Kennedy Inn

Very much enjoyed my stay here. Location of inn was a plus and live entertainment was very good. Only regret I had was that I was unable to try the restaurant due to a seafood allergy, but comments from others eating was so positive. Amazing part of my trip

This review is about the restaurant. The food was great, and very reasonably priced for such a tourist-oriented town. The service was great, and it was really nice sitting out on the patio. I'll definitely go back.

From the minute I arrived in St Andrews I felt like I was in a Hallmark movie and The Kennedy House had a starring role.
Upon arrival Mo (and later his twin was our waiter) checked us in, he was efficient and very accommodating.
We arrived later than usual and wanted some supper, we were well taken care of even at a later than average supper hour.
Stepping right onto the main street of St. Andrew's was a perfect location and falling into bed in a dream room was amazing! Well done!

Astoundingly good improvements from the new owners. Excellent food preparations, including paying attention to requests. Great environment for tourist and local alike.

13 of us went for supper. Had the window seat which made for good people watching. The server Bart was outstanding. The kids raved about the bathrooms (for some reason). While we waited for dinner the kids played darts. Bravo

Horrible management service. You should revamp management team, they have no idea about customer service

I most assuredly recommend this restaurant. The food is by far the best in the Village. The restaurant, and pub, have the most comfortable decor and seating. I have eaten here several times over the last few years and have never been disappointed. The fish is always fresh, the batter is light, the fries are home cut, the Cole slaw is flavourful, the vegetables are fresh, the staff are always pleasant and very accommodating. I could ramble for pages. Thank you for an excellent feeding over this past weekend. Corned beef sandwich, baked and deep fried haddock, salad. Thank you. (I did not get the name of the the gentleman on Friday nor the lady on Saturday who assisted beside Heather.) BZ to all (including those I did not have the opportunity to interact with.

Great food with reasonable prices. Service was fast and friendly. If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and try this out.

The staff here are wonderful and the food is getting better n better with new chefs and a changing menu. Specials every day. Fabulous dining room or pub areas.

Arrivé dans ce joli endroit par hasard, nous y avons apprécié l'accueil et le service chaleureux de Maurice. Tout était parfait, et, hormis les repas fait à la maison, nous n'avions pas aussi bien mangé depuis notre arrivé au Canada.
Nous reviendrons avec plaisir!

Arrived in this pretty place by chance, we appreciated the welcome and the warm service of Maurice. Everything was perfect, and apart from the home cooked meals we hadn't eaten so well since arriving in Canada.
We will be back with pleasure!

Wow! The Kennedy has really upped it's kitchen game! We stopped in last week and were pleasantly surprised to find our meals better than ever. So we wandered in again today for the special (lobster Mac n cheese) and some souped up poutine. Both were excellent. Also, the special came with a salad and a delicious homemade dressing. I implore all locals and visitors alike to come see what's new at The Kennedy. We will absolutely be back soon

I read the chowder was good, so I wanted to give it a chance even though TripAdvisor didn't rate the place too favourably.

- Fish cake was great!
- Chowder had a single cm cube of lobster and nothing else (no fish, clam or anything) other than cream. I was so disappointed in the dish of at least $10 that I voiced my concern. They gave me a 2nd chowder with a bit more lobster.and still no other seafood + took $4 off my bill.

Overall, I appreciate their service, and hope they improve on the food itself. If their chowder was running out and they were scooping out the empty bottom, maybe they should have called it a 'sold out' instead.

This rating is only for the pub, in off season.
Lots of eating areas and friendly staff, but the service was slow and we weren't revisited for dessert or additional beverages.
The Inn looked lovely, and the fancy dining area had a number of diners. I'm sure this is a busy and highly recommended spot in the summertime.

So this was my first time here and I have to say I couldn't have been more pleased with my overall experience. This place is rich with character and charm, it also boast an enjoyable dining experience but the real key to this places success are the staff they have to be the kindest most hospitable people on earth.
