Minimal variety of stock on shelves. Service was friendly, but after several attempts to open am accoubt, we gave up on the idea because nobody returned our calls.

A lot of items are not available, but for an island hardware store it is okay, they have a lot of specials that are pretty good!

The store here on grand manan seems to have a problem keeping things in stock, and now it has even less to offer since it went under new management. Plus the source is now gone, its like the store is forcing us to go to other buisnesses to get things.

Being on a small island, supporting local means seeing businesses that are needed thrive and continue to grow and support the community. Unfortunately, since the new ownership, I've continually been disappointed in the lack of materials, the empty shelves, and the lack of brands apart from the most expensive. It's forced my family to rely on other stores and make frequent trips away or shop online.

The state of the store itself is shabby - between the floor tiles creating tripping hazards, the lack of accessible entrance (calling ahead of time in an attempt to get ahold of someone who can let you in through a storeroom in the front), the lack of care about the quality of product and the continual berating of staff (it's not a good shopping experience hearing the owners disrespecting staff, I avoid this store as much as possible.

It's been beyond frustrating to buy wood at premium prices and get low-quality wood with the bark still attached, warped or garbage. They've run over their own stock before (metal roofing) and attempted to sell it at full price.

The only redeeming qualities are staff who are amazing and helpful regardless of their working conditions. They deserve better than working here.

While I hope it doesn't close for the sake of the staff, someone needs to step up and do better. Going to HH is a sure way to put me in a horrible mood because I feel like I'm getting ripped off by a store that refuses to stand behind it's product - it's easier, less expensive and is a better experience altogether to take a 1.5 hour trip away at 7: 30am to go to the mainland.

Help isn't really close to home, to say the least.

Never restocks in a Timely manner, takes months for the most simple items such as electronic connectors, or even something as simple as chicken feed to be restocked or kept in stock for more than a few days which would be a great indicator that it is an item that sells fast and more stock should be ordered so customers wont go online or off island to buy their items, the new owners are slowly driving this store into the ground! Often told "we can order it in" when I go to a store because I want it that day! If I wanted to wait I'd order it myself and get it cheaper and faster than 7 days lol. "Edit" still doesn't restock in a timely manner and no longer stockd alot of items that used to be commonly carried. Worst home hardware in Atlantic Canada now

The recent management has ruined what used to be a great place. There have been countless people who have been refused returns, including myself, when the items had no damage. It really sucks, not just for the island but for the good people that work there.

This store is poorly stocked.here is Hardware items/The Source stock/and furniture, in an area of the main store cordoned off with a piece of lumber attached to some orange plastic fencing. More and more they rely on Costco items. The store layout is also very poor. Outside the fr.doors, the stairs are an invitation to a lawsuit. This store is a black mark against Home Hardware and Grand Manan needs HELP.
