Notre chambre était bien assez grande et propre mais la chambre de bain aurait besoin d'un peu d'amour comme les joints autour du bain et une couche de peinture serait la bienvenue

Everything is perfect except a weird smell coming from the bathroom.
*new info* the smell comes from the city doing work on the sewage flushing waters. Not the hotel's fault but still a major inconvenience and now the water in the toilet, sink and shower is brown.

Really nice place to say at! The room was pretty clean and to location is absolutely great. In just a few steps, you are in downtown. The free breakfast was also a nice touch. There is a microwave and a fridge in the room.

The family who owns this hotel are incredibly cheap & advertise their hotel as the cheapest in Miramichi to lure you in. So they can charge you for anything they see fit.

Ive worked for 4 different hotels. 1 of them was a choice hotel & this is not the standard they expect of their franchises.

When we checked in, they said if my children move furniture we would be charged.
We never recieved room service so had to use the same towels for 3 days and then once we finally convinced them to give us new towels & they took our old towels back they said they were so dirty they wouldnt be able to clean them and we would have to be charged.

We also used the towels to clean up water and coffee off of the floor & they said we should have asked for rags from front desk. When we were cleaning up the water, the towels got dirty because the floors werent clean aside from being swept.

Again, Ive worked in 4 hotels & we expect dirty towels from our guests.

The owners are scam artists and it is a shame that they are working under econolodge because again, choice hotels have a higher standard than this.

I'm not sure how other guests have reviewed their service as friendly, however i do assume that they do not like children at all and that is why they were so rude to us.

Location, location, location.right by Ritchie's Wharf and not too far from anywhere else. (We just drove from Montreal; "far" is relative.)

The room smelled of humidity and cigar smoke when we walked in and the bathroom door handle was extremely loose. My husband immediately took pictures and went down to report both and told them he was NOT going to be charged for those things. When we returned from the wharf, the doorknob had been repaired. That impressed us. The mini fridge froze everything that wasn't on the door (Ever eat a frozen apple? It's even uglier when it defrosts.) The air conditioning did it's job and the room served its purpose as a place to stash our stuff and sleep.

We really enjoyed our stay here, room and everywhere else is very clean, the sheets are really soft and comfy. Reception is very nice and helpful. Thank you!

Econo lodge was quiet, clean, and the beds were VERY comfortable, which is saying alot, as l have three types of arthritis. I slept like a baby.
My luggage got delayed, and l went to stay with a relative. My luggage got delivered four days later, and econo lodge owners let me have it delivered there.
Super nice people and great food at their restaurant, Chatter's.
I definitely recommend staying here! Close enough to walk to several restaurants and attractions.

Price to Quality not Terrible. Have a nice little walk to Tims and a very small roundabout park in the middle of Newcastle. Didnt really hear other in the motel aor traffic outside. Most likely had a face lift during covid as the outside has been update some what recently. Room aren't bad either. Clean, Bed was decent.
For what's giving the price shouldn't be increasing, but we seem to be living in times of high prices for everything.

Nous avons été vraiment surpris par cet hôtel. Il n'est vraiment pas cher. C'est très propre, le personnel est très gentil et parle français un peu. Il est super bien situé en ville et certaines chambres ont une vue sur la rivière, ce que nous avions. Pas besoin prendre la voiture pour aller manger car il y a des restaurants proche.

Everything was great, but they didn't leave any coffee in my room, I had to ask for it. And it was not good for them to try to enter the room without informing them. The cleaning was very good. All the staff were very helpful.

Always come to this establishment with me and my fishing buddies as it's close to the dock, price is also very affordable.

What a bad place to stay! Not only is the staff rude, they also cancel rooms for no reason!

The groomsmen and groom with assorted family guest went to check in on the day before the wedding, when the beat man asked for an early check in. The hotel front desk counter kicked him out of the hotel, and told him that all the rooms for the wedding was cancelled. The brother of the groom had to beg the front desk guy to let everyone still stay.
He was reluctant but with no other hotel options he had no choice.

The night of the wedding was a bust!
After the bride and groom returned back to their room the front desk guy came and told them they were getting noise complaints which was not the case. They were not even being loud. Then the bride has mentioned being a travel agent and she would not be recommending the hotel to anyone nor using the hotel again. About 10 minutes later, the front desk guy said okay you guys can leave. He said he was calling the cops. The cop was actually right down the street as another guest was also getting kicked out. The bride talked to the cop and he said although he did not think it was justified to kick the bride and groom out they had to leave as it was the owners property. The bride and groom had drinks and no where to stay.

I would not recommend using this hotel or even think of staying there. The owner is beyond rude and kicks people out willie Nellie.

Stay away people!

The host is warm, friendly and welcoming. Easy access to my room. Very clean. Spacious. Balcony to chill on. Close to waterfront boardwalk and activities that were held there. Short walk from historic markers and parks. Rooms are quiet and restful after days of adventuring.

The guy at the reception dosent speak French. Also I saw the price on internet in the morning and i arrived 1 1/2 h later and they changed the price (apparently). He never want to reduce the price. We didn’t like his attitude. Anyway this hotel doesn’t worth th asking price. The area is not very interesting.

After a long journey from Ontario we were tired. The location of this accommodation was perfect.

Staff was friendly and helpful rooms were clean and walking distance to pretty much everything you need

Dude at the front desk was very nice… I feel for him…

Stayed four nights.

No milk for cereal

Sheets not change in that time frame

Half the time no hot water showers

Blood on floor not cleaned

Mold scent everywhere

Caged windows!

Hair dryer worked only half the time

Fridge way too cold. Froze our cheese

Alarm clock randomly went off at 5: 50 twice!

It is very cold in the corridors, the rooms are cozy, clean, there is cable TV.small refrigerator, coffee maker.
