I was driving (not directly to but close to) home hardware when I literally almost got killed by a company Home hardware truck driver. She was a woman with short hair and swerved off quickly after the innocent occurred. I had to run into the ditch and the person in the car behind me saw everything so they got out to see if my car was okay. Just a scratch, but I did not catch the license plate. When I called the store I was further upset when I received NO help in this incredibly dangerous situation as whomever I was speaking with over there was trying to convince me that it was not an employee, and it was actually a rented car being driven by a customer. That is both untrue and unbelievable This was extremely inappropriate and almost pushed me to sue this store considering the help I received after the fact. Will never step foot in there again knowing who may work there.

I picked out a colour card and a gallon of tintable semi gloss white paint. The paint guy told me that it can't be tinted semi gloss.then told me it had to be eggshell paint for that colour. Or I could get that colour in semi gloss if I bought a more expensive better quality paint. Not the cheap contractors paint they use for in apartments. I asked why it couldn't be done and his response was the computer won't let me do it. When I told him I had it made last week at the home hardware south side. He very offended. He began ranting they have nothing to do with them.different owners.doesn't know how they run their business. I had no idea there is a home hardware war going on between northside and Southside. He quickly jumped to I'm not arguing arguing with you. Then kept referring to me as Sir. In a condescending way. I was not being rude or argumentative. I will never spend a penny in that place again. It was Tuesday the 28th at 5 pm.

As in my prior experiences with HH in Moncton and Riverview, the Main St.location in Fredericton is no exception. Every visit is always a success, very friendly and knowledgeable customer service. Staff are always ready and happy to assist sharing their knowledge on products and their use (like paint most recently) — I am never disappointed but always satisfied with my visits here. Thank you, carry on.

These folks really believe in mask mandates. I have medical condition and cannot wear cloth on my face yet they called the police on me and banned me from the store. I will not return.

I'm not on this side of the river very much. But anytime I'm in this store it is a great experience!

I have been renovating our house for the past 5 months and the Main Street Home Hardware has been my supplier for a lot of the materials that I've purchased. It was been a great experience. Unlike many other under-staffed 'chain stores', there is always someone available to assist in product selection. Due to the extensive amount of materials I purchased there, they gave me a contractor discount on the materials I bought. This place has a great staff. They are attentive and very knowledgeable in the products that they sell.

First and last time there. Nothing listed as in stock on the website is actually in store. Why have a sale and bother with a flyer if you're going to have nothing but empty shelves?

Friendly staff and great service. Went in to get paint samples; staff offered help in type of paint, accessories, etc.

Find it a bit pricey. Northside is better.more staff and more helpful. And more friendly on the Northside. They are privately owned. Perhaps that has something to do with it.

I really want to shop here because the staff is great, but their hours are very restrictive and they don't have the selection. They sell it but you have to order it in frequently.

Friendly knowledgeable staff. Trustworthy. Good selection of hardware needs as well as a great selection of lumber and metal roofing
