Ordered a burger and the monster grill for take out and the steak was over done and one side burned the burger was over cooked fries were dry would not get food here again

Very poor customer service skills, lack of food portions and menu knowledge. Last time in restaurant was 2013, haven't been back since.

Nachos were good. Mixed drink was good. Stay away from the potato skins. They are over cooked paper thin potatoes with too much cheese cooked to a crisp. Definitely not as advertised.

Chicken honey bowl tastes good. The pasta is too soft overcooked, so is not a dish wish I would eat again there. The staff is very friendly.

Over cooked half of the time especially the wings! They are always difficult to get without being tough and over cooked and always barely any sauce.

Ordered the steak special and although it was good it was not cooked the way I asked and the wait staff although nice was not very attentive and did not not offer drink refills.

Restaurant was cold, service was friendly (however a tad slow). Food overcooked (brown crisp fries & taquitos with burnt ends)

I had the chipotle chicken wrap and salad. It was alright but the wrap was cut in half with only meat all on one side and the other was just the vegetables and no meat. Our waiter wasn’t very friendly and would rather sit in the corner with other staff staring at their cell phones rather then checking if anyone needed anything. A little over priced in my opinion.

First time to Jim's. Great service. Fish and Chips were way over cooked and soaked up the fryer oil. I've read and created a lot of reviews, most positive. Didn't have time to scroll through Jungles reviews before visiting but after reading and visiting I can only assume the owners/managers don't read them or simply don't care. I gave it a 2 for the pleasant young lady waiting our table. You've been warned!

Stopped here for lunch - the only good was server.
French onion soup was just broth - when we asked about cheese and croutons we were told they forgot to add it. They took the soup back and put bread in with cheese on top. The baguette that comes with soup they were out of.
Full breakfast - sausages were so over cooked they could barely be cut.

Restaurant out of napkins, women's washroom had water all over the floor.

Full price was charged for soup! No offer to reduce based on experience.

Last visit to this location and would never recommend.

Steak was fantastic, but the burger my Son ordered was charred beyond recognition. The scallops on my Wife's seafood platter were rotten. The waitress did take $10 off for the scallops so that was great.

Fish n chips were over cooked and water was coming from the fish. Server said it may be from the Fish being frozen. Nachos were so so. Disappointed overall for the price. It's usually pretty good food. Guess it can't be a hit everytime? Wish I could of added pics.

ABSOLUTELY GROSS FOOD WAS OVER COOKED AND SOGGY AND DRY THE DRINKS WERE AWFUL TASTED LIKE CARBONATED WATER NEVER AGAIN.

Very poor experience. We waited 20 minutes before a waitress even came to our table. Other people had come in after us and were served. We won’t be back.

Been there a number of times over the past month.
Food has always been fresh, tasty, flavourful and quick. Staff were always friendly and polite. My kids love it there as well!
My only negative comment is that the staff should stay off their phones, and not fix their hair at the bar where diners can witness this. It won’t stop us from coming back, however perhaps something to mention.

Really do enjoy it there!

It was mediocre. The sangrias were delish, the burger was okay, the fries were terrible. For the price point of the food, not terribly satisfied.
Server was nice, but impersonal.
Not a bad experience, but not a good one either.

Went last night. Service was terrible was treated like an after thought by our waitress. She brought our drinks when (spilled mine) didn’t offer anything to clean it up with. She brought us our app (no plates or napkins). Got our nachos still no plates or napkins. When she went by I asked for plates, she went over to the bar and talked to her co workers for multiple mins. After 15 minutes I got up and asked the hostess for our cheque and a to go container. Very dis satisfied likely won’t be back.

The waitress gave me the wrong order and refused to fix her error claiming she wrote it down so it was obviously my mistake. They were all rude. Overall terrible experience would not reccomend.

Stopped in for lunch while visiting a friend that lives in town. The lunch menu was good and the prices were very reasonable.
Lunch tasted great. I will definitely come back next time I'm in town to try more items on the full menu. There are a lot if Tex-Mex items that looked really good.

Let me take you on a journey through a really bad sit-down experience as I write this from my bathroom 2 mins away from the Jungle Jims we just frequented for supper. It started with hope. After trying another restaurant and witnessesing a remarkably long waiting line, we decided to get fast food on the way home, and spotted Jungle Jim's instead. Why not? Thought we. It was a smaller, more intimate restaurant, and wasn't overly busy. Great! Thought we. After waiting to be seated, waiting for our drinks, and waiting more than 40mins for food, we hadn't even been asked if we wanted a top up of our drinks, which we had both finished. The food finally came; great! Thought we. The plates were hot, and it looked good. Unfortunately the plates were hotter than the food served on them. Both of our dishes were cold. For reference, he had nachos and taquitos with chicken wings, and I had the chicken Alfredo with a side of Caesar salad, and a piece of garlic bread. The so-called "deep-fried" taquitos were very obviously not deep-fried, and the garlic toast was burnt on one side, and was still plain bread on the other (. How is that even possible?) Soggy nachos, and a very watery Caesar salad dressing and Alfredo sauce awaited, and the only reason we ate most of it was because at that point we were starving. Heading up to pay, our bill came to more than $52, for one cold main each, a beer for him, and an iced tea for me. I'm not a person who likes conflict, so I politely asked if there was anyway we could get a discount and I explained the reasons why. She was generous and apologized, but at $40 we both left feeling like we had paid too much. The only reason this Jungle Jims got a star at all was because the waitress said they were short staffed for the night, and at one point she did stop by to tell us that our food was cooking and on its way. As it stands, I dont believe either of us will be going back there anytime soon. Especially since my sudden bathroom trip is the result of the food we ingested there!

