Only of the best places in Fredericton to go for a walk. Great view of North as well as south side of Fredericton.

Great views, good exercise, friendly faces crossing every day. I am happy to live so close to this Fredericton landmark.

Free parking on Sunday! Good sunny weather when I came. Beautiful place to walk. A lot of people biked through the bridge. Relaxing view from both sides of the bridge.

Walking across the bridge at Sunset from Picaroons is likely one of the most romantic places on the east coast.

Beautiful to watch the sunset. Bring a coffee and enjoy the nice calm walk.

Great place for a scenic walk. Nice to stop along the bridge and look down at the water or up at the birds. Great historical bridge as well. Very enjoyable experience. A great place to take a first date or a walk with significant other to get out of the house. Also, the bridge connects to many of the interconnecting trail systems of Fredericton. One good idea if your a jogger is to run the two bridges. It consists of running from either Westmoreland Street Bridge to Train Bridge and back, or vice versa. Also great for photography or running laps to and fro. Hands down enjoyable experience.

Always enjoy walking this bridge. My grandfather volunteered in help making this trail, so its special to me. Only issue is some bicyclist are rude or in the masses. I dont mind sharing the way, but it is both ways in sharing.

We have suggested in solar panels to help with lighting. We will see

A beautiful walk or bike ride across the wide river. I've always parked on one side and had a beer on the other to compensate for the calorie loss. Looks like the trail extends far further, though, and one day I'll explore!

A great walk over the St. John River! Beautiful view and nice breeze. Just watch out for cyclists, many do not use their bells to warn, I almost stepped into the path of a biker. Good family activity!

Loved the walk with my family and we heard the ice breaking underneath. That was an interesting sound when you've never heard it before

It is a lovely and well lit walk day or night. The bridge is about 500 metres across and you get great views of Fredricton at night. The photo is taken from the middle of the bridge.

Must see. Piceroons is on the other side. This is a must. Excellent food and drinks. Superb service. Great atmosphere.

Lovely bridge for pedestrians! Great views of the St. John River and downtown Fredericton. It connects the busier part of Fredericton with the laid-back side.the slower pace side is across the river. Picaroon's restaurant is the first place you see once you cross the bridge - it's like a pleasant reward for crossing the bridge.

NB day.listened to a eclectic band smashed with various instruments called Land of Lions while munching on some delicious ice cream, next to the water.

One of my favorite places to walk. Offer some of the best views of the sunset and sunrise in the city.

Probably the most iconic scenery in all of Fredericton. The walking bridge has some nice views of the river and connects the downtown area to Fredericton's North side. On both sides of the bridge you have great spots for beer, food, or a nice patio. On the Northside you have Picaroons and a great little park, and on the south side you have the downtown area with all of its breweries and restaurants. The bridge is also well connected to all of Fredericton's walking trails so you can get to it on foot from pretty much anywhere in the city.

I wanted to wear a mask to beat The Cove but the freezing rain was so much that it froze to my face and I had to have it surgically removed.

Excellent component of the Fredericton walking trail network. Bridge repairs and upgrades are nearly completed. Terrific job.

It's hard to imagine this walking bridge is over 100 years old.

Though the trains may be long gone, the constant pitter patter of human and dog feet and the clickety clack of bicycle wheels give this old girl constant attention.

The views across the river are beautiful.

Quite a long bridge, that offers up stunning views of the Saint John River. It's also been newly renovated so it's even better than before. By far the best way to get to the North Side if you don't have a car.
