Used to be great, but now it's just good.

I believe the restaurant was sold to a new owner some time ago, and some of the signature dishes that made this place the hidden gem that it was (eg.: the hwae-dub-bap) are no longer on the menu. In particular, the sauce recipe appears to have changed. The sauce used to be mouth-wateringly world class, but now it's merely good. Comparable to any other decent Korean restaurant.

While the food and the people have changed, the service remains excellent.

The food is absolutely delicious & the service is great, nice and friendly. I really love this kind of restaurant. It's not about the decoration, it's all about the quality of the food, the ingredients prepared with care. Highly recommended!

This place is a whole wonderful experience. I had the beef lunch box and it was exquisitely prepared. Super-pure miso soup, sweet-nuanced pickled side dish, freshly fried dumpling and roll, a crispy potato pancake. And the beef was perfect and tender. Bravo!

Highly recommend! The food and service was excellent. We were visiting Moncton and were looking for a place to have supper on Thursday evening. We were greeted by a very friendly and attentive waiter. We ordered the potato/cheese pancakes for an appetizer. For our main meals, my husband ordered the tonkatsu and I had the beef bulgogi. All were delicious! The meals were served with miso soup and complementary pickles, which were also excellent. We will be back for sure!

Loved the food & the warmth of the place. We even got free ice cream The owners were kind of enough to help us understand the lovely pieces of art that are placed in the restaurant. Do check out the art on the chalkboard in the corner. Even though the neighbourhood is sketchy we hope they remain safe & that their business flourishes & continues to grow.

Always walked by but finally glad we went in. Food was delicious for a great deal got a main and you get miso soup and a free dessert. Very warm and welcoming staff I highly recommend and will be back.

I liked that the store was clean and spacious.
There were cute props so I took a picture with my daughter.
So, the menu came out and I ate it.
It's a Korean restaurant, so it was easy to order.

A very nice restaurant! The food is nice, services being amazing, the staffs are super polite, the area is clean and the atmosphere in the restaurant is comforting.

Firstly you can have a free miso soup and their homemade pickles for appetisers even if you didn’t order it, they just give it to you and the taste of those are absolutely delicious. Next, the price is overall reasonable for how good the food looks and taste- and the portions are reasonable for their price too. I highly recommend their rice cake if you’re in the mood for something spicy and sweet. It is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside coated with Korean spicy sauce and it just tastes wonderful. The other food are nice too and they all taste really, really good. Not too salty or spiced, just the perfect amount of everything.

Also, they have free vanilla ice cream which came to my surprise that it wasn’t just plain vanilla ice cream but rather with a small Oreo cookie on top and chocolate drizzle. This is honestly one of the best restaurants I’ve been to and I would recommend going to it!

*ps, they also have wifi if you need it, the password is shown on the table somewhere! Besides, they also have something to teach you some Korean phases which is really interesting.

Excellent chef, not only is he good lookinghis food very tasty and filling. We totally enjoyed everything. We were very impressed with the pickled veggies. Not in a good part of Moncton but, worth the effort to enjoy some good food.

The staffs were friendly and the food was very delicious. Everything was perfect! I want to visit again next time.

I highly recommend this place. The food here is so good. The rice cake skewers and cheese and potato pancake we had as appetizers were really good and tasty. It's a pretty restaurant with a nice atmosphere.
