Purchase process with Paul 10/10. However, my used 4runner was having issues a couple days after purchase. Contacted my salesman and was told I could get it repaired at a local Toyota dealer and that they will cover the 437$ repair costs. Well 5 weeks later with countless emails & voicemails I had to contact them through their facebook page for them to answer me (I know, very unprofessional). I was then told that the invoice was sent for processing. Two weeks later… nothing. I had to go back to facebook for them to tell me that it is being processed and that I should contact them by email for ‘’quick responses’’.

‘’Here at Fredericton Hyundai, you come to #ExpectTheBest’’ is what their auto-reply message says.

If this was their best, I would hate to be the person that does not get their ‘’best’’ service. Will not be doing business with them again.

The finance guy Steve is the worst. He harrased us for over 2 weeks to get us to sign paperwork, which we already completed in his office at the time of purchase. Numerous calls and texts and what not over a long weekend. Then he said there's one page missing so we have to do it again. And then again a week later. So we signed the paperwork thrice at this point and I still don't know why.

He is impatient and you get the vibe that he's hiding something and hoping he doesn't get caught. Super unprofessional and just a liar. He has such an air about him. So much for not even being able to do his work right the first time.

The salesperson, Jonathan, however was really sweet and helped us.

Unfortunately, I didn't have much luck working with this location. When I began looking for a Hybrid or EV a few months back I spoke to a sales person who said he had one coming in and would contact me when it arrived. I was never contacted, and I can confirm the vehicle did arrive because I spotted it driving by after it did and stopped into view it. I decided at that point that it wasn't the one for me and let the salesman who helped me that day know I would keep an eye and come back around.

The location finally did get a vehicle I was very interested in and ready to purchase, but first I was told it was being demoed and I couldn't view it for a few days. The salesman said he'd call me when it came back. I told him I would come in that day to value my trade though so that we had all of our ducks in a row. I brought the car in and was told I would be contacted with the value. Three days later, after no contact, I called the dealership and left a message for the salesman to call me back. He did not call me to discuss, but instead emailed me, stating it was there and provided me with their offer. They offered me $2,500 less on the trade than two of their competitors. When I asked if they could match I did not receive a response and had to send a second email requesting a response after two hours passed. It was disappointing; I had assumed as a Hyundai dealership they'd give the best value on a Hyundai trade in, but it wasn't the case and I had to take my business elsewhere. After the lack of communication and professionalism of the process of dealing with this location I wouldn't recommend them.

There is a saying that sometimes people don't get it right, but they have a chance to make it right- and that they did (Fredericton Hyundai). This was a recent experience that our family had in a Hyundai vehicle problem. Financial Manager, Steve Webster made it right recognizing the issue and situation listening, identifying the problem, and then sprung into action immediately. He kept those involved informed and aware of next steps to an eventual positive resolution on our end. It's a win-win mentality that he has and the dealership came through recognizing and valuing a customer who needed to be heard, responsibility taken, and action taken. With sincere thanks. Took a Santa Fe in for a new engine, took 6 weeks to get the car back, then realized they left parts off, car has been sitting for months because it's not drivable, decide after talking to Hyundai Fredericton, Hyundai Canada & the better business bureau to just take it to another garage & pay to have it finished but the car doesn't even go into gear so now I have to pay a $380 dollar tow to even get it to a garage.
Been running Hyundais since 11 years ago, I'll never buy one again and will recommend to everyone never to touch them.

