Freddie's Pizza & Donair

Elmwood location! Took my family on new years last night as it was also my 14th anniversary. Like everything out there it was a bit pricey. In total it was roughly 87 dollars for 2 adults 2 kids, however I did let the kids get what they wanted. Now the food came out and I'm gonna tell ya I'm planning the next trip it was soooo good. The staff was just lively and professional and very respectful. Nit to mention that yes the prices were up a bit but the food was massive we are still eating leftovers. I don't know if hubby tipped but will be tipping double next visit. To the staff at the Elmwood location thank you for a wonderfully tasting anniversary dinner 10/10

Great food, fast & friendly service. Would’ve given 5 stars overall but it is a bit pricey. At least for what I ordered. (Donair bowl). Would go here a lot more often if their pricing was even 20% lower.

Stopped in for fish and chips and was quite impressed the fish was excellent, the fries were one of the best tasting which in my case is a complete complement forsure. The service was pretty good, cleanisnes was great as the bathroom as well, lots of space to sit and enjoy, the price was reasonable and comparable with others. I would really recommend this establishment to friends and family.

I visited this place as a delivery driver. Ample parking lot and dining available.

Looks like a busy location and open late for pizza.

Not a good review. The pizza was covered with a powered flavor and very little sauce. Not happy!

The food at this place was so good! We got the donair combos. Big serving and tasted great. Food was fresh, store was clean, and the staff was very friendly. I plan on making this a regular stop whenever I visit Moncton!

Food was excellent gentleman at the counter was courteous, polite and friendly. We had 2 Donair & 2 Panzerotti, everyone satisfied

Lots of meat and very soft bread. Very large portion for the price. The flavors were excellent and good to the last bite. The staff is very friendly and efficient.

Worst service.went to take skip the dishes order but that lady was so rude who asked me to bring pizza bag.she can also ask polietly.worst way of speaking to person who is coming in your restaurant.

Donair and Garlic finger combo was great. Donairs were very tasty and garlic finger were enjoyed by the kids. Would go again when in the area.

Interesting the concept of donair in NB. In BC and most other places I've eaten donair/shawarma at.have had veges in it. And offered different options for sauces and different toppings to choose from. Giving 3 stars because what i ate was good. But wouldn't go back. Its not the place.its the food. The staff was amazing!

We had the Alfredo Chicken pizza and it was really good. Fresh ingredients and the crust was light and crisp. Definitely met my expectations.

The Donair is excellent, the pizza is very good, and the salads are standard fare. The wait time is usually pretty good, but the menu can be a bit pricey though

No one wanted the Hawain Pizza I got from them after the first bite. I eventually had to bin it.

First time trying the fish and chips. One of the best we've had in a long time. Very good size pieces of fish and you tell that it is not from frozen, but freshly made. Very delicious.

Easily my favorite pizza place. They never skimp on toppings, the sauce is great, and I can count on the pizza being properly cooked, unlike Greco, with just a touch of crispiness throughout. Their fish and chip meal is fantastic as well, with generous portions.
On the phone they recognize my voice and ask in advance if I want hot peppers. Their takeout policy is to put the donair sauce in a separate container. I'm not big on sweet sauce, but i don't even gotta ask, I know it will be on point.
There was one time that they were really late on delivery in Christmas season 2020, maybe their busiest day that year, as the delivery driver said. Writing this review as curiosity finally got the best of me and I finished off the complimentary Xmas bottle of wine they sent me with that order - ah Freddie's, how could I be mad at you?
Reds are hit and miss but this one was delish. Didn't want to drink it, I loved holding onto the bottle to help express how the world *ought* to be - classy. Once in a while, do you ever order takeout, hoping that'll be the *one* good part of an otherwise garbage day? Good food, as unhealthy as the rest of your day requires it to be, made by folks that care about each individual customer, and never cut corners. This year hoping to score 2 Xmas bottles in 2 orders so I only need to try one! Hope yall have started the next batch already. What a great way to promote and show appreciation to regular customers! That it actually ended up tasting great is just extra

The food here is always delicious. Portions are good for the price and the service is the best in town.

Seriously good pizza! Well worth the wait but the walls need decorating it feels a little empty inside! Love the place tho! Its the place of choice for the engineers of University de Moncton it was sold weekly and it was great.

Tried their Halal chicken Shuwarma and Veg Pizza. Servers were aware of halal contents and taste was good also

I ordered a donair plate and you better tell them without cheese or its part of the plate. There is no plate and it is put in a small cardboard box which absorbs the juices of the meal. Imagine then cheese and sause stuck to the box. A plate is aluminum tinfoil about 2 or more inches deep. I asked the manager in the day why were they serving it in a cardboard container. She said that the plate would cut someone and that is why they use it. What a lie! If this was even partially true the plate would be taken off the market years ago. Jacks in shediac serves it in a aluminum tinfoil plate for $9.85.freddies charges $12 or more. When the final cost was rung in at freddies it was almost $18 dollars. At jacks it was almost $11 dollars and it was bigger than freddies. Not pleased with the made up lies for the excuses

Having moved here from a major metropolitan city, it's been next to impossible for me to find pizza of a quality I'm used to. Freddie's delivers! Awesome pizza and at a fair price. I'd like to see them add a topping or two, like cappicollo, but it's still excellent anyways.

I ordered the any 16” pizza, 12” garlic fingers and a pop for $30.99, when we left the store they had a sign by the road (that I didn’t notice on the way in) stating any 16” pizza and 12” garlic fingers for $19.99 + tax. I called them back and asked about the $19.99 deal and the person on the phone said that the pop cancels out the deal. I asked them if I returned the pop can I get my $13.00 (after taxes) back they said no you can’t, even though I only left the store about 2 minutes prior. $13.00 for a pop and rude service, that’s the last time I will go to Freddie’s Pizza.

Always get the best donairs here! And also thank you stapling my bag shut, I just fell on the ice and my donair was safe and sound inside my sealed bag, so happy right now.

Great service and delicious food! We had a last minute order for a large staff on a storm day. We were told it would be 1 - 1 1/2 hours (which was reasonable) however I was very surprised when it was delivered within 45 minutes! Will definitely order again, our staff hasn't stopped raving about how good it was since!

This is a Moncton must, the donairs are awesome and the best fish and chips I have had. Great family service!

I tried the shawarma plate. Very tasty and filling. Wish they had a rice or taboule option instead of fries.

Maybe the best Donair I have had since the late 90's when KOD was killing it in Fredericton. I love that you get your sauce on the side and you can add what you need. Try the small the large will put you in a serious food coma:)
