Fundy Rocks Motel

Everything about the motel was great the staff, the owner, the resteraunt. The room was musty smelling and also the towels even though they were freshly washes. It may have been something to do with the water. Plus, the bed was absolutely not comfortable. Other than that, the motel itself is great

I was very disappointed for this one. The rooms were dated, not clean, and just outright gungy looking. The paint was peeling in the bathroom and the main room. Not to mention the Wifi was brutal. 1/5 for this one, if you can. Highly recommend you avoid and find somewhere closer to Moncton.

Der Platz war ohne Strom, Wasser und Entsorgung, nicht zu empfehlen! Die Duschen waren verschmutzt und in einer Hütte sehr dreckig untergebracht.

Worst Motel Ever
This is the worst motel my family and I have EVER visited. A old man, sitting comfortably in his office, staring at a line of people, who were WAITING 10 minutes for his help. He was unhelpful and when asked a question, “Do you have any pictures of the rooms? ”, he then replied with, “No.you can go find another motel for all I care. Goodbye! ” Left immediately! He then proceeded to give the rudest stare. Don’t recommend at all.

I had to cancel this booking because my daughter came down with covid. They wouldn't even give me a partial refund, and this after multiple attempts at contacting them by phone and email. They didn't reply to any of my messages.

Avoid if possible. This motel looks great as you drive up, but inside is not so great. The room we were in had squashed mosquitoes all over the walls, dead bugs hanging from the ceilings. Someone had left their dirty underwear behind, a clear sign the rooms are very poorly cleaned between guests. The toilet handle broke off when we flushed, the manager came and fixed it and the next time we flushed it broke again. The restaurant was closed, no explanation…just told us nope, it’s closed.
We went closer to Hopewell Rocks and that motel had a lovely dinner menu, food was good, service was friendly. If you have a choice, I would recommend staying there and avoid Fundy Rocks.

The room was very dirty, the walls had a lot of stains, there were a few cobwebs around, I saw a couple insects crawling on the floor, it smelled like mold and so many mosquitoes! The toilet was broken too and seemed to leak on the bathroom floor, overall I just cannot recommend this motel to anyone.

Clean rooms. Very helpful and friendly owner. Short drive to the Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park. Would definitely recommend.

Website shows $145 -$195 a night on peak season for a cottage. The main office tried to charge $260/night. When asked why the difference, and his response was "I don't care what the website says, the rate is $260". Extremely rude!

This was…convenient. The rooms were dirty. Walls covered in dead mosquitoes (they are terrible at night around here!). The do it yourself repairs (like new caulking) was terrible. We’re still laughing about the water heater in the room. Rooms were furnished with patio furniture. The gift shop had adult diapers sold individually.

My husband and I had a great stay at the last minute for 4 nights while in town for a wedding.
It is a great little spot and so beautiful are the surroundings.
Keep in mind you are only going to get what you pay for. It is clean, secure and has the basics. Nothing fancy. Basic motel but the food from the restaurant is fantastic and the staff are amazing.
Love Albert County for the super sweet people and they keep us coming back!

Staff was great everything else was really poor. Rented a cottage it was far from clean and had ants, So moved to a room in the motel the room had six deer flies in it had to kill them off room had a dog urine smell. The cottage cost more but didn't get any refund on the difference

We selected this location because of the cabins, what a great family bonding experience opportunity. Not to be. The cabin key didn't work so I had to hike back to the office for a new one. The door screen was torn and full of needles. The room was filthy, there was mold on the wall, rust in and on the stove and oven, old food (ice cream we think) in the freezer and smeared on the fridge handle, stains and hair on the bed sheets, stained carpet (we think that's where the smell came from). In the Era of Covid-19 we had hoped that hotel owners would have taken the pandemic more seriously to help prevent the spread by properly cleaning the rooms. I wish I could even say that the staff was helpful except anytime we phoned the person answering the phone was unable to help because he was not near the office. I definitely would not recommend staying here. Cheap is cheap, inexpensive is safer than what this place offered.

Just your typical cheap-ish motel. Stayed a night here and explored all day and the evening. Parking could have been better laid out (very tight spots, if you have a truck it'll be a very tight squeeze) The lady at front desk was very informative though, gave us all kinds of ideas of things to do. And the restaurant within the motel had pretty decent food. As a family vacation I will be renting one of the bigger rooms/cottage. We just stayed in a room but they have decent sized cottage like units; one was a big 2 berm unit, where others were split into 2 (mom & dad vacation only sorta room)

Pool looked nice, convenient location. Basic diner food, carpet old/ dirty, ants/ant traps, sheets dirty, bathroom tired and less than clean, TV on fridge.

There is nothing pleasant about this place, its a complete dive, fire place dont work, bathroom fan dont work, lamps dont work, no tv in the room, no tea, carpet and furinture strained, door falling out of the place over priced. Do not stay here!

