Waited 1 hour for a glass of water it was terrible service when I told the waitress that we have been waiting for an hour she finally brought us our water and she insisted that we were only there for 25 minutes

Chain restaurant with mediocre food. Service was very good, if you go on a deal night it is rather affordable.

Provided excellent customer service and was very attentive. She made us feel welcome right from the start. EAST SIDE MARIO in Fredericton should be feel very lucky have someone like Kailyn working for them. Way to go Kailyn keep up the AMAZING customer service.

Food sat on the pass forever and was all dried out. Service was slow (Poor management, not the faut of the 1 server they had on). Same menu they've had for 20 years.

Went to East Side Mario's (ESM) in Fredericton last night and had terrible service. The waitress was nice enough but we didn't see much of her and had terrible service. Waited a long time to order and over an hour between sitting down and getting our food. Waited long time for bread and drinks. Someone else (supervisor? Manager?) intervened and helped out. Improved the service but still unacceptable. Were you short staff? If so, should have reduced your number of tables so staff could handle it. Very disappointed.may never go back

I had such a great experience! The food was on point, my waitress Pascalle was friendly, answered all my questions, and a great professional. She made me feel so welcome. I would highly recommend Eastside Mario's in Fredericton.

I had Emma as a waitress the other night.the restaurant was very hectic at the time and everyone seemed stressed and rushing around.despite the stress, Emma was extremely kind and made sure the needs of our table were met.sending this as a thank you and well done to her.

I love the atmosphere and free bread but seriously the food is unfortunately very tasteless add some seasonings please!

Delightful food and staff but they took my favourite item off the menu so it's four stars.still HIGHLY recommend the place though!

We had 4 children with us and the server was not very prompt in getting them glasses of water. It also took a very long time to get our salad and and adult beverages. The salads were also half-filled (or less.) The main course was delicious. Next time, I will ask that they put the salad order in as soon as we sit down.

We had Jen as our waitress! Best dining experience my family has ever had! She is absolutely the sweetest knowledgeable waitress I have ever had. Huge Shoutout for going above and beyond.

Foods good if you get it hot (barley happens). The service is always bad. I've gone there three different times with three different waitress and had bad service every time.

It's been a while since I was there. It's exactly what you'd expect from a well established restaurant chain. The staff are well trained the food is good and the atmosphere is good

It unfortunately was alarming. Server grabbed a hair off plate infront of all 4 of us and still had the plate moving toward us and asked if we still wanted it. We waited for another meal which is stressful and the wrong dish came out. This guest not only is diabetic but did not have a meal to eat. We were visiting from Ontario and eat at Eastside when we are near one. The 2 guests in Fredricton where this happened were new guests and will never go back. It’s upsetting

Had Hells kitchen dish dinner. Lots of flavourful, loved the Italian wedding soup. Also love having my own bread stick to slice from myself. Great experience.

I have eaten there many times and tonight was the smallest portions that I have ever received. Not a happy customer.

Service is good. We went her twice in the last 10 years first time ordered the spaghetti bolognase sorry if I spelled that wrong. It was bland.second time I ordered thier chicken sandwich it was like I got it out of a vending machine. I got a poutine with it and the gravy was awful. I couldn't finish my meal. The compt it though. Again service was good so there's that.

East side garbage.
The goods:
- The waitress was good.
- The food is served under 3 minutes

The disgust:
- pasta was cold.
- chicken parmesan was microwave garbage.

The only reason it is served so fast is because they made it the day before and they reheat it.

First time I took 2-3 bits then left the rest of my plate.

Took a friend (a senior lady) for supper last night. From the moment we walked in the door we had amazing service! As usual, the food was good and service was very fast. But a huge shout-out to our server Kristen, who was attentive and engaging and dealt with my friends special requests with good humor! In these "Covid" times, many seniors have been isolated and Kristen made her feel she was was a long-lost family member.:) Well done Kristen!

Bad service and food quality has disappeared since the last time I've been to a East Side Mario's. Didn't get asked for a drink refill once, and the food tasted like it came straight out of a microwave. It's definitely not priced that way though. I would stay away from here.

Here for lunch, with our 10 year old. Atmosphere is terrible, no music, very noisy. Service has been barely adequate. We waited a long time before drink orders had been taken. Almost an hour for food. Paid extra for the all you can eat salad, no one offered us a refill on this. Our pizza arrived lukewarm, looking like something that had been pulled from a dumpster. Had to pick raw bacon off it. No check in to see if our meal was okay. Not enough napkins at a table with a child. Chilly day and no heat on. Sorry we came here and sorrier to have to pay for a disappointing meal, along with bad service.