Worst company/dealership ever. Engine has been making an awful noise. When we called they said they'd do a diagnostic check, and if they determined it was the defective engine issue, that they would replace the engine under the warranty. Our car is ten years old, but they did not check beforehand if the car was covered under the warranty. They did the diagnostic check, determined that the car has a defective engine, but said they will not fix it because the car is 10 years old and the warranty ended a few months ago. And we had to wait one week and pay $160 to get the following diagnosis: "Yes, the engine is defective, but we won't fix it. Also, the car is undriveable and may catch fire. See ya. "

Review based on a visit to them in August 2023. It’s ironic that the sign outside says “don’t overpay for a Hyundai, new vehicles in stock” because when you go inside it turns out that the only way they’ll allow you to purchase a new in stock vehicle is if you take one of their expensive extended warranties (I.e. Overpay). Sales rep was very clear that no warranty = no vehicle and that if I didn’t take the vehicle it wouldn’t matter because someone else would. Leaving the employee unnamed as I otherwise found them to be helpful and I am instead under the impression that this practice came from the sales manager but as a result I will never consider purchasing from this dealership in future based on their sales practices.

DONT GO HERE IF YOU WANT POLITE SERVICE OR A REASONABLE PRICE ON ALIGNEMENT (GO TO HONDA THEY DO IT FOR 98.95$ INSTEAD OF 119.95$ HERE) Had originally left a 5 star review a year ago but came back to change it to a 1 star.

I had to call back to get info on the work they did on my car 1yr ago. The receptionist transferred me 2 times to a voicemail without listening why I was calling. The 3rd time I had to be rude because she clearly was not going to help otherwise. She finally asked for the relevant info and booked a callback.

Sandra from service bookings called me back. Asked for the same info I gave the receptionist and still could not find my file. She then asked for the VIN and told me they had my vehicle under à name I've never heard of. At that point I was understandably very frustrated (why do I need 4 calls to get such simple info?). When I voiced my frustration, the lady cut me off to tell me not to cut her off. I tried to explain to her this was my 4th call and why I was so frustrated and instead of customer service like "yes I understand your frustration and you shouldn't need 4 calls for this but bear with me " or something along those lines, she straight up hung up on me without a warning.

Worst customer service I've had in a long time.

Had my car for three hours to go "yup [this part] is broken. " Didn't order the part, didn't want to hold onto it, and advised me at closing that I had 30 minutes to pickup my vehicle. I guess there was a question if warranty would cover the repair, but like.fix it? Call me to get authorized to fix it? Give me a loaner? Fix it.

Lack of communication is a red flag for bad service.

They didn't even change the oil in that 3 hours as originally ordered.

Also, the service dept is in the back and the reception was less than cordial in informing that to me when I asked.

Stop in there yesterday to pick up some tires they were storing for me. Tires were waiting when we got there. My car play had stopped working and I mentioned this to the woman in the service bay. They got Nevin to come out and help. He needed to reboot the system, but I left with car play working! Fanstastic experience!

My wife bought her vehicle here after trading in her Hyundai Tucson 2018 model, she opted for a 2 door Jeep they had on sale. After a bit of time owning it she told me several times she missed the room for cargo in her previous tucson, so she traded in her jeep for a 21 Tucson and is very happy with her decision yet again. Only 1 delay but it was looked after by the staff at Fredericton Hyundai and its been smoothe sailing every since.

The most expensive oil change I've ever had was here. Also had to come back for a tire replacement, they ordered it and let me know when it was in. Guy on the phone told me to come in at 10am. Showed up at
10am, said I had an appointment, he told me that it's not an appointment, he just said to come for 10am (?). I then proceeded to wait for very nearly 3 hours for a single tire to get changed. It was a low profile tire so perhaps they take a little longer but 2 hours 45 mins is a lot of time for one tire. The only explanation is that my car wasn't seen right away because I didn't have an "appointment", I just showed up at the time we agreed on on the phone, which while it sounds like an appointment, apparently is not. Also they left garbage in my car when they have a sign that says they return it cleaner

We have had a service issue that we had brought to Fredericton Hyundai’s attention in October of 2021 - we did not hear anything back regarding the part we had ordered so in the new year I had phoned and followed up to which the Service centre told me my work order was never processed and the person handling that specific work order is no longer with the company. At that point, the Service centre said it would be taken care of immediately and would be ready within two weeks and I specifically asked “Do I need to call to follow up, or will someone phone me or my spouse when it’s ready? ” and I was told that I had nothing to worry about and that I would be contacted. It’s now April 2022 and I have not heard anything or been able to get in contact with the Service centre. They have taken my spouse’s name and number promising a call back and which we have still heard nothing.

