The employees have no idea what "good service" means. They were punctual and responsible. For the rest, it is better not to talk to anyone.

So this is my personal opinion. I understand that rules are made for convenience of people. But once in a while there would be situations where you'd actually need humans to understand the situation no machine algorithm can replace it.

Today I dropped an unknown couple to the bus terminal, they had met a fierce accident on the highway in their car which was totaled on the spot. They needed to go to Halifax. Unable to afford expensive taxi service, they asked me to drop them at the bus terminal. But the maritime bus service refused to board them because they had their two cats (in cage) with them who were equally terrified from the accident. The lady at reception asked multiple bosses of hers but every single one of them said no because why would they help them? !

My question is that has the world lost its empathy?

I understand that some people might be allergic to cats. Again, all the passengers could have been asked if they were okay with it. Seats could have been sanitized after arrival but no, let them be, right!?

If we can't think beyond the rules why not just put robots to give tickets and do all the stuff, at least the process will be faster because humans didn't wanna think out of the box and help people. They were going according to the code aka rules just like a robot goes according to its algorithm!

Humans are called humans because they can bring change.

Waiting to get on the bus from Moncton to Campbellton with the most unprofessional, ignorant rude, obnoxious bus driver I evere had.
You should really have a talk to him about being more friendly with the paying customer. May12/2023

All the drivers were polite and helpful and when I reach different terminals they allowed me to use the phone when the Wi-Fi on the bus wasn't working, which was convenient, I would recommend this bus line anytime,

Would be better if it had a small kiosk to buy coffee, snacks and reading materials for the trips to be taken

I've been using Maritime bus for years, my son just came down from Dartmouth to Moncton and the driver was helpful to him and the bus arrived at the exact minute to be expected. Good job once again Maritime bus drivers! It's been cause of you people are able to travel at an affordable rate.

The Maritime Bus Station is very close to the Halifax Airport, which is the best, but it lacks a more noticeable sign indicating that they leave from there.
They should have WiFi on the bus just like they have buses in Europe: Flexibus, Ecolines and many more and they have better and modern buses with WiFi, to recharge our cell phones and to serve us coffee because here they charge more than in Europe and they only have old buses.

The price to Fredricton from 5 months ago went from a return ticket of $38 to $101.00. That's unacceptable.

A recent review states that "this company benefits from a lack of competition. " I agree with that statement.

It is nice enough inside the terminal. It is clean, the climate control is comfortable and there is plenty of seating. Unfortunately, it is a challenging environment for budget travelers and disabled patrons. There are various opportunities for accessibility here. Just as one example, the sink in the ladies room is rather high for patrons who might not be able to stand up to reach it.

In general, there are opportunities for accessibility of: financial/payment options, space and safety for patrons who are physically disabled, information about the bus and train schedules for patrons with hearing or vision impairments, training of the employees to better understand and accommodate disabilities.

There is one debit/credit only vending machine with 9 options of Pepsi beverages to choose from. The vending machine is out of order, but there is no notice on it. There are also coin-operated candy dispensers that accept quarters. Incidentally, the ATM is also out of order. There is WiFi access available, but it is spotty and temperamental.

If you have the means to wait somewhere else for your bus, do that. Ideally, you will be here to wait briefly before going to a more accommodating place.