Everything was so salty. Meatballs were definitely not homemade, probably just pre made from frozen. Very disappointing experience.

$81 for a pasta, pizza, and a bruschetta. Not ordering from here again. Order local, learned my lesson.

We went in without a reservation and we're seated within 5 min. We ordered calamari and mussels that were both done very well.
The mussels were done in white wine.
They brought out garlic bread with real butter and the salad, and soup. The table was full everything was delicious. We were brought out our entrees and my son was too full from the rest to finish. Our waitress was a doll and we had a wonderful evening.
We will definitely go back again.

Had Eastside Mario's version of grilled cheese sandwich with fries
Was amazing, make sure you are hungry it is very filling.
The garlic Parmigian fries I highly recommend, no need for salt or anything on them.

It was the first time I had eaten there, overall experience was good. I would definitely eat there again

Everyone in our group agreed there was not much flavor in any of the dishes we had. As my main dish a had a "Vegetarian" pasta with pesto, fresh vegetables and goats cheese. Given pesto contains Parmesan it is rarely really vegetarian. The dish seems more like a thrown together vegetarian option more than I thought out meal. The fresh vegetables was just broccoli and the goat cheese was literally just one spoon full plopped on top.

I recommend the seafood linguine, but unless you're really hungry stick with the lunch portion. LOT'S to consume there. Waitress was lovely, I felt bad because I couldn't tip her as much as I wanted to. Will defenitley make it a go to place. Music was a bit loud as well.

It was a very busy day it was my hubby's birthday when we arrived as we're a large family, the staff at door are very sweet and kind they took us right in so there was not no waiting in line for us which was nice. The staff are very efficient and did not have it waiting long at all for our food, even though the place was so busy The meals were absolutely fantastic and I have to say" there was a bartender or waitress who was just go go go with the big smile on her face I couldn't help but snap a pic Her energy was awesome and was on her toes working hard as we noticed they all were working hard and very kind anyways all the staff greeted us on the way in and greeted us on the way out we will definitely be back again that's guaranteed100%! The cook or who ever running this place sure knows what their doing in the kitchen. Great cooks give a rating 9/10 we love to try all different kinds of restaurants and found this place has large booths to fit large families unlike most places, the atmosphere was very relaxing and I really enjoyed that and the Italian music playing softly in the background was very nice. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HARD WORK ️

Really good service my chicken parmesan was overdone though and blackened on the underside.still tasty. I could have sent it back but was hungry so didn't.

Food wasn't consistent, mine was like water, and the other person I was with was thick creamy sauce. It felt more like soup then pasta. Below is mine vs the other.

Went for dinner with my daughter, the restaurant was not busy but looked dirty our table and Menzies were still wet with cleaning spray and took forever for waitress to show up. Bread was amazing but that was the only highlight, ordered chicken parmigiana we got out Caesar salad it was bland soggy and warm, main course the pasta was cold and chicken burnt. Let’s just say first and last time at that location. Staff was friendly but slow.

Food was good but watched person after person after us come in and get there food yet 45 mins and we are just now getting our food. We also had to ask for everything that should be normal provided. And never received my wife's birthday dessert. Had to ask for it again. One of the worst experiences I have ever had.

Went for a birthday supper with my adult grandkids. Spent over $200.00. Waited a long time for our food. My grandson took a drink from his glass and cut his lip… the glass had a chip and large crack. Called a waitperson over and told her. Her response was “Oh sorry. Do you want another drink? ” Had to ask for napkins to clean up his lip. Someone else came over and apologized and said his meal was free. No birthday song for the birthday girl. Food was mediocre as was the service. Not a great experience. Won’t be going back.

Tables are kind of small even with a family of 4 but the food was really good. A bit of a wait but eruo 2020 was going on and it was the supper rush so to ve expected.

A little disappointed with how difficult it is to order takeout, I was redirected multiple times to different people at a literal call center, not even talking to someone at the Eastside Mario's location.

The salad was soggy and when I asked for a better one, the manager said that it was perfectly okay and I had nothing to complain about. I am disappointed and will not be returning.

Great service here. Portion sizes are especially small for an east sides. Food is usually good apart from hells kitchen chicken which is always too little sauce and not the east sides regular spicy sauce. Nice clean restaurant. Very family friendly and great with young children.

I haven't been to this East Side Marios before, and hadn't been to an East Side Mario's in quite a while. The cheese cappelletti was as delicious as ever. I had one and 1/2 servings of the all-you-can-eat salad, without onions or olives. The wait staff was very friendly and checked on me regularly. Highly recommended.

Prices are a bit much. Our salad had rotton lettuce in it. I use to think of this as a cheap place but prices are comparable to Montanas which is way better.
