Gagnon Beach

New owners (again), are nice, prices are, what they are I suppose. Back at our lot for the 12 year plus and this is the 3rd set of owners, they are far better than the last, so far.

Fullll conection, partial, tents kids playgrownd, beach, pool. Nice place long term or short.

Great location, beautiful beach. The washrooms were dark and dated.

Sites needed more gravel on the parking pads due to pooling water.

Plage à couper le souffle, surtout au coucher de soleil. Staff accueillant. Par contre, les terrains de tente n’ont aucune intimité.

I've been a Seasonal Camper at Gagnon Beach for 5 years and the friendships and experiences I have acquired have been amazing. I love seeing my 2 girls thoroughly enjoy themselves.

The beach is great, and safe for children because you have to walk out pretty far to get to deep water.

We all appreciate all the work the owners have put in upgrading the park (electric, playground, etc.).

When you're told to stop jamming low volume music by the property manager, supposedly an hour after quiet time. So you call it quits and go to your camper to sleep and an hour later you can't sleep because of loud talking (people having a good time) close to your site!?

This is are second choice for heaven.
7$ for parking (SHOULD BE FREE but.) We understand why it's a campground a CLEAN campground.
The only down fall is the public/campground bathrooms.
IT'S DIRTY please DON'T GO IN WITHOUT SHOES on EVER, YOU MIGHT COME OUT WITH 12 TOES NOT 10.

Hello, to the owners, you should try to fix the potholes on the road coming in to the park and at the exit gate, they have been there as long as i can remember and getting worse every year, at least put some gravel, thank you

This property is now under new ownership (as of 2021) and you can tell they are looking to improve and grow this campground, for the better! Great beach and your campsite is only a minute (or two) walk away! Dogs are also welcomed on a section of the beach (for you dog lovers out there!)

Long stretch of beach with excellent waves; warm water and dog friendly brimg something for shade protection.

This is a gorgeous spot right on the beach. Well run and a spot on the beach to bring your dogs. We love it

Nous avons adoré notre expérience au Camping Gagnon! Le personnel est accueillant et fait tout pour satisfaire la clientèle. Malgré l'ampleur du camping, l'endroit est tranquille. Très belle plage tout près. Bref, nous y retournerons!

Nice camp ground, visited with friends and they really enjoyed it as well. A little tight for space but probably very normal for most campgrounds.

Très belle plage, propre, voisine de celle des Aboiteaux. Accueil efficace et poli. Terrains sans service OK, pas d'ombre mais gazonné. Toilettes et douches désastreuses: sales, mal éclairées, pas entretenues. À corriger! Particulièrement pour celles près de l'accueil.

The owner needs to retire. Or perhaps resell it to somebody who has a little bit more compassion.

Fabulous campground on an incredible beach. Family run and very well taken care of, this family takes Covid very seriously and the place is well set up. Lots of dogs, lots of kids and a 3 minute walk to the private beach. Other campers were really nice and Cap Pele is fabulous. This is a 10 star!

Ive bin here a few times on service calls through work, and was kindly greeted soon as I pulled in. They were more than helpful helping me sign in and find the customer I was looking for

Beautiful beach. Stayed at Chalets de Sable, nice for a family stay. Beach is right there. Clean sandy beach with clean, clear, warm water.

What a a beautiful place we stopped on our way to PEI intended on staying just the night. <br/>Betty was so helpful in finding us a person to fix our RV and great places to visit while we were their we stayed a extra 4 nights exploring the area. <br/>The washrooms and grounds are very clean and well kept, we were their just after the Hurricane and yes their was a little damage that the staff and some volunteers from the Campground had cleaned up very quickly in a day. <br/>They had to turn off the water for a couple of hours to one of the washrooms for a broken water line. Which they had repaired in a few hours and up and running again. <br/>The whole Campground was not turned off, it was just one of their many bathrooms the 2 guys working on the leak was very informative as when the water would be turned back on. It was only a couple of hours. <br/>They have 4 other washroom buildings that they directed us to so all in all I don’t think <br/>We were put out at all. We were just so glad they were taking over nighters some of the other Campgrounds were so badly damaged that they were not taking any over night guests. <br/>We would highly recommend Gagnon Beach Betty and her staff to all. <br/>The sunsets and the Beach breath taking

The owner Betti is a interior designer they rent trailers and a cottage it was perfect for my wife and I it’s a 5 star room at a very reasonably rate extreamy clean The Beach wow it was so warm and very private they own it so it’s so nice to be able to bring your drinks down to the beach we booked it again for next year we are going to bring some friends that will rent one of their trailers

The lady is a snotty person who seriously needs to not run a campground? I saw this on previous reviews but didn't think it could be that bad
IT IS BAD! Don't go there unless it is a last resort. She charged us more than the passport America website said. And they cut off the water because of a leak in the bathrooms. Who doesn't have a cutoff to isolate a building without turning off the park! I realize you can't control a breakdown but whenever we asked she said don't ask me again. We were out all night. Never a timeframe and never an apology. No rebate either.

