Hardings Point Campground

This campground is located directly across the road from a 24 hour, on-demand, ferry landing. We were camped along the road to and from the ferry. For the most part, the road traffic is quiet, but there were the occasional a$$hats in diesel trucks that needed to race up the hill from the ferry landing at full throttle, day or night. Not the campgrounds' fault, just an FYI. If you are a light sleeper, or have small children, request a site not adjacent to the road.

Be careful! Without warning regardless of first come first serve policy they still charge you 5.75 on your credit card even though you pay cash. Not discussed upon enquiry. Extremely rude man named Paul in side by side. Extremely nice younger man I believe was the owners son. When I phoned regarding 5.00 charge was treated so arrogantly I'll never return. First come first serve means no reservation! So why charge me a reservation fee!

We arrived at Harding Point Campground on 7/22/2023. We were greeted by Hudson, who escorted us to our site. We have a 43 foot class A RV. He guided me into the site perfectly. After setting up I saw the grass was not mown. It was tall. On Tuesday I heard the mower running but not on our site. I called and asked that they mow our site. They didn’t do it. On Friday I called again and spoke to the manager. Told her the grass was knee high, literally. She said it’s been raining a lot and they have not been mowing. I told her yes they were and I asked that they mow our lot. She said “ I guess they didn’t get the message”. Duh. It’s really the only knock I have about the park, other than no wifi.

My husband and I are not familiar with the campgrounds in the area, having been our first time camping in decades, and neither of us natives to the Saint John area. Upon arriving at Hardings Point and describing (without knowing exactly) the tenting experience we’d like to find, their friendly staff directed us to the most beautiful and serene location. It had the feeling of being off grid in nature, with close access to any amenities we may need. Although there are many options of tenting sites to choose from, including electricity/water, waterfront, wilderness, etc, they immediately knew the best spot for us. The people we met were always friendly and the staff greeted us with a smile and were happy to help with anything we needed. Hardings Point is the perfect location for a camping trip that is still close to home. We’ll definitely be booking our stay again… and again…

We are seasonal at Hardings Point, and honestly can't imagine being anywhere else. The park is absolutely beautiful and the people we've met are even better! Absolutely love that we have the option of both beach and pool days.
Can't say enough great things about Hardings Point Campground and their staff!

Love this place! Me and my family have been here every year for a week for the past 4 years now, and it’s my favourite campground. I took away a star due to the parties on the weekend being so long. They can go for as long as close to midnight from what i remember. When i try to sleep, all I hear is the music. Besides that though, it’s amazing. Beautiful Sunsets and Thunderstorms that roll in.
