents, but the tents would have been airier and more roomy.
The bath house for the glamping tents is perfect, and the hot tubs (be sure to reserve under 'activities' on the website) are just icing on the cake. Hot Tub #1 is more private (surrounded by a hedge).
Breakfast in the AM was great (eggs/French toast/fresh fruit).

We had a nice stay at Dominion Hill. The glamping tent was well appointed and very clean. Breakfast in the morning was a bonus, and decent but not stellar. The hot tub had very strong smelling chemicals (enough to make eyes uncomfortable), so we didn't stay in it long. The bathrooms were reasonably clean, comparable to Provincial park campground facilities. The location was pretty good, not too far away from anything, but far enough to be very private.

Excellent inn with special touches. Hot tub, hot breakfast, 24 hr access to coffee, water, ice, yard games, hiking, many types of accommodations from glamping to farmhouse. We stayed in an upstairs room with adjoining living room - very spacious, clean, historic, interesting. Quite a friendly place. Unfortunately dinner service wasn't available for our stay which meant a 40 min round trip into town but if I return again, I'd definitely choose to stay here and I'd try the meal as well.

We opted to stay in the glamping. Good experience. The tent has all the necessary comforts and allows true contact with nature in safety. The complex also has other housing options. Good breakfast buffet.

Oh my goodness, the royal cottage was amazing. It was massive - the pictures don't do it justice! The staff were friendly and helpful, the beds were superior and the location was great. It's a little out of the way but not so much that it's inconvenient. I would stay here again and again. The other areas looked great too! I would love to try their glamping experiences!

Such an amazing and cozy place. The breakfast is really nice, might not have a full lot of options but it changes everyday and always taste good. Quiet location, good service, clean sites. Plus, there is lawn games, firepit, jacuzzi.

Best stay on our trip. Feels like home. Excellent food and atmosphere. Best continental breakfast ever. The hot tubs were a bonus with one hour private bookings. You will not be disappointed!

Amazing place! Me and a few friends stayed in the loft which was beautiful. There were two pull out couches in the upstairs and a room with a queen bed in the downstairs part. It felt so cosy and we had the best time there. The owner Michael was so kind and was willing to do anything to make our stay more enjoyable. I very much recommend staying here!

Place was not cleaned when we got here, dead bugs everywhere, decorations from last people still around. We came for the hot tubs but they were closed the whole weekend we were here due to "possible power outages", they should've mentioned that on their site. Also recieved a noise complaint on a Saturday at 9pm when they were hosting a mardi gras party literally next door.

I did not stay. I attended the Rum Runners Party. Cosy, attractive venue. Immaculate. Delicious food. And plenty of it. Generous seafood in seafood chowder. Delicious pulled pork sliders. And the BREAD PUDDING! Ooh la la. Water pitchers on the table were replenished regularly. Friendly, happy, polite staff. Played EVERY song I requested. If no one was dancing, they would change the song. Very smart. Excellent service. Not understaffed like so many places. Super generous prizes and lots of them. Very well organized with such a positive, welcoming atmosphere. Superbly done. I highly recommend. I look forward to the next party. "The hostess (host) with the mostest. " Thank you.

The property is beautiful, the owner is lovely and a great story teller, food is great and rooms are comfy. Those outdoor hot tubs were the perfect cherry on top.

Wonderful and helpful staff, great location. We were just there for a wedding and stayed in a glamp tent, this was a first for us but definitely enjoyed it. The tent was clean, spacious, and very comfortable even with lower temps over night. Michael was extremely friendly and accommodating I would highly recommend this site to anyone.

Such a beautiful place set back in the country! There is a nice waterfall on the drive in. The complex has multiple cabins of various sizes as well as glamping tents. The history of the facility is fascinating. (I don’t want to ruin the surprise). Our cabin was a small room with a queen sized bed. It was quaint and reminded us of our childhood summer camp days! Breakfast is in the main house. Many fresh choices available and even giant real coffee cups (vs just plastic ones like most hotels). We can’t wait to go back again and try out one of the tent cabins!

Nice place. Could use more outlets/usb ports. Vey quiet. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Very good breakfast. Nice shower. A small kitchenette is available for use

Beautiful remote location, the lodge where our room was located was charming old building with lots of character!

The room was clean and spacious. Two twin beds were pushed together to make a king bed. There was one rocking chair in the room, which was nice but impractical as there was no other chair for two people to sit!

Very limited TV reception as there was zero live channels! And a loud window AC!

Staff were friendly and welcoming.

First time glamping. Michael and staff are very welcoming. Our tent was very spacious, bed clean and comfortable and they even set up a cot for our 4 year old son to sleep on. We will definitely be coming back and would recommend anyone come here.

This is an amazing find, a quaint, historic inn, with a homey feel and friendly service. There are suites, rooms, cabins and glamping sites.
Dogs are welcome.

Delightful glamping experience! Luxurious bedding and comfortable amenities. They thought of everything. Pellet stove was easy to use and made the evening cozy. Booked access to deluxe hot tub under a canopy of trees and flowers. No wifi in our tent but access at the main building. Simple breakfast provided. You could just hear highway traffic but moreso nature and birds. They provided noise cancelling machines but it was very quiet in the evening. Portable toilet and sink on the deck which was handy. Main bathroom and shower was a short walk away. Fantastic experience and less than 15 min to St Andrews. Loved it!

