Le Grand Saut

Pizza dough was undercooked, toppings were on top of the cheese and overall everything was bland. The waiteress kept addressing us in english (I'm french) after I replied in french, even though she spoke fluently to other tables in french. I ate 2 of 6 slices, threw out the rest.

We arrived here mid September and noticed how sleepy the town is with almost all businesses/shops/restaurants closed by 6pm, with this place and another one down the road being the only ones open to have a meal.

The place was packed on the ground floor so we were taken upstairs and given the chance to choose a table as there were several large tables taken with groups of girls. Fortunately they left pretty soon only to have a group of 5 youngsters arriving and taking the table right near our corner table despite almost the whole floor being empty. The problem was not having somebody near us but how much they were swearing with 'f this and f that' girls with long lashes and caked up in makeup and guys who should have known better.

I had the best pizza I ever remember (now I am addicted to only ordering pizza and not buying it anymore from supermarkets) while the rest of my party had a fish dish and fish with rice. We ate as fast as we could and left in order not to hear those disgusting youngsters speak in that un-educated manner: shame on them and their lack of education and respect for civilised, respectful people and environments. Somehow I know they are all failures.

The staff was friendly. Unfortunately, no dogs (even a tiny Chihuahua) are allowed on the patio.
Good beverage selection.
Food:
- Baby back ribs - very good.
- Pizza with roasted vegetables - very good.
- Pizza "Works" - I didn't like it. Many toppings but overall very tasteless.

Great restaurant, loved the atmosphere of being in a booth on the second floor, place was clean and food was great.

Bon choix de pizza mais beaucoup de pâte et pas très fournie. Très belle salade. Accueil sympa. Prix un peu cher pour une pizza.

Great food, we had pizza and ribs, and both were plenty of food. The pizza had so much filling in it, I could only eat half of it and took the rest home. The presentation of the establishment is absolutely fantastic, you'll inputed abutting you take here.

La qualité des repas est toujours à la hauteur de nos attentes. C'est toujours un plaisir d'y revenir lors d'un séjour dans la région.

Was in Grand Falls for a golf tournament, found this spot and glad we did! Food was great and the atmosphere and service was fantastic as well! Located on one of the main areas, we went back twice:)

This restaurant was great. It was a perfect experience. Well worth going to for dinner. Plenty of seating, so no waiting a table, and the food and service was amazing.

Ate outside for the first time and that was very nice. Love their pizza. One of my favorite places to eat in Grand Falls.

Nice upscale place. Good location. Classy atmosphere. Street parking. Had garlic fingers (very nice, great dough), and margherita pizza (dough was good, but sauce was strangely sweet, would serve better on a meat pizza but not on a margherita).

Went for drinks on the patio with 7 other people after 4pm as they advertise Margarita Mondays on a billboard outside.

The chain across the entrance to the patio and lack of customers should have been a clue, also no umbrellas over the tables.

Our group had to walk through an interior construction project complete with debris to get to the patio. We were told that they couldn’t move the tables to accommodate us and we had to order food to get drinks. (Ok)
The staff didn’t even offer to move a few chairs.
We gave up and went to Cozy Bar two doors down.
Grand Saut has the only real patio in this town however it is poorly utilized. Canada Day, lovely weather, a Saturday it was closed. I’ve been to many towns smaller and less attractive than here, however they seem to manage a much more vibrant restaurant and patio scene.
The slow death of downtown GF?

Nice place to take a date. Great food, beer, wine and spirits.

Good food, nice service. We ordered a meat lasagna, really delicious. My parmigiana chicken with fried sweet potatoes and vegetables was tasty. The Margherita pizza was good too. Nice beer from Moncton. We enjoyed our meal.

Greatfood, great service. Really want to go back to try to pizza!

Went back, pizza is awesome!

The service was fast and they were excellent. The food was better than I thought it would be for the price! We ate outside to enjoy the weather and had a good time. There was some music, but it wasn't too loud that we couldn't have a conversation.

Pizza ordinaire…la pâte devrait être un peu plus cuite car elle est molle au milieu. Le restaurant manque de décor… dommage car très accueillant du dehors et foyer imposant à l’intérieur mais on croit que les murs are very boring. Serveuses amicales et bilingues, nice!