I am in the unfortunate possession of a 2015 Hyundai that is under recall. I have never in all of my life experienced such poor service. To say that I have been given the run-around and left without a vehicle for almost a month is ridiculous to say the least. I will never purchase another vehicle from Hyundai. If you can't provide proper care and service for your customers, how can you expect them to give you their business? I work in one community and live in another. Manufacturer recall is not a customer concern, nor should it be a customer inconvenience. I was told to "figure it out", "bum rides", "ask someone if they have a spare car that I can borrow" as a few possible solutions. No loaner or rental were available as there were none available and my request was "not approved" by Hyundai Canada.
It would be wonderful if the left hand could know what right hand is doing. Calling the Fredericton location was as equally frustrating where I got bounced around from person to person. No one really seemed to be able to provide answers that didn't require "checking into" or "making inquiries and calling me back". I cannot wait for my car to be fixed, hopefully by end of day today and that will conclude my business with this company. I will continue taking my car to Coast Tire on Prospect Street where the staff know what is going on, can do the work in a timely manner, and never try to give me the run around.

Got a 2022 Elantra Essential package with a 6 speed manual transmission. Part of the plan I selected give me the option for a new TV, or winter tires.
I went to Hyundai after visiting the local Toyota dealership. No sales rep came out to talk to me, so I went to the next car dealership I was looking at which was Hyundai. It also helped that Hyundai had a lot of cars in stock at the time of my visit, so lots to pick from.
Despite being short staffed, they were very helpful and courteous. There is a good chance I'll buy from them again.

My name is Rosalie and I had the pleasure of meeting Dayne Dunn the other day when I brought my 2014 Santa Fe Sport in for recall. I could not believe the service I received. They took a video and did a free inspection service to make sure my car was safe. I was able to view and see all the problems (air filters, tires, and loose sway bar link, breaks) and everything was was explained out to me. (But not like how people usually talk to women about cars.they didn't just assume because I was a woman that I wasn't mechanically inclined. I didn't feel like I was a 2 year old lol) that impressed me right there. My service advisor went above and beyond to help me make the right calls for my vehicle. (Including getting me a taxi to the mall so I didn't have to wait there all day!) Awesome experience and I will definitely be back.

Just bought a Kia Rio LX+ for a killer deal. It was a really smooth experience and Michael Keddy was fantastic, honest, and not pushy at all. He made sure I got a car for my needs. Really unhappy with the service we received from fredericton hyundai. We were under the impression that our Tucson needed to be reprogrammed as the immobilizer icon was on and it wouldn't start. We had it towed there. They gave us a paper after we paid the 60+ dollars for a diagnostic check that told us that it was the starter (that was just replaced a few months ago) saying it would cost us 653.00. That did not sound right so we had it towed to a different shop. That shop plugged in a disconnected wire.thats it and it started and ran with no other issues. I can not even imagine that hyundai would miss such an easy fix. The other shop did not charge us a thing, not even the diagnostic check. I just can't imagine we almost spent nearly 700.00 for absolutely nothing not including the towing cost for the second opinion. Unreal.

Had a 0930am appointment one day and car didn't go in till 1100, was done a 2: 30, was a software recall, shouldn't have taken that long. Ordered new rims, tires and tpms months ago, called several times and still not installed like dealer mentioned they would do. I have since ordered rims and tires from Costco with no hassle what so ever, Fredericton Hyundai dealer obviously does not care that Ive bought 3 vehicles from their dealer, very disappointed on their customer service.

Our daughter brings her car in to replace 1 part. They present her with a list of "needed" repairs equalling $2k. We get a 2nd opinion, everything fine. Dissapointed to say the least.

