Lepreau Falls

Took my sister and her husband to see the Falls for the first time for them. So easily accessible. We have had alot of rain recently and the Falls were showing off nicely.

Came across this little gem of a place, it's definitely worth a peek if you happen to drive by it.

Real nice place to take a walk or family for a picnic.however not a greT place when my hild with aspergers syndrome gets locked in your male bThroom.so unacceptable as they took a panic attack when they couldnt get out for over an hour.won't be back and I don't recommend it at all

There may well be more here than what we visited. We stopped to eat our lunch in our RV at the first pullout above the upper pretty but less impressive falls. I then walked down to the next pullout and found the observation deck for the falls. The river bends around to hit the maybe 10 or 12 foot shear drop of the falls at the apex near you. Quite the photo opportunity. A walkway leaves there and terminates at what might be a bathroom, but I investigated no further.

What can one say about waterfalls.it's an experience you really have to make time and visit. Right now with the latest rainfall we've had the falls are in prime shape. There are a couple of boardwalk Lookouts easily accessible where you can get that picture or just stop and take a minute and listen. Lepreau Falls right now will not disappoint. We've got so many waterfalls in New Brunswick that one could visit 5 or more in a day or a couple together with a little bit of a drive.but well worth it. Do your research before you leave and wear the right shoes.not flip flops lol in case you have a little walking on a trail first. Lepreau Falls are flip flop accessible case you're wondering lol

Must visit and there is a guy who sells fresh clams out of his house. Across from the falls.

Beautiful spot.

Somebody posted a negative review observing a lot of foam, the dark colour of the water and oiliness. This is probably natural - the water is a dark colour due to tannins that are leached out of the leaves that fall in the water. The foam comes from the flocculation of naturally deposited fine organic material and you often see this when the water gets churned up. There isn't much industry or farming upstream.

Great find. Never even hear of it before. I was taking a scenic road between Saint John and St-Andrew’s and was looking for a picnic spot. Followed the road signed and ended up there. George is day, perfect sport for family or romantic picnic. Will definitive back.
