This place is epic. Not at all what I expected. The pre-order system was a bit different. The food wow. I'm tempted to turn back around and drive the 20 hrs to the coast just for the seafood chowder. The whole lobster was also cooked and salted to perfection
Expensive pricing.was expecting a bigger portion on our lobster roll (maybe 6-7 inc hot dog style bun with half full lobster meat for $19). Beyond that the clam chowder was very tasty.
Very disappointed. I ordered lobster roll and Captain Platter. Tasted like fast food would NOT recommend anyone who travel here and want to try some seafood
Very awesome Little spot right on the strip. Had the Captain's platter or something which was a mix of fried seafood along with fries. Wife had the Lobster roll. All were very delicious and they have a nice covered patio.
My husband and I had great expectations for this place. We love lobster! We ordered the lobster roll plate. However the lobster roll did not tasted as expected. The French fries were really good. We sat by the terrace.
We were a group of 5 adults. Between us, we ordered the lobster platter, lobster poutine, fish and chips and seafood chowder. My fish was bread crumb style and the fries were piping hot and crispy. The lobster poutine was delicious by my son found $7 for 3 pieces of lobster a little steep. Both sons loved their chowder, as did the sister who finished their bowls. The lobster platter was enjoyed beyond words. The beverage of choice was beer or 7Up, both cold.
Clearing the tables was a little slow; we just cleared them ourselves until help came. It was a busy afternoon and he was alone cleaning up after everyone.
Service was a little slow, but who isn't short-staffed these days? It wasn't a ridiculous amount of time. 15, maybe 20 minutes.
We're on vacation and need to slow down, enjoy the family and friends we're with, and appreciate the time we can sit back and disconnect and reconnect for a while.
Stopped for lunch to enjoy a seafood feast. As the name suggests, they have a big covered deck. We had class, seafood chowder and a Lobster roll. All great.
We stopped on our way out of Shediac. Best seafood I have ever eaten! We had the seafood casserole, the lobster club sandwich and the captain's platter. Everything was hot and absolutely delicious. It was worth every penny!
Self-serve counter with plenty of seating space, both indoors and on the street-facing patio. Food is great and service is fairly fast. Excellent choice if you're in a small-to-medium group.
I ordered a burger menu and a lobster roll. The upper side of the burger was so slippery, that you have to hold it very tight not to lose it. Like Michael Jordan when he holds a Basketball. The lobster roll was almost 22$ with tax and so small, that it took less than 10 seconds for me to inhalate it. The taste of the food was good but the service was a desaster: Over 40 mins waiting time for fastfood and you need to wait until they call your order number through the speakers on the outside terrace. Unfortunately it was just an unclear noise, not possible to hear the number…
Waste of money. Lobster was inedible. Crunchy not tender. We can get better coconut shrimp from the grocery store. The fries were good. I was going to bring the lobster to the counter but the line was huge. We just left.
C est la deuxième fois en quatre ans que nous y allons lorsque nous voyageons dans les maritimes. Toujours aussi bon. Resto typique de la région et le meilleur en son genre
Really enjoyable eatery. Great people and great location. Only complaint is that the food is a little basic and the wait time for food is a bit long if they're busy.
