Jungle Jim's

Its been a while since we've eaten here. My boys came home for Christmas and Jungle Jims was a favorite place to eat. Tacquitos are their favorites. There's the option of baked now. I suppose a healthy option. But I always say why fix what's not broken lol. Burger was tasty as always. Husband had fish n chips, batter was crispy, but the fish and batter had no flavour at all. The fish seemed soggy as well.not an experience I was expecting. Hopefully, that was just one-off. Service was excellent as always, prompt and friendly.

I definitely enjoy Jungle Jim's as an outing once in a while. While their food is good, they also have to deal with rising food prices so their menu items are high as well. It is also unfortunate that they will place families and people drinking in the booths next to each other. (While this doesn't happen a ton, it has happened more than once)

Our waitress was very very nice. Friendly SERVICE. The food was another story. My friend and I both home allergies. The kitchen was made aware of, carelessness sent my friend into a full blown allergy attack. She became very ill very fast. Kitchen staff needs to be more conscience of their food preparation for allergy customers.

Order from doordash food was great. Dry spiced wings where amazing the cheese sticks could be bether

Usually very happy with the fredericton location. Staff are always great. Recently had one of the new burgers, the chicken on it was about 1.5 lbs of hard batter that taste like pollock. Was way too hard, dry, and not very tasty. I'd stick to the classics. Taquitos, wings, fries. That's what they're good at.

Below average food quality, service was friendly but wait time is not acceptable for this type of formula restaurant

Jungle Jim's is amazing. It is a necessity in a province that freezes over for several months a year. One Pina Colada and some Jimmy Buffett and you are ready to take on winter again. Thanks Jim!

The atmosphere is great, very comfortable. The food was amazing especially for the price & the hostesses were friendly.

Jungle Jim's certainly does have excellent service, the food was cooked great and good portions were served.

Food was really good, I got the fish and and chips, batter was really crispy and perfectly cooked. Service was really awesome our waitress was kind, polite and very nice:)

Great service in spite of the COVID restrictions the food was delivered quickly and was as good as always. The server managed the needed ID and tracking requirements with professionalism.

Personally Jungle Jim's has always been a Saturday night favorite. This time I tried the insanity wings.which did not disappoint.

If you have young kids, this is a great place to go for a meal, especially on Sundays when kids eat free. The food and portion sizes are good, the kids’ menu has a lot of variety, and the desserts are really good.

I feel bad for the fish in there. That tank is too small and it always looks horrible. Went to have lunch and couldn't even see through the fish tank it was so cloudy. Hard to eat when your being distracted by animal neglect.

*** apparently the owner of fredericton aquarium club is now taking care of the fish there and has removed some. Looks a hell of a lot better.

No impressed that they took away the wing night special.that's the only reason my friends and I would go on Wednesday's.other than that everything was great

Very friendly staff. We ordered the kitchen sink and it would have been enough to feed our table of 4. They are offering a variety of burgers this month that a portion of the proceeds go to make a wish foundation. Very friendly staff.

The food was fantastic! Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere here! I think everything is way better than the one in Halifax. -1 star for the slow service. The server was super nice tho, but at the end she forgot our table lol however I still love this restaurant! Def will go back again soon and maybe will change the review to 5 stars in the future.

Food was ok. They never refilled paper towel in washroom after being told, Even after an hour and a half when I left.

Rant, but highly suggest you read before choosing this location; I dont have words. Poutine is 3 ingredients. How do you mess that up. Been there thrice in the last month just to see if i just had 1 bad experience, but nope. First was a steak that was raw and cold in the center when i asked med rare and also had a foul acidic taste. Second was forgetting multiple items on a seafood platter, and taking far too long to recieve, and now this. Gravyless poutine on stale fries that taste of fryer oil that needed changing weeks ago. All of the times were around 7: 30pm, weeknights on days they were not busy enough to excuse the amount of mistakes. This restaurant clearly does not have management that cares to catch these things before going out, or cooks who are beyond incompetent.
PS - I have worked in food industry as a cook for the last 3 years. I know when food is bad.

Food is just ok, service is very slow, bar selection is limited to cheap brands, don't order a scotch here!
