Great atmosphere, friendly owners, very clean, large lots. On the river and 5 minutes to the grocery store

This is the friendliest camp I've ever seen! The owners were always willing to help. We arrived late, but they waited for us and prepared firewood for us. They have all the basic services, with water, electricity, sewage, washroom, and hot showers. The night was very quiet, allowing us to have a comfortable evening.

Mariner's Point is a quaint little RV and camp ground. George, the owner is friendly and very accommodating. It's located just a few minutes off the main highway and is a convenient little spot for an over night stay. There are showers on site and a play ground for younger kids, there is also a small off leash fenced area for dogs.

It was a last minute choice to come to this camp ground we were at the end of our vacation, and coming from an awful campground, to find the owner had prepared our site prior to our arrival. He is a great man and has a very nice campground I could not believe the space we had and nobody is on top of one another. Close to the water with great people. I would say this place is a well oiled machine.

Nice little campground right on the outskirts of Nackawic. Only minutes away from several restaurants and a craft brewery. Reasonable prices.

Absolutely disgusted. We were only to stay for one night on our drive/move across Canada with our small child, and this was the only place we could find with a spot available, however we were turned away for not having a vaccine passport for an OUTDOOR campground. We have our own trailer with bathroom/shower & kitchen, and were simply stopping for a sleep.
It's not mentioned on their website, the government website, nor did they mention it over the phone when we spoke to them.
To be honest when we pulled in I nearly nearly gagged with the stench, so perhaps it was for the better anyway. * whoever my husband spoke to was also not wearing a mask when they were in the office together.

Terrible experience. Too expensive for a night with unbelievable bad roads access (detour of 11 km due to bridge closed)
Water was probably contaminated as the color was redish and the spot offered for the premium cash price (close to the end of campground near the dumped rusted equipment, boat, all junk collected in years,) was not used for long time showing the water valves were not used for years. I think the high 4 stars reviews are misleading and are biased.
Definitely I do not recommended and definitely I would suggest double check and think twice before booking and paying for this place

Owner was super friendly. Set up our site ahead of time with a dog Bone adapter and a water pressure regulator.

The site used to be a gravel pit I think, but it's been an RV park for 10 years.

Sites are small, but it's a great place to stay for a night or 2 when going across canada.

The scenery is better here than up in town.the lake was a nice highlight. We were able to collect a huge load of wood from the beach for our campfire.

Robins donuts just up the road for morning coffee and breakfast sandwiches.

Would stay again!

Price was fair but I didnt ask what the check out time was. After a knock on my door I learned it was 11am. My bad for not checking and the staff was polite enough but the checkout time was the earliest of all the camgrounds weve been to this far. That's the reason for the 3 star rating.

Dump. In need of a good cleaning. No lights in showers unless someone there to turn on power. Drive past this one.

Quiet beautiful RV park. We visited with family who have a camper there. Afternoon of swimming, good eats and great memories. Would go back in a heart beat.

First off, I need to preface this review with a few facts: we were camping in the middle of the week and it was before the Atlantic Bubble was opened. Definitely not peak busy camping season. Now that's out of the way, we really enjoyed our stay. The campground (and town) are very quiet. Perfect place to relax and not be running around doing all the touristy stuff.
The seasonal campers also pooled some $$ and bought some fireworks for Canada Day. It was great. Our kids loved it.
The only downside to the Nackawic area is the mill effluent. It stinks. But doesn't always blow toward town or the campground. Of the three nights we stayed, we only smelled the mill on the last night after a brief thunderstorm.
We will definitely be camping there again.
Lastly, because of the weird timing of our visit, I felt that I couldn't fully review this campground because we didn't get to see it at peak season. Therefore I can only give it 3 stars. I will update this review after we camp there again.

Nice little spot, and the service was top notch. We called to let them know that we were going to be late due to a mechanical problem. The owner stayed behind to ensure we made it in (around midnight) and escorted us to our site. The next morning, we ended up having the same mechanical failure with our truck and one of the employees was all too happy to come down and give us a hand. That kind of service is hard to come by. Thank you - we will be sure to stay again if we are ever in your area again!

There are pros and cons with this place.

Fantastic place to go if your looking for a seasonal spot. Everyone is super friendly and it is on the water. That being said, there is nothing fancy about the amenities. The seasonals have the best spots right on the water, everyone else is in an open lot with no trees. The facilities are.rustic. Washrooms were plywood finish but they were clean. Showers were not as clean, tiny and not the greatest at all.

When we got there there was a guy riding on a lawnmower, beer in hand, selling 50/50 tickets and reminding everyone about the live music that night.

The one man band was loud music until 1am and it sounded like a great time And there were lots of empties to show everyone had a great time. (Pretty sure when I used the washroom that night someone was sick in the stall beside me).

If your looking for a good time and seasonal place. It’s a great place. If your looking for anything else, than this place is not for you.

Response to owner

Le is my maiden name (not the full name just a portion) and my husband booked so you wouldn’t have seen my name in your booking.

We didn’t stay for the free breakfast, we left at 8am and no one was awake yet other than the people for the bass tournament. I didn’t know the name of the one man band, he sounded really good and it honestly sounded like a good time.

Again before becoming defensive take my review for what it is. We stayed for one night, it was not a quiet campground for one night stop over as we continued on our way. For a weekend or longer it would be a fantastic campground. It just wasn’t what we were looking for at that point.

The showers were not clean they were full of spider webs, I’ve been to campground across the country. I’m honest with my reviews and I’m sorry that offended you.

I stick by my original statement, great place for a longer stay. Not great for a one night stay.

This campground is only 7 Km from the trans Canada Highway and I have been going here for 5 years now and washrooms and showers have always been clean. The 3 -4 waterfront transit sites fill up quick but a view of the River can be seen from every site. The fishing is also great from the shore or the dock. The beach sometimes gets some branches or logs from the flow of the river after heavy rains but is usually cleaned up pretty quickly. There is a small playground for the kids with lots of sand. There is free WIFI however it is out of town limits and is good for checking e-mails etc but don't expect to stream movies. Movies are for home get out and enjoy the Fire. Live music is sometimes on the long weekends and the campground gets is money worth usually playing until midnight but not later and is a great mix for all to enjoy. The sites are large and there is no worries of feeling cramped with the slide out of your neighbor in your window. Fire pits on every site and firewood was affordable at the welcome center. 5 min away was a grocery store/ NB liquor, a dollar store and a pharmacy. Oh and the kids young and old love the Yum Yums Dairy bar there too. Everyone is friendly and all are willing to answer questions and help out
