Toujours un service exceptionnel à chaque fois (et c’est notre clinique depuis déjà plus de 15 ans)! Service professionnel, mais aussi toujours respectueux et amical, comme une belle grosse famille, même en des moments plus difficiles. Nous avons eu besoin d’endormir notre chienne de 12 ans en 2022 et nous nous sommes sentis très bien entourés. On a prit le temps de tout nous expliquer, calmement et nous donnant autant de temps qu’on le voulait pour toutes les étapes du processus et on nous laissant tranquille avec notre chienne pour ses derniers moments. Maintenant, notre nouvelle chienne est aussi patiente de la clinique et vient tout juste d’avoir son opération de stérilisation et encore une fois, ils ont peut le temps de tout nous expliquer avant et après, en prenant le temps de répondre à nos questions, sans qu’on se sentent pressés. Ils ont appelés rapidement avec une mise à jour aussi dès que l’opération était terminée, ce qui était aussi très apprécié. Une excellente clinique avec d’excellents employés!

Miss Daisy had a recheck for her eye issues with Dr Hobbs yesterday. We were very pleased the ointment that was prescribed previous was working wonderfully! We both love the kindness and expertise shown by Dr Hobbs. We have been coming to Elmwood Vet for 8 yrs and highly recommend Thank you

Been going there for years love the staff and the service they've been good to my fur babies

We moved to the area and have been bringing our dogs to Elmwood for about a year. Recently we came into your office to put down our beloved old girl, Honey. A heartbreaking event, which was made worse by your staff and we so regret trusting you to take care of our precious dog in her final moments. The techs did not handle our dog with competence or compassion, their giggly, upbeat demeanor was at odds with the situation and the information they provided regarding what to expect, was incorrect. Our dog did not become more sedated, calm or relieved of pain after her initial shot as promised. Instead she became distressed and freaked out, especially when placed in a choke hold while the techs bumbled their way through a painful IV placement. In big ways and little ways (like pouring cold alcohol on my dogs legs instead of using a gauze pad or better yet, skipping the alcohol all together) your staff demonstrated a lack of caring and consideration. The vet who gave the final injection also was lacking in compassion, she was completely out of touch.
We expected the vet to simply listen to the dogs heart and say softly ”she’s gone” or something like that. This vet said loudly
"Yup, I don’t hear a thing. Now I’ll place pressure on her eyeball - you might want to look away” We were crying and slow to react, so we didn’t look away. She then continued to press on the eyeball and say “See? No reaction! ”
We were stunned, it was like watching an episode of The Simpsons.
We were then left with our dog, no one came back to check on us or take her away. We eventually left the room with her just lying on the floor… who knows for how long.
The whole thing from start to finish was horrific. We expected you to handle our pet the same way you would handle our child. We can’t make peace with the panic, pain and distress she felt. I feel like I betrayed her trust. Putting down a pet is always difficult and so very sad, but you ensured that it was completely awful for all involved, mostly our sweet dog.

We will certainly not be trusting you with the continued care of our 2 remaining dogs.

Very caring staff! Appointment was on time; vet tech and veterinarian took time to listen to us, and examine our dog, who suffers with chronic ear issues. Provided us with options, and quotes that were fully explained. Will definitely recommend!

I have been bringing all of my pets to Elmwood Vet for many years now and have always had great experiences with the staff there. We have 3 cats and a dog and I bring them in routinely for vaccines and yearly exams. We primarily deal with Dr. Robinson who is one of the best veterinarians I've had the pleasure of working with. She is always very thorough with her examinations and ensures she keeps me informed and gives me all the details, one thing she does that I appreciate is she will run through every different option and then explain to me the why's and why nots of the decision that we make. It is always a plan between her and I rather than her just telling me what to do. The VAs and VTs are all truly wonderful and are great at their job. I always feel welcomed when I come in and the environment is very warm and welcoming, I really can't say enough good things haha! I would 100 percent recommend going to Elmwood Vet if you're thinking about switching or if you don't have a vet of your own yet!
Knowing that when I drop my pets off at Elmwood Vet that they're being handled with the utmost care and love is absolutely priceless

Better staffing, ask for nail trim and got rebooked 3 times and was told the trim wassent gonna cost cause they didint had time at last appointment. No note was taking for this from them and was told i have to pay for nail trim.need better shedduling and never fixed the problem. Would never go back.
