Maritime Animal Hospital (Moncton)

I have two cats, they do a great job of helping them feel as relaxed as possible. Came to this place on a recommendation from a friend and they were right- they're wonderful here.

Very good staff and Doctors. We have used this animal hospital many times over the years with top of the line results.

Always quick to get us in, and we get excellent care and treatment. My dog loves going to the vet!

Always get compassionate service and care for my fur babies when I come in, no matter how big or small the issue is! This has been my vet of choice for just over nine years for my two cats and although there is such a shortage of vets and vet techs in Moncton (across Canada really) I have never felt rushed or dismissed on the phone, waiting room or while in the exam room.

We rushed in first thing this morning, my nerves were frayed, we were sure our poor girl had broken a paw. Despite not having an appt, they took her in immediately. We were relieved to find out she's got some soft tissue damage, rest and meds. In a week we should see our happy healthy pup back. The cost always surprises me. This is the most amazing veterinary clinic in Moncton. We made the switch a few years ago and couldn't be happier. The staff is incredible, even with overwhelmed fur momma such as myself, so compassionate and empathetic. Love this clinic.

Amazing services, after 2 emergency visits to riverview and NO answers just meds prescribed for a "guessed" issue, I was finally given answers and explained what it was my cat had!
My baby who is usually quite stressed around new people acted as though he was at home, he loved the veternarian and others who came in to say hi! This is the only place I will bring my fur babies ️

Amazing experience! I needed help for my poor fur baby last minute during vacation and they got me in within 2hours and took time to explain everything, were so nice with my dog and you could see they really care about their clients. They even asked me to call for an update to make sure he was ok ️ Highly recommend!

Today was Marvin's first time visiting the veterinarian since arriving in Canada. All of the staff were SO pleasant, caring, and did amazing at helping Marvin feel comfortable. We had an amazing experience for his first visit ️

My 14 year old dog caught kennel cough after coming into this clinic and they wouldn’t give me the meds to reduce her coughing until I came back in for another visit. It seemed 1) odd they would want a sick dog coming in 2) she was in a lot of pain in the meantime 3) money grab. When I did come in the vet kept saying it could be something else other than kennel cough even though it clearly was that (my 1 & a half year old also got kennel cough). Other issues I have with this clinic is that the vet asked me to get my puppies heart rate because she was having difficulty. This is disappointing since her breed has a history of heart disease and I am not an expert in the field. I would spend any amount of money necessary to help my dogs but I’ve experienced one too many red flags at this clinic to continue to go here. Don’t get me wrong the vet was very friendly I just felt I was being manipulated into spending unnecessary money and scared into it. I will be looking elsewhere because of this.

My existing vet wasn't able to provide an appointment for our senior dog who was having problems. We ended up using this clinic throughout a very difficult month. All the staff from Dr Machun & Dr Vessey, to the vet techs, to the receptionists - they were all fabulous. We explored different medications had many discussions. After wonder care & service that reached beyond the normal, we made the difficult decision to let our dog go.

My wife and I will be bringing our younger dog here from now on. We're glad we found this clinic when we did & the wonderful interactions will have us calling this our home clinic from now on. Thank you Maritime Animal Hospital!

I went to this vet when mine couldn’t get me in for minimum of two weeks! Ms Gaunce along with the entire team were incredible! Listened intently to what we said was going on with our dog and was able to diagnose him quickly and provide almost immediate relief. Nothing additional that wasn’t needed and followed up Monday after a Saturday appointment. He was given some pain meds and antibiotics and is already on the mend. Will definitely be returning to this clinic going forward.

I recently moved from Ontario and have had to already bring two of my pets in. My cat needed to be seen sooner rather than later and the Maritime Animal Hospital was able to accommodate me that day, even though I wasn’t an existing client. The service I received was phenomenal, from my first phone call to reception to the vet techs and doctors themselves. I have four animals and have never had such a fantastic experience at the vet.