FRIENDLY STAFF, Catpiss Cabins and Catfood restaurant. Don't believe ANY reviews about food. It is all from a can and poorly prepared. They didn't even try to flavor or make anything palatable.veggies from a can with zero flavor. Box mashed potatoes lacked moisture and you could taste the graininess. Meatloaf tasted like cat food. As far as accommodations go, we were the only Americans who stayed at that part of the property and our room smelled like cat urine. Our neighbors, coincidentally all Canadian, didn't have that problem, we checked. We found two types of air fresheners in our room to confirm that the management knew about this. Unfortunately, we had traveled 600 miles and we couldn't drive any further so we slept in the cat urine. Our room number was 5, please stay away from there. The property has potential but the mold under bathroom sink and the poor food and the urine smell tell me that someone does not care or is unable to care. Very friendly people though. Five stars for service.

We did not stay, just went to the restaurant. It's a lovely place and the server was friendly. For a restaurant located near a major tourist attraction, in the maritimes, you'd think they would serve fresh seafood. Even frozen would have been passable but what they served was so bad I suspect it was cooked in the microwave.

So many things wrong with this horrid place, not excluding false advertising. If I can, I may update this review with a link to the detailed report my sister sent to the Canada Safety Regulations Board (I actually forget the name of the organization) but I won't do that right now. Fortunately we got a full refund.

We now call this place the "Murder Motel. "

The beds are incredibly springy and uncomfortable. And the pillows are all flat. Let's be honest, the reason you stay at a motel is because you need to sleep. If the sleep experience sucks, it's a waste of money. It IS pretty. The people are friendly and there are places to BBQ.

We just experienced pure Maritime hospitality. After waking to a flat tire on Good Friday had a pure anxiety filled moment, but the owner and a patron of the motel restaurant (Fundy Rocks Motel) rallied to get an air pump, pumped up the tire and made a few phone calls. Reached out to their friend Bernard, owner of a local garage who arranged to meet us after church services and open up. He repaired the tire and Had us back on our way in minutes.

Good service, the room was super clean.when we arrive there was no body we call and he came in the night to rent us a room! Really impress

Has options to rent cabins rooms or bring along a camping trailer which you can hook up to electrical sewage and water.

The close location to Hopewell Rocks is the only reason I give it 1 star.

The two bedroom cottage that my family and I stayed in was dirty and had quite a few ants throughout the inside despite there being ant killer sprinkled along the perimeter of the bedrooms. The kitchen was poorly equipped and the dishes and utensils that were there required a very thorough cleaning before use as they were quite disgusting.

The Free Breakfast advertised on both the website and on a sign in front of their parking lot is completely false.
We booked 3 months in advance and when we arrived we were told that only 7 of the 10 cottages included breakfast and unfortunately ours was not one of them. The website states that the motel rooms and all 10 of the cottages included free breakfast for two.

The staff were not polite nor understanding of our concerns.

We stayed at one of the cottages as a road trip and overall, the cottage was rustic and very cute. It came with a kitchen, living room, two bedrooms, and a bathroom. The rooms seemed fairly clean however there were many bugs found. The tub was also somewhat dirty but most likely due to old stains. I found it nice that the workers came in and gave us milk and did a quick clean while we were out. The location was also very close to Hopewell Rocks, which is a beautiful location and only 5 minutes away by drive. The motel also came with wifi but this was very weak. Overall, the experience was nice and comfortable.

Sa sent le renfermé a cause du vieu tapis.resto vieillot correct.mais bouffe assiette du pêcheur PS bon PS de goût le vin maison $38 très mauvais.en plus les verre son sale ainsi que vaisselle.je suis PS difficile habituellement sauf que là c'est trop.sa fait la première fois que je vois tout sa motel.c'est important te le partager.pour PS que sa vous arrive. Sa vaut vraiment PS $125.sa devrait être $30 la nuit

NEVER STAY HERE! If I could give less than one star I sure would for this place. We stayed for 2 nights in cottage 1. The reason our family of 5 chose this motel months ago for our trip across Canada was because of its proximity to Hopewell Rocks and the free breakfast. When we arrived to check in and asked where we went in the morning we were told breakfast wasn’t included because we had booked a cottage. It clearly says on the website under cottage heading that breakfast is included. Also the huge sign outside says FREE BREAKFAST. The cottage is extremely dirty and smelly. The bathroom walls are very gross and covered in water stains and mould. The bedrooms have ant-killer along all walls with dead ants everywhere. There were ants crawling in the bed we slept in and all over our child. The room my hubby and I slept in had a single bunk bed on top of a double which was U shaped and very uncomfortable. Again NEVER STAY HERE!