I was here for a wedding and let me tell you this place was AMAZING!

The location itself is very peaceful, even though it’s near the highway, it is up and away on a cliff which blocks most of the noise. The place is well taken care of with large open lawns and wooded areas.

The staff are friendly and helpful, Michael will go that extra mile to ensure all guest are comfortable and their breakfast were amazing.

Speaking of food, the wedding day the chef and their team were unable to make it due to extremely unfortunate circumstances (They are all okay!) the team at dominion whipped up a fantastic meal to feed everyone and it was delicious.

The accommodations are all wonderful (and I spent time in all of them)

The manor house is roomy and comfortable and has many rooms to stay together.

Harmony cottage is beautiful and again has lots of space to enjoy with a large wrap around veranda.

The Glamping is wonderful. Large tents (space is not at issue at this place) with twinkling lights and a nice pellet stove (if you run out of pellets at 3am, Michele will come bring you pellets) and a lovely deck to sit on and enjoy the night sky, which has hardly any light pollution giving you a beautiful view.

Fabulous place in beautiful setting. This 150 year old estate is wonderful. The owner is keeping the charm and beauty of a bygone era. We had Suite 1 in the Manor House. The breakfast was great and the coffee divine.

If I could I’d give 10 stars haha. We had our wedding at Dominion Hill, not only was it affordable, but the staff was amazingly friendly and attentive! The food was amazing and the cottages, glamping sites were very comfortable! I would definitely recommend going for a weekend!

Lovely, clean Inn with great staff. We only stayed one night as we were just passing through, but it was just the bit of rest and relaxation that we needed.

My boyfriend and I stayed at one of the glamping sites for two nights. The tent was beautifully decorated and even larger than we expected while still being super cozy! The Dominion Hill grounds are beautiful and all of the amenities are very well kept. We enjoyed using the hot tub area and we also had an amazing dinner in the dinning room. The food was very affordable and such good quality; I had one of the best seafood pastas I've ever had! Breakfast in the morning always had a nice assortment of baked goods, eggs, fruit, etc. Thanks for a great stay Michael and the rest of the staff!

We loved staying here, great location, great food and the owner Michael is very good at hosting and making sure we enjoy our stay. It’s a lovely place next to a lovely small town called St-Andrews. We stayed at Dominion Hill in the end of august and enjoyed St-Andrews and the beach called New River.
We will return next time in town.

This is an amazing property and staff. Micheal goes out of his way to ensure all your needs are met. The property is so relaxing and peaceful. Its like a hidden gem of New Brunswick. We would stay there again! And recommend anyone else too! From full cottages to glampling, they have it all.

The place is very serene from the time you drive up. On the way I saw a water fall and an eagle fllying over it. The bed in Cabin 6 is delightful - the softest most comfortable bed I have ever in my life slept in and I have travelled a lot for business. I met a friendly French Canadian couple and I practised my french while he practiced his English (his spouse was fluently bilingual) Free use of the gian massaging chair and a nice propane firepit outside my door. RELAXING!

We attended a supper and comedy show, and had a fabulous time! Great food, great service and great entertainment! Bravo!

We stayed at one of the new glamping sites here and were pretty blown away by how well done everything was.

The sites offer all the amenities that you need (within reason of glamping) and you also have access to all of the amenities of the Inn (including massage therapist, breakfast, hot tub, etc)

We will be back for sure and anyone in the area should try to stay here as a first choice.

A hidden gem. When we arrived we were greeted with a smile and personally taken to our accommodation. Along the way we were given a short historical story of the property, buildings and activities available around the property. We stayed in Lupin cottage. We loved it and so did our puppy Sawyer! Friendly staff great stay and will definitely try and rebook again.

Had a great weekend at this fantastic historic property. Love the history and the service was exceptional. As I was trying to remember my Netflix password, I heard a noise outside, looked out the window and saw kids actually playing on a swing set. It's a beautiful, peaceful spot, just remember what you are there for, and what you're not. Enjoy!

Beautiful little spot in the nature away from it all (but not too far). The "glamping" section was nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had access to showers, a hot tub, a dining area where they provide breakfast in the morning. This place is surrounded by woods right next to some nice walking trails. Perfect area around for cycling and some nice rivers to kayak or canoe. It's close to Saint-Andrews which has plenty of attractions like whale watching, fine dining, gift shops and a beautiful garden you can walk along. Strongly recommended!

The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. They followed covid rules, the whole place was full of country charm. A special Thank you to Trent and Zach for being great hosts.

Great location.

Dominion Hill hosted my wedding and honeymoon. Micheal and the rest of the staff were fantastic and took care of our every need, even on short notice. The rooms are gorgeous. You will feel like you are living in a gentry house with modern amenities. The location is rural enough to be scenic, while only being a short drive from main stretch in St. Andrews. The prices are EMINENTLY reasonable. I encourage any visitors to try their food options as well, as the chef is absolutely stellar. I cannot recommend this establishment enough.

Beautiful experience from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Stayed in the glamping site as well as the loft and both were beautiful. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Zack took care of whatever we needed at all times and was very welcoming upon arrival. We will definitely be back in the future and will be trying more of their gormet meals as other guests at the time went on how great the meals were. We also have a large Rottweiler that was completely welcome. Awesome experience all together!
