First Choice Haircutters

UPDATED 11/27/2023 - I have visited four times and experienced three stylists. Each time I walk in without an appointment and wait very little time, if at all. My cuts are quick and flattering. Amazing service and very affordable. Great advice on styling products. I will return.

My self and my husband regularly choose this salon. Ethan does a great job and finally I found someone who gets my hair colour right!

Not a good haircut for that price. 10min in and out and very uneven men's cut. Nothing special, if not bad. For 30$ men's cut you'd hope for a bit more

I had a wonderful experience at First Choice Haircutters today. Ethan is truly exceptional at what he does! He cut my hair with absolute perfection, and it's clear that he loves his work. What I appreciated the most was that he asked if I liked the haircut, if I wanted more done, or if I wanted to try a different style. That level of attention and care is truly commendable. I should have taken his contact information in case he ever leaves. Highly recommended!

Julie was very gentle with my daughter who is 3.5 years old. She has a sensitive scalp but she didn't cry once. It took longer but she was patient.

A lovely young man named Ethan cut my hair today. He not only gave me a great hair cut but he was very upbeat and complimentary during the visit. He recommended a great product, which he used, and I additionally purchased. It was a nice casual experience, I even loved the music. The rates are competitive with similar salons. Great experience. Make sure to ask for Ethan when you go, he was great! I’m sure they’re all great, everyone in the salon was looking awesome when I left.

I had a terrible experience at the salon. When asked for a hairwash, I was told that the staff did not have time. When I asked for the price of the hairwash, the staff said she did not know. Anyway, she gave me the worst haircut i've ever had. I showed her a picture of a hairstyle with lots of layers and asked for the same, Now my hair looks like it was bitten by an animal, so uneven and just terrible. I would never go back.

I recommended my wife to get a haircut from FC as no appointment was required & seeing that most of the customer reviews were good.
Now i regret it. She asked for layering her hair, as it was long enough. Disappointed to see that her hair has been cut unevenly. Also she showed a picture of what kind haircut she wanted. Feels like the 'hair stylist' gave a haircut, just for the sake of it. The person was not even keen to do a hair wash, it seemed.
I would say i, this is the worst haircut she ever got!

Kammi, I hope I remembered her name correctly was amazing! She gave me a head massage while washing my hair and it made all my stress from a recent catastrophic accident slip away. Her hair cutting skills were amazing and she was very patient with my requests. I wish I lived closer so I could use her again as opposed to just passing through.

Went in for a haircut, no appointment. Julie took me right away as it was early and there was no one waiting. She asked my preferences and followed through, the cut was quick, the style was exactly what I wanted. Would happily return.

I have had Julie the last 2 times I have gone there. She is very knowledgeable and does a great job! I went with a pixie cut this time, and she gave me exactly what I was looking for. I will be requesting her from now on!

I always make an appointment in advance with Jawn. I've been to expensive salons without being satisfied. Jawn always gives me great cuts for half the price. She is very skilled and professional. I highly recommend her.

I had a very nice haircut courtesy of Kimmi (she's the only Asian staff there I believe). She was very professional, very polite and not in a hurry. She asked me what kind of cut I wanted and was really interested on how to make it look good on me. She gave me the best haircut I've had in Fredericton so far. The rest of the staff are quite friendly and polite as well. I highly recommend this place!

Julie did such an excellent job with my hair. I’ve asked for her both times I’ve called to book. I also have the slightest wave, and she recommended this milkshake product to use when I want the curls actually to be there. She was right. When I use that product, it’s like I have curly hair!