I popped in for a quick meal on my drive home to Moncton. I ordered the nachos with chicken and it was very good. Most restaurants clean out the jalapeno peppers before slicing them and putting them on your nachos. This place left the seeds side which made the jalapenos so much hotter. For me, that was a good thing. Very tasty and spicy. The nachos had a very good covering of cheese and toppings, and it came with salsa and sour cream on the side. The only drawback was that I kept having to ask for more water as the wait staff were very happy to chat amongst themselves by the bar. Otherwise, a great experience.

Great variety on menu, everything is prepared perfectly. A first choice when deciding where to go.

My last three visits I have left disappointed. Family and date nights are important to me and this just doesn't cut it as an outing. For example, my last visit consisted of being greeted, taken to the table, drinks/food ordered the same time and then waiting 45 minutes until I had to go to the bar, reintroduce myself to our waitress, and have my order cancelled or bagged. Turns out the food we were waiting for was not only incorrect but cold.
It is frustrating as I do the surveys or leave comments that bring up my concerns, and I don't hear anything back. I don't want free or discounted anything, just better.
This last visit, my waitress' name was Eve if the helps anyone. My family deserves better so we are going somewhere else from now on.

What a terrible experience!

Now don't get me wrong, the server and hostess were lovely ladies! Unfortunately my husband and I have both found that the quality of food coming out of the kitchen has been steadily decreasing.

We had ordered this time French Onion Soup. There was no "soup" per se, just solid soggy croutons under cheese, no broth. Now I know they are obviously going to soak up some broth, but if you can't make the balance, don't make it. (Note, was not charged for this item)

Hubby had a chicken burger off the new menu, with a side of onion rings. I couldn't figure out why he wasn't eating them until I tried one, Ugh, completely gummy and gross. He was exceptionally disappointed in the burger, as the breaded chicken was like a deep fried ball of chicken, not a burger. He even mentioned it to the server, and she said he was the third complaint of this exact issue. (Note, was charged full price for this meal)

On a positive note, the caeser salad was good?

Pasta was overcook grease soup, fries seemed like they were cooked 25 minutes prior to when we ate just seemed like it wasn't actually cared for when cooked

We really enjoyed our meals. We took chicken cesar salad, chicken wrap and nuggets with curly fries for the kids. We also had a great service. I would go again for sure!

This place has gone downhill. It was never really good to begin with.
Had to send my order back last time. Won't be back

Only reason it lost a star is because there is a dangerous step down into the women's bathroom that almost caused me to fall. Food and service were stellar as usual.

Fries were old, dried out and barely warm. As if they been rewarmed in an oven or under a heat lamp. Asked for rare steak and it was not medium rare, not medium, but medium well done.almost well done. And the server didn't bring any steak sauce. I wasted my hard earned money.: - (

The food was good and we waited a long time for our food for not being overly busy. Overpriced for a sandwich and fries though.

The meal was excellent, the waitress was very friendly and made it a point to make just the right amount of small talk. The food was exactly what we asked for and more. Recommended it to anyone who likes a chill environment with a warm atmosphere.

Jungle Jim's Steaks are the best! Ordered steaks from two different places now and they were cooked to perfection.medium rare with a side of mushrooms and onions. I really thought this place was more just for kids and just food items like fries, potato skins (which are also delicious), chicken strips.but this place is much more then that! Highly recommend.

Great food and very friendly service. Problem on Sunday evening, lack of staff. No clean eating untensils, service extremely slow.vpkace was full with only a few servers. Meal took over 30 mins to be served. Paying at counter took another 10 minutes. No one available to check out.

The staff and food are great. Prices are very reasonable. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait, but it's also not fast food. Definately worth a try, especially if you enjoy a good burger, or mexican type dish.

Great service and food. Ate my dinner on the balcony; loved the option. Prices are okay, but the special deals they offer on certain nights are always cheap!

Very dissapointed in our take out order tonight. We love eating in here, but it isn't always condusive with a toddler, so thought I would pick up for hubby's birthday supper. I ordered the taquitos, which were tasty but weren't served with salsa or sour cream. The Alfredo I ordered for my daughter tasted like it had been tossed and reheated in a burnt pan, she wouldn't eat it. And my husbands meal (hunter burger with poutine) came with rotten wilted lettuce, and a small portion of poutine without any gravy. Very dissapointing overall.

Good restaurant for a quick sit down meal. The menu has a lot of different choices, and the burgers are awesome! They have plenty of cocktails to choose from but not too much in the way of beer.
Good place for families, kids eat free sundays!

Service was excellent. Price was pretty reasonable for the quality of food. I asked for honey garlic wings with a bit of hot sauce on them. I was given hot wings with a bit of honey garlic. I sure hope the cook knows those are two totally different things. It kind of makes me not want to go back to Jungle Jims.

Everything that we ordered or thought about ordering was frozen premade. Was going to order a cheese pizza and the hostess advised the cook would have to pick the peperoni off. Burger paddies, wings, fries ect. Pop was flat, both times. Just shy of an 80 dollar order. Sorry Jungle Jims I won't be back
