I've never seen a salesman so disinterested in making a sale or wanting to get information. Asked about an item on the floor near him and was told to take a photo and go ask someone else. I'll give them an extra star because the lady I found was great, but a little too late. The experience was so mind bogglingly bizarre and negative that I will not be back.

Useless warranty.

Sold a broken couch and best they can do is offer a new cushion.

Paid for a warranty and it gave 0, absolutely nothing.

We bought an LG refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, and microwave from Lounsbury Furniture in 2020 and were delivered 2021. Shortly after delivery dents started appearing on the front of the refrigerator (which was not dented at delivery). I called and reported it at that time and after more than a year of calls to LG, extended warranty, and Lounsbury nothing was done. I was promised twice by Lounsbury and LG they would replace the doors but went back on their word. There are now 7 dents and more appearing. The problem is the insulation under the panel drying out and causing the denting. Beware of Lounsbury and LG

My new appliance was believed during Fiona! Can you believe that. Now that customer care. Hats off to the two gentlemen delivering it. They were fast and friendly. 5 stars from me!

Learnt an important lesson: never buy something electronic (in our case appliances) from a store that cannot service these things themselves (especially since there are other stores in the area that can and do). Incompetent staff and the only saving grace was decent management. Sadly, we will not be going back.

I’m going to start with the good parts, the review has to be fair even when you’re extremely frustrated…

Our sales agent took her time to listen and tailor solutions to my husband‘s needs. We ended up going with an Elran reclining sofa and love seat for the ability to customize features to assist with my husband’s back injury, desired firmness etc. The sale went quickly, smoothly and honestly, everyone we we’ve spoken with is just lovely but that’s where our positive experience ended.

We waited patiently, just over 7 months to receive our furniture and it arrived dirty, smelly, covered in various debris, defective and in substandard condition for any furniture but for $6780? !? It should have been delivered in IMMACULATE condition.

After our move settled down, we reported the issues as soon as possible, the service department was swift, the technician came out the second our schedules lined up, reviewed everything, acknowledged the issues and was pretty confident it would all be covered under the warranty and sure, the manufacturer agreed to replace one part on the couch but deemed the rest “standard wear and tear” sorry what? How could there be “standard wear and tear” on something that’s brand new? The only wear and tear absolutely, unequivocally happened during the shipping and/or delivery process as evident in the condition we received it.

I have since been able to get all of the wood chips out of the fabric, I was able to get the smell out of the couch and when I say smell I’m talking, you know when someone comes in your home and removes their work boots? That smell. But now we’re left feeling uneasy about the overall quality of the furniture, how long it’s actually going to last, fabric that has had the threads pulled out on various parts of the couch etc.just unacceptable.

We would have been better off shopping at Leon’s or The Brick or somewhere else where you at least expect less high end “quality”

To say we feel ripped off is an understatement and I definitely don’t recommend Elran or Lounsbury as a result. Very, very disappointing.

Worst place I have ever shopped. Horrible customer service and they will NOT honor the warranty. Paid for extended and it's been over a year without a stove.

Went to see furniture showroom and sales lady " Marie-Jeanne Gallant" provided outstanding assistance and service! My Mom is elderly and M. J.went out of her way to provide information, pricing, advantages and help us. Very much appreciated!

Got a very reasonable price on a very good Washing machine.
The sales staff were great to work with and the delivery guys were on time, friendly, quick and efficient.
Will shop here again when I need major appliances.

I received great service from the Sales team, and even better after-sales customer support as I had an issue with one of the pieces received. The issue was with the supplier, but the staff at Lounsbury went above and beyond in finding a solution and ensuring I was a satisfied customer. I would shop here again, and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Mid to high end furniture.prices are expected to be higher due to quality. With furniture you get what you pay for at a store like this.

I can not say enough good things about Deanna. We went in a few weeks ago for a new bed for my Dad. She was helpful and knowledgeable. She knew we were looking around at other places but was still super attentive, polite and helpful. Checked out the other places on our list and was underwhelmed with both price, quality and the level of service. Headed back to get the bed he had shortlisted. On the way there, we decided to look at the recliner chairs as well. Again, helpful and knowledgeable but NOT pushy. I felt like she genuinely cared that he got something that worked for him more than making the commission. He got his items a week or so later and the recliner chair leg lift component wasn't working. They sent the repairman and the part was going to be 2 weeks. The next day Deanna called to advise him that because they knew he needed the leg lift to work they were replacing the chair for him so he wouldn't have to wait 2 weeks. We will definitely be back for future purchases (as long as Deanna is there!). Thanks Deanna!

Bought a bed by Springwall and under warranty had to return it, which was approved by Springwall. Received a credit but only for a Springwall product. So bought another style of bed by Springwall, paid more for this mattress. Much too firm and contacted Lounsburys, who said they would pass the message to Springwall, never heard from Springwall although many calls to Lounsburys assured me Springwall would get ahold of me. Finally Lounsburys said they would sent their technician to check the mattress and again, many calls later, but assuring me they would contact me, never did. It's been several months now and no satisfaction. Too bad as I considered this company to live up to its name and longevity in Moncton. Just stating what happened to me, maybe they don't stand up to their warranty for a second bed. Being truthful would have gone a long way instead of me waiting for this person to show up.

Any time I've been in there I had great service salespeople are friendly but not overbearing or pushy. We are building a new house this summer and they will be the first place I stop for new appliances and furniture.

Waited years to buy a new sofa. Went to lounsburys and found one we liked. The saleswoman showed us the same one that was delivered to someone then brough back to store within a week. The price was discounted by $200. We found out why a week after we bought it. The frame was cracked from poor quality wood uses in frame. Was told they wont do antyhing due to it being discount. Waste of $1200

Recently bought a 3 piece leather livingroom set and a set of end tables. End tables were on sale. When I got the end tables home noticed back of one table was severely damaged. Was not informed of the damage and being on sale does not mean damaged. Could not return them. The leather living room set was not on sale and it was an expensive set. In a corner of the armchair, the leather is worn thru to the backing. The recliner, well the front seam is so crooked it looks like it was just thrown together. Have not found anything wrong with the sofa. I always heard lounsbury was a higher end store so was not expecting this kind of quality. Very disappointed