Danial, Service Advisor is one of the best service advisors I've encountered. Her, and her staff, service your vehicle as if it's their own - only better! I'll definitely be back for all my maintenance/repair needs. It's better to keep your vehicle all original parts; better trade-in/resale value in the long run.

Peter Girouard, Steve Webster and Jason Kelly were all really great with us and made our recent purchase a refreshing experience. Everything was really clear and there was no pressure, confusing language or up-selling of any kind. They actually went above and beyond and threw in extras, gave us a really reasonable price for our trade in without having to haggle which was a pleasant surprise. Honestly the best experience I've ever had in a dealership. I bought my first vehicle there yesterday and can't say enough wonderful the staff were - Paul, the sales team member we dealt with was so kind and helpful. Just avoid yourself a lot of stress and bring your car somewhere else to be serviced. Had my car's inspection done there at the end of January and within a week my car was basically not drivable on the highway because as soon as I touched the brakes the whole car shook badly and wobbled. I finally brought it in to them because when I was getting my inspection done I also had a brake service done and was told that they could replace my rotors or service them. I chose to service them and save a little money not knowing that I would be paying hundreds or dollars for them to make my car worse, I also find it fishy that all of a sudden my car was so bad when braking after its "service. " Today the service manager first told me that you can't service a rotor and then when it said that "rotors were serviced" on my previous bill he then changed his mind and said that the rear rotors were serviced. But now all my rotors need to be replaced. I have worked in customer service for many years and you won't find it here. I love my car and was going to upgrade to the new Kona electric next year but now I'm looking at the hybrid Rav4 (congrats Toyota you just got a very loyal customer!)

Super nice dude who put genuine human effort into helping me, 10/10 to him. Lots more positive I could say about the financing and automotive bay but seeing is believing. Staff was courteous and tried to accommodate my schedule. (I was dropping off my car on my lunch break and picking it up after work). I also appreciated the person in the service department that explained my bill.

I ranked four stars - and not five - because the shuttle was a bit slow for both pick up and drop off. It took the taxi 18 minutes to arrive during lunch and I waited 26 minutes for the shuttle to pick me up after work (from the regent mall).

I used the specific times to allow you to make your own decisions.

I bought my first new car from them, in August.and It was a huge mistake! I love my new car but the customer service is absolutely terrible. Once they have your money they don’t care about you, they will lie right to your face, and they will tell an existing customer that they don’t have time to see them to fix a mistake that they made. One of my biggest problems with them was that when I went in to get a mistake they made fixed they wouldn’t make time for me but when someone else (a man) went in to try to fix it for me they made time for him and did fix the problem. If I ever want a Hyundai again I will make the drive to another dealership to avoid dealing with these people again.

Stopped in highly considering a trade in on the new Palasade, but wasn't spoken to except when I said hello. We sat in the showroom car, looked everywhere in it and really explored it but walked out without any staff interest. Disappointing to say the least.

In reply to your reply - we weren't taken seriously and don't intend to return. We are taking our business elsewhere, as we never shopped Hyundai before anyway. Was just considering to. Also your service department seems to have ample complaints on here.

I tried calling multiple times and left many messages to the service department due to my signal lights not working. Two months later still no response or call backs. I went to the Hyundai in moncton instead. Way better service and they actually answer the phone/call you back.

A great dealership. They took the time to get the car and financing plan that fit our needs. We never felt pressured or rushed. We love the car and the service. Thanks Peter and Jason!

The worst service I've ever experienced. Went in for just an oil change and was told it would take about an hour. I actually had to wait two hours for my car to be ready. Two hours for a just an oil change! Terrible, ridiculously slow service. Will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

I walked in and there they are, they aim to please, so nice, made me feel great! Buying a car can be a little nerve wracking, but they made sure I understood everything and it was all good. Thanks again Fredericton Hyundai!
