East Coast Pub and Grill

Food was amazing but the waitress only came over once the hour we were there. The part the makes me not wanna come back is I pay debit on my phone not leaving a tip on debit cuz I was going to give some cash out of pocket but as it prints out she goes oh my that’s a lot for the tip in front of my group of friend. The 4 of us will not be dinning in again. Takeout only

The pub is under renovations. They did do the best they could, but it still felt more cramped than usual. I had the tenderloin tips with mashed, absolutely delicious. Our server was prompt, and very friendly. The only thing that brought down the star rating was, the cutlery/utensil "rollups" are not wrapped so the cutlery is covered beyond the handle (the whole point of a rollup) and they were being carried around in our servers apron. I can guarantee you, the apron is washed about 3 times a year (if she cares). But the chance of less wash cycles throughout the year is highly likely. I ended up using my napkin and spray hand sanitizer to wash them off. Now, all that said, I have worked the industry and i understand that corners need to be cut to ensure speedy service, but there are better corners to cut. Food for thought though, maybe with these renos would be a good time to add yourself a server station or 2. A small little kiosk stand that you can store your cutlery, napkins, side plates, extra salt and pepper shakers, straws, etc. Anything that you need all the time and is always something being asked of from your tables. Place them in an area where staff walk by the most. Be strategic!
I still love this place for a nice treat once and a while, excited for the completion of renos.

Only 1 cup of coffee, no refills, and not asked how food was ignored as usual probably won't be back depending on how hungry I am

This is our new go to for weekend breakfast. Excellent food, service is even better! If you are in Saint John this is definitely worth checking out.

Always a really neat old concert on the bar tv, and sports on the rest. Food is average but price is fair. Servers are attentive and friendly. Great spot to meet with some buds for suds or take someone for a meal out.

Quick service. Nice people food was reasonably priced and fantastic. I have the blooming onion and what every kind of sause that came with that amazing so good in fact I put it on my chicken burger. Will be back!

Had to wait for 10 minutes for a table for 6. Plates are way too small for the food you get. Had to ask for another plate. Food was delicious. Had the fish cakes.

We went for breakfast with our woman's touch football team, a table of 10, Saturday morning. The service was fast and fantastic. The server was wonderful. She was very attentive and personable. The food was really good, hot and freshly made. I had the omelet, pan fries, and toast - those pan fries were some of the best I've had.

For those looking for a cheap meal with time to kill, this location offers a humble quality selection of mediocre to fairly prepared dishes. Dishes I've had such as the poutine was cold, cheese unmelted, the fries bagged from Superstore along with the canned gravy. Nachos were just Tostitos they sprinkled cheese on and nuked. Breakfasts are hit or miss, with their scrambled eggs at times far too wet and are sitting in a pool of water on my plate. However, the burger platters have always been satisfying and I will stop in from time to time for a cold beer and hot burger when I'm on that side of town.

The place was so clean and smelled good. Service was excellent came back at least 4 times to see how we were good.excellent food was nice and hot also. Would highly recommend this place

Food is normally very good. I had the seafood platter tonight and the seafood except for the fish was way overcooked to the point of being almost burnt and very dry. Just a bad order because as I said, the food is usually very well prepared

Very yummy and good prices. They earn bonus points for their gravy. It's the best I've tasted from a restaurant. I had a burger (can't remember the name of it) and fries. The portions were generous. The burger had two patties and hot peppers and cheese and salsa. I had to take it apart to eat it as it was too tall to eat like a regular burger. The fries were crispy and not soggy. I will definitely go back.

Our food was great for the price point. The bartender did a great job serving us while also juggling the customers at the bar. Friendly staff as well.

Food was good. But was not impressed with a 45 minute wait for food. No explanation for the long wait by the waitress. Felt like we were being avoided. Watched several tables that came in after us get served and leave before we got our food. When the food was brought over we were told one of the sausages was halved so they were bringing another. Never saw that either. It was our first time there and it was the slowest service we have ever had.

I ordered hot wings and while they were tasty there was no spice to the wings at all. I also ordered a poutine which was made with real cheese curds and was very good. The service and atmosphere was great.

I got the double bacon cheeseburger, fries with gravy, and mozza sticks as an appetizer. I loved it all so much. The burger was so filling that I could feel myself being full after eating half of it, but I ate the rest, even though the entire burger a was pretty much the size of my face. The mozza sticks were SO delicious. The batter was so good, crisp, and a thicker layer of batter than most restuarants seem to have. I could not finish my fries but I had a few of them and even loved the gravy. 10/10
The service was great, the servers were so kind and patient with my sister and I taking forever to order (it was our first time there). They really hyped up the bacon cheeseburger/the bacon cheeseburger poutine, which were the items we were already eyeballing. They were just so friendly and pleasant. 10/10.
The only complaint was from my sister, she got the steak spice wings and the bacon cheeseburger poutine. I am not sure if I would call it a complaint though. She just did not find there was enough spice in the steak spice wings. She is a fan of spice though, and used to Montreal Steak Spice like we have at home. But overall, I think she really liked her food too.
I would DEFINITELY recommend it to any one who wants to give it a try. And it seems very popular because there were lots of people in the pub in the time that we were there. The food was also not overpriced. I think the most expensive thing on the menu was the seafood platter, and that was $23.
Everything I got with my sister came to a little over $60 and then I tipped 10%.
So again. 10/10 reccomend, and 10/10 DEFINITELY will be visiting again!

This was such a great spot to go on a date night. Great service and yummy food. We will be back!

The thing I like best about this review is the pic seems to be taken from the exact table we sat at. I knew we sat there for a reason. Food was great but turn up the music just loud enough to hear.awesome spot.

The food here is excellent. The service is excellent really love this location view. My colleagues had a real great time meeting here such a great place to eat. I don't eat really excellent staff real good customer service. A long wait at all. The food is prepared very, well. You can tell the stuff takes Pride this cookie. Can't wait to see you guys again soon. Thanks for everything really enjoyed your restaurant, and these guys are definitely awesome. Thanks again.

This place is the best breakfast in the city, hands down. Everything is is also great. But the greatest though.

We ordered 2 steak meals and chicken fingers. One steak was cooked right, one over cooked, neither was very flavorful. Ther chicken fingers were hard, like they were overcooked. Fries weren't anything special. No plans on returning. The staff was great tho

When going out to a pub in the Maritimes you can expect decent local beers on tap and delicious fried fish and chips from the kitchen. These two elements are in abundance at every good pub from Fredricton to Halifax. However if you are okay with run of the mill beer like Kieths or Coors and are not looking to eat any fish then this is the place for you. I hear the burgers are good. Just don't order the fish.

Food could use a bit more flavour, but over all great experience every time we've gone. Good prices, good service, no complaints.

Food was great big portions service was fast and friendly and cost was worth the size and service definitely a new frequent place for me!

Food is always good and the girls are always friendly. Sometimes they seem to be under staffed for the amount of people they get on Thursday or Friday night.
