Course was in great shape considering the time of year. Play was steady due to a course marshall that was making continuous rounds

I played this course today without any thought of difficulty or shape it was in or anything really. I just wanted to play golf. I just finished playing Kingswood on Tuesday and came away with the impression that it was a nice course. The greens had just been aerated not too long ago so they weren't in the best shape and i believe that if the greens were running true I would have shot better than my 75.
So when I went to play Gage town I had no idea what the course was like or what shape it was in. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. I played from the blue tees and found it quite challenging. Like Kingswood it was my first time playing it and I relied on my playing partners for help.
Not only were the three guys i played with helpful but easy to talk to and were more than helpful with their knowledge. The course itself is not long but has tight fairways and if you miss your spot you will be penalized with the rough and woods as well as water.
The greens are somewhat of an adventure because they have slope and are not easy when the pins are in certain places. At Kingswood I found the fairways easy to hit and the greens big and inviting. At Gagetown you have to be accurate and i found most times i was in scramble mode and thats unusual for me.
I thoroughly enjoyed this course. It wasn't easy at all and every person i met and talked to were friendly and helpful. If you are tired of the same old course in the Fredericton area try this one. Bring your A game and some extra balls if you don't have your accuracy. I shot a 78 with 11 pars and 7 bogeys and I left there thinking i was lucky to shoot that. I had lots of laughs and cursed a lot but it was well worth the 70 bucks for the round and cart. Thanks for reading!

The gage is probably the most relaxed bunch of folks that cater to your every whim. Could not ask for a better bunch of people.

Fairway was cut very long, possibly because it's start of season but still. Fairway was like the rough on most holes.

Need better fairways as well the cost for retired vets is way out of control. For 1800 isn't worth it. If you charge that much the courses needs to be in better shape.

Sorry, as i only have pictures of the curling rink. It is a wonderful place for curling in the winter, and golf in the summer. Love this place!

Room enough for 4 games of curling at thr same time. They have brooms and sliders in the middle. They have a little shop for buying supplies. There's a little canteen that serves food.

Great day for golf but there were a couple holes that shared fairways that caused some traffic to backup.

Experience golf curling and hockey and have a drink at the licensed bar, they also have mini golf, and a canteen in the rink. The facility is not new by any means, but it is well maintained and clean and that's important the rink also has a new heated viewing room which is nice. With public skating offered on week days and on Sundays there is something for everyone.

Great local golf course. For limitations of being built in the middle of the town, the staff do a great job with the course. The small town attitude comes across with the freindly long time members.

This golf course is in spectacular shape and the curling club has the best members and real right knit family atmosphere.

Love the driving range and the practice green. Have yet to try the course, but plan on it soon.
