Foster's Home For Dogs

I don't usually take the time to leave a review, but Chris absolutely deserves this shout out and for everyone to know how amazing Foster's Home for Dogs is!
I was very apprehensive about leaving my Great Dane and Beagle with someone. My Great Dane can get nervous in new places or around new people and Chris was skillful and patient in getting him to be trusting and enjoy staying there. He also needs special attention to ensure he doesn't bloat after eating and therefore can't stay at a typical kennel with a set schedule of "eat play sleep". I was never worried when he was staying at Foster's as Chris is able to give each dog individualized care. Always going above and beyond, even offering to make rice to add to his food if they noticed him not eating.
My beagle takes less time to win over so long as you have treats but you could tell it was more than just treats that made her happy to be staying there.
Chris always answers messages super quick, was very flexible when times (or even dates) got switched and is great about sending picture updates so you can always keep an eye on your furry family members.
I cant recommend Foster's enough, absolutely love knowing my pups are safe and loved even when they're not with me

Chris is extremely knowledgeable about dog care and their behaviour. She is 100% committed to the well being of the dogs in her care and I never have a single doubt about leaving our family pet in her care. It is obvious that this is far more than a business to her, it is her passion. She even cares for dogs from a local rescue and helps to rehabilitate them and find them new homes.

I genuinely can't say anything negative about this business. They're kind, professional, and dedicated to providing services that are tailored to the guest (dog). All visiting dogs get exercise and socialization without those hidden fees that pop up at other similar facilities.
Chris genuinely loves her work, and you can tell in the way that she gets to know each dog individually.
She updates with pictures, and makes sure that any issues are dealt with immediately.
You can feel completely at ease leaving your furry best friend with Chris. The facility is safe, clean, and well managed. Can't recommend it highly enough. Fabulous service!

In 2015, we were on our way to PEI. They decided to call us and ruin our trip. We understand that this was a possible emergency. We did not know that the incident that happend would happen. But they called and were very rude. We used them the previous March and they were amazing!
