Delicious japchae in an old diner setting? Count me in! This is such a hidden gem for Fredericton.

It's been close to 20 years since last visit. The food was delicious & hot! Owners are very friendly. This restaurant is an institution for a reason; and these owners have truly exceeded my expectations! Definitely make this landmark a place to visit and eat! You won't be disappointed!

Nice little place, generous portions, great service, the place was full when I arrived at 11: 30 am. So, I went for the take out option, wasn't disappointed with a 3 egg western omelet and home fries and buttered toast. Good stuff!

Only two drawbacks. The outside appearance, and no tables, stools at the counter only. But if you want great food and friendly staff.this is the place for you! We found it on maps and were hesitant when we arrived.but this place is a perfect example of " never judge a book by it's cover " our party had burgers, fries and a chicken breast heaped with green peppers and onions. The last was appropriately named " chicken supreme "! All the dishes were excellent and reasonably priced.
We WILL returned on our next trip to Fredericton!

What this place lacks in "fancy", it makes up for in character! The food was delicious and served quickly. It was a treat to eat here!

Ordered takeout, club sandwich and Bibimbap and all was great. Not much room here for dine-in but would do takeout again

Hole in the wall that deserves a lot of appreciation. The couple there are lovely and greet each and every person visiting their restaurant.

Authentic setup that reminds you of a classic American trucker style restaurant from the 80's.

Would recommend dine-in to enjoy the whole experience. You will be dining with others in close quarters as there are not many places. But the food, character of the building and service make up for it:)

If you are in NB and have never been here, well it's now time to visit this diner. This man in the kitchen makes by-far the best Teriyaki chicken and club sandwich I ever had in Canada.

They wear gloves but fail to change them appropriately. Touching surfaces, then handling food. Health and safety will be called on Monday.
The lady who made my sandwhich had gloves that she uses for writing my order. Washing down the dirty counter with a rag. Touching and loading dirty dishes into the dishwasher. Then she made my sandwhich. Not healthy.
I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

If you haven't been here and you love the idea of a Ma and Pa shop, you need to check this place out. Their food is cooked in front of you and it always smells and tastes amazing! They are always smiling and very friendly people! The best breakfast place by far!

What a great place. Every staff member welcomed us with a "good morning" and bid us good day when we left. The food was excellent and was prepared fresh for us.one order at a time! The coffee was freshly ground for every pot.

Not a great group place as there is only counter service but awesome for a few people in a group (1-5). It takes a bit longer to get your order than other restaurants BUT.it is fresh and hot because they only do on order (slip) at a time!

Too bad there isn't an option for 10 out of 5!

Excellent place. I live in Ontario and when I come to Fredericton I eat there everyday. Very nice people and again food is unreal!
