Makeba Restaurant

My husband and I went Saturday at 4 pm. The only people in the restaurant.
The service was amazing but sadly that’s where it ended.
The meal was absolutely disgusting.
Chicken Parmesan with no sauce. Just a dried out piece of flat over cooked dried chicken with a slice of what looked like cheese slice. The ceaser Salad was chopped and hardly any sauce no croutons or bacon.
Very disappointing and will not be back.
This cook should go take some cooking classes.

This was my second time here.and I can't say anything negative about this place.the food was amazing, the staff excellent and super friendly. I would recommend this restaurant 100%. Will return many times.

Food is good! Its the only place in the area where not everything is deep fried or pizza so I tend to go every now and again. Their salad dressings are very good and if you're looking for deep fried stuff they make the best home made fries.

Chef is good at adapting to fit your dietary restrictions. Staff are great!

Makeba is the best restaurant in the area in my opinion. My family and I went there three times while we were on vacation. Some of our favorites were the seafood pizza, the clam chowder, and the crime brûlée. On top of that the service was great and waiter was very friendly. My only complaint is that it’s not open every day of the week! Otherwise we probably would have gone every night. Anyways we will definitely be coming back.

My husband and I decided to take a break from cooking from our campsite and took a chance on this restaurant based on previous reviews. We received a warm welcome from Carol who also served our table. The dish my husband chose was a large bowl of mussels, seafood casserole with rice pilaf and a Greek salad. Very large pieces of scallops, shrimp and lobster. The portions were so large he couldn't eat it all. I chose the Poke bowl with chicken. It was very fresh and flavourful and there was none left ha ha. Carol's friendly personality had us laughing and enjoying our evening out. Highly recommend this restaurant, you will not be disappointed. Great value for great food. Disclaimer, the bowl of mussels full full to the top

Food and service were amazing and prices were reasonable. This place reminded me that food can be an amazing experience and not just a meal. Had a great time and will go again for sure.

Excellent dinner! Our waitress was very friendly and the chef was very kind and brought a water bowl for our dog. We ordered the garden salad with the orange dressing, fish and chips, vegetable stir fry, seafood casserole and creme brûlée. Everything was delicious!

Amazing culinary experience, excellent produce and meats, care and dishes. Home made sauces, everything from scratch, temperature and servings done to perfection. I’ve tried many dishes here and loved them all. Ambiance is chill and doesn’t even matter once you taste it!