People ar Gagnon beach have to be the most friendly and welcoming bunch I've ever met, we're always so happy to come out and play for you guys see you next year have a safe and wonderful fall and winter

Beaux terrains de camping, bien entretenus, à proximité de la plage. Les activités mentionnées sur le site web sont difficiles à repérer (volleyball, etc.) où sont manquantes. Par contre, la dame à la réception est très amicale et prête à répondre aux questions.

We stayed for a week wish we had a lot more time. The owner keeps the place so clean and well kept. The bathrooms are spotless.the Beach is amazing Could walk at night for miles then come back to rest on the beautiful chairs on the viewing deck watching the sun set.
The next morning yoga on the beach free to us campers.
What a zen place I love this place booked to come back in September

Had to pay to drop off my daughter to see a friend for a few hours.then wanted me to pay again to go get her at 7h00pm.need to be more caring

My favorite beach in all New-Brunswick. Beautiful, clean and quiet. Also allowed to bring your dog!

Points possitifs:

1- Camping avec plage vraiment tout près à pieds.

2- Petit patio en bois sur chaque terrain qui arrive devant la roulotte, pour éviter d'avoir les pieds dans le sables ou dans la boue avant d'entrer.

3- Chiens permis en laisse sur la plage en tout temps du côté droit de la passerelle.

4- pas de frais si 1 ou plusieurs chiens

5- les surveillants ne sont pas achalant le soir autour du feu pour le couvre feu, si le bruit est raisonnable.

Points à améliorer:

1- Les gens circulent trop vite dans le rues du camping. Pas de présence de dos d'âne pour contrôler la circulation.

2- Pas de restaurant ou de petite cantine ou kiosque à crème glacé

3- usine de filtration sur le terrain, odeurs de pumpout à tous les jours.

4- présence d'excréments de chiens à plusieurs endroits. Je comprends que c'est la responsabilité du propriétaire du chien de le ramasser, mais le reaponsable du camping devait les ramasser si il en reste.

5- Nous avons reçu un message quelques jours avant la date de notre séjour en ce qui concerne les variations de tention dans le courant électrique et qu'il nous était fortement suggéré de ce prémunir dun dispositif. Nous aurions apprécié d'avoir cette information au moins plus d'une semaine à l'avance pour s'informer des risques possibles et des possibilités.

Sinon nous avons beaucoup de plaisir

Fun camping ground with 2 playgrounds, a bouncing pillow and a great beach. The right side of the beach is dog friendly.

This place is super nice. It is kept very tidy. The beach is the wow factor. For my wife it is very important to have washrooms so clean like here. My kids had fun and played with many other kids who live here all summer. Everyone is so nice and friendly. The campground manager is very helpful. This is our first trip to New Brunswick and if we ever get back here, we are staying at Gagnon Beach. I very highly recommend this campground to anyone.

Pas beaucoup d'ombre pour le camping sans service, les salles de bains sont ok mais les douches payantes et moins propre le soir. Accès direct å la plage avec sable fin les gens du coin sont sympas, å 5 minutes en voiture de Shėdiac.

Pas dit qu'on y retourne pas, mais ne mérite certainement pas plus de deux étoiles.

Les terrains sont très petits. Je suis resté pris dans la boue en reculant ma roulotte. Une seule toilette pour 20-25 site de camping. Aucune piscine pour enfants, adultes seulement. Douche sans pression. Pas vraiment d'accueil. Moyen de paiement louche via paiement interact.

Du point de vue positif, la plage. Elle est superbe, idéale pour de jeunes enfants!

Comme j'ai dit, j'y retournerai peut être, mais ça ne vaut pas les 4.1 étoiles de moyenne. J'imagine qu'ils organisent un concours parmi les résidents qui donnent 5 étoiles.

Camping négligé, gazon pas entretenu espace de campement resonable très belle plage. Les saisonnière neglige leur cité.

What a great find. And the beach is even more spectacular than we had heard. The kids couldn't get enough of the beach and then after dinner on to a very large jumping pillow. We like the fact that it was well supervised. And hubbie and me did have a wee bit of time to sneak off to the adult only swimming pool, a really nice bit of quiet time, just for us.

I should also mention that both management and staff were very friendly and really kept the park neat, tidy and clean.especially the cleanliness of the washrooms. We are definitely looking forward to more visits now that we have found Gagnon Beach.

What a find.stayed a night in the overflow area with the family.gorgeous sand beach and a great safe place for our kids to play. Dog friendly too
