It's the third vehicle I bought at Downey Ford. I always find staff helpful knowledgeable & friendly. Thanks to Scott Melanson who as been great to deal with all along the process from the day I ordered to the delivery. The QUICK LANE for Service & maintenance is efficient and reliable.

Everything started off well. Then a few glitches. Manager Russell fixed it up. Excellent customer service was provided, thank you Russell. Thanks to all the staff that worked late to ensure both my vehicles are safe for a long trip. Never have I encountered a dealership that the staff is so friendly and happy. Great prices for switch over tires. I can drop by anytime to get my tires checked and inflated. Great service all the time!

Visited Downey Ford Saint John for the first time recently to get my vehicle serviced. Very poor communication initially from a service advisor. What I understood would take about an hour or so to complete instead had me waiting 6+ hours to get my vehicle back. Still not sure what the point of making an early morning reservation is if your vehicle doesn’t get looked at until 2pm. But anyways, despite the huge inconvenience for me, Lead Advisor Giselle Landry totally saved the day with her outstanding customer service and knowledge as well as her very friendly and professional attitude. Because of Giselle and her ability to connect with customers and make them feel appreciated, I will return for future servicing and perhaps even a new purchase. Thanks Giselle!

If you are buying a vehicle, go see Scott at Downey! We were in a pickle where we needed a new vehicle and Scott insured us that he would find us a great family vehicle. Never felt like we were being pressured and the whole experience was a great one.

I purchased a used 2017 Jetta from Downey Ford this past winter and I have been exceptionally happy with the service that I have received. The cars USB port for Apple Carplay stopped working the week I got the vehicle and Downey's put a new one in the vehicle for me at no charge. As I bought the car in the winter, I never tested the A/C. Recently, with the warm weather, I turned on the A/C for the first time to find it broken. I took it into Downey's and again, they are fixing the broken A/C for me at no charge. Very impressed with the customer service I have received and the prompt responses for service.

Service was done for a recall on my 2016 Ford F150 and there were six recalls for my VIN but only one was required. They repaired and replaced all six. They kept me updated through the entire process. Awesome experience.

I never had much issues when it came to purchases or maintenance; and each vehicle I had was all Ford from this branch, whether used or new. There is no doubt the typical american greed involved however. Look west, and you'll probably find cheaper vehicles, not with regards to the current economy as of writing. Although I see one like mine for 22k, usually 35-50k here. Food for thought, cheaper to ship or pay someone to get it here.

Dealers that care (or rather, hire proper mechanics), come up with solutions to problems whether formal or not; whereas I was charged for a check engine light which is a 5 min process to scan with an ODB reader (who charges for this, especially after wasting my time?). I waited onsite for hours for a "specialist" when I could have scanned it myself provided they let me. I undercoat my vehicle due to harsh salts here, and ironically this branch advertises Krown (last few visits i noted this) which i go to yearly. Well, this "voids your warranty" in some cases and will not cover burnt out sensors because of the coating; my logical explanation is the liquid film traps the sensor heat and thus eventually burns out (bad design like the sync system). I often get questioned about it on a visit, but I see it as little games for profit and it is probably on file.

Another point, trade in value when I appraised my vehicle for the fun of it was a slap in the face for the fact used vehicles are more than ever. My used vehicle is like new and looked after; guaranteed to be over priced like some of the newer models if I sold it at the offering price. Anyone looking to trade, upgrade or sell; consider other dealers and used branches like recar as I don't feel competitiveness for selling/trading in general from a dealer. Staff are all great and friendly without question, but don't advertise false ads if you won't back it or claim you will fix something if you won't. This issue was 2 years ago if not longer, and probably was expected to be forgotten, but the light is always on. I just didn't care enough to update my review each time I thought of it or bug anyone; ironically I was emailed to 5 star you guys for a correction despite warranty not covering it (for any non commercial buyers, consider skipping the warranty.). I don't want to be contacted like last time as I don't really care and lost that level of trust; as per any professional job, do better. Pays off in the long haul, I am but one customer.

I have owned too many Ford trucks to count, I always trust my Ford, I always made it home. I like to know I am always going to be driving a Ford. Leanne Roman at Downey Ford Saint John always helps me whenever I need her.

This is my first Ford in my 30 yrs of driving and I can say the service and the quality of Downey ford will bring me back to this dealer. I would recommend them to any of my family or friends.

I've had my vehicle in a few times now at Downey Ford in Saint Stephen.

No issues with getting a timely appointment and they do stand behind their work and follow-up with customers afterwards to ensure the work done was completed to the my satisfaction.

My recent experience with Downey Ford in Saint John, N. B.has been the best I’ve ever had with any other dealership. They were very helpful and professional looking after any issues with my vehicle. I felt like I got the VIP treatment that only the rich & famous get. They know their business and do it very well. I am looking forward to having my vehicle serviced by this dealership in the future. When a deer hit our Ford Flex, the flex had to be written off.
This was the family car for my wife, myself, and our four children. It was now time to upgrade to our dream vehicle: The Ford Expedition Max Limited.
While we worked out the specifics of our insurance claims, we searched for weeks.
To locate the car of our dreams, we searched extensively throughout New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and parts of Quebec.
Downey Ford was the constant factor. Due to our large family and the possibility of having another child in the future, we desired an 8-seater. They had an 8-seater 2018 Expedition Max Limited equipped with a bench.
I was advised to speak with Heather at Downey Ford since it was suggested that she would be the best individual to talk with.

She gave us the impression that we were her top priority when it came to getting the payments we need and going through the procedure of purchasing a car from another city without having seen it before.
She went out of her way to make this procedure fantastic.
Keeping me informed at every moment with pictures, videos, and efforts to cut costs. (Did they even profit from us?: P)
For a Christmas surprise, she even handed it to us with a bow on it.
By the end of it, she felt like a family friend.
We are very grateful that Heather was able to help us navigate this difficult scenario and make it into a wonderful experience.
We appreciate Heather for helping us find our perfect vehicle and for making the entire process easy, and enjoyable.

Well looked after but Dealerships should have the parts needed to remedy recalls. We've had the.same advisor twice & she is excellent at her job.

Got winter tires changed over. Asked to put the back fender back into the clips as it was off. Was told that I had to take my ford ecosport to an auto body shop as this ford dealership can’t fix it. Why can’t a ford dealership not fix a ford vehicle?
Instead they tightened my front license plate and put foam in the back to stop the rattle. Not once did I complain about that rattle. I didn’t even knew it rattled.
All of this cost me $199

Have had my Mopar product serviced here on various occasion without any issue due to the fact the local dodge dealer cannot seem to conduct business properly. Have owned fords in the past and have always received top notch service from this dealer, including a rental if it is going to be several days for a repair. Next vehicle will likely be from here.
