Service speed is above average (unless it's later than 12 PM, then you can wait up to 30 minutes) but the price and quality of food is sacrificed. I often get a side of Big Mac pieces with my lettuce. Prices are marked up compared to other locations. Whenever I want McDonalds, I avoid this one like the plague and go to the north side location.

I would definitely work at the location in Fredericton if I was looking for a job that wasn't remote! The manager here is awesome! And it's a great team! Apply on the Mc Donald's website! It's easy as pie through LinkedIn and the McDonald's website, you can always apply from the restaurant too. It's best to show your face and make a lasting impression!

I usually come during the evening, because the food is fresh and the staff is super friendly, especially the overnight lady manager. Keep it up!

Is what it is fast food with low quality and low customer service seems to be a decline in there franchise since covid. Cost is too high for quality and service provided accross the city

There's a guy named Ben that is working here alot. I just want to say that everytime he serves, he's the nicest person and always very efficient. But his customer skills is so awesome! Such a nice guy!

The person taking the order would not listen to what I ordered.spilled pop sat for 20 minutes in front of door to play climber and made mess inside after being told 4 times. Fries were cold and chicken burgers were thrown together and a mess.

Visiting Fredericton, we went through this drive-thru. Ordered one plain Mcdouble, one regular McDouble, French fries and a McFlurry. We were asked to park and wait for almost 10 minutes and realized after heading out of town that they didn't get the order right. Not very impressed.

The cashier couldn't make the proper change from a 5 dollar bill. Twice. Shouldn't be dealing cash if you can't do simple math.

I had a strange experience here, one of the staff behave very rude and his attitude was very aggressive. He is a punjab guy. Teach hime how to handle guest.

It's McDonalds, you get what you get, the service was good, food was decent, coffee was amazing, good for a quick meal on the go.

I waited 20 minutes for a coconut slushie while they served a full lineup of customers and had to go ask if I was going to get it, then another 10 minute wait. Very Poor Service

Poor drive thru experience: This evening between 7: 30 and 7: 45 I arrived at Macdonald's on Prospect Street Fredericton NB where I used the outside lane of the drive thru with 2 vehicles in front of me 1st one being a cube van. The lane was not moving which I noticed at least 8 cars were served in the 1st lane and the gentleman in the cube van got out and motioned to us behind him that no one was taking his order. I called the store asking why there was a delay as the other lane was being served, unfortunately I advised the female I was speaking to I couldn't not understand her and all I could hear was sorry. Finally the gentleman was able to place his order. Immediately after the gentleman pulled forward 3 cars orders were taken on the inside lane and once I had clearance I pulled out of the line as I was not giving my business to such an unorganized establishment and took my business elsewhere.

Always busy. They're fast during mid day but in the evening and 12pm I've waited 40 minutes (many times at least 10) just to order at the drive-thru. And one time 40 minutes after my order for just 2 drinks. Slowest McDs I've ever been to.

Worst employee i have ever seen in whole Canada is at Prospect Mcdonald. Mr. Ben, he is very rude and does not have any humour how to deal with customers. Its not only i have experienced it. I saw him arguing with some other customers also. I think he need to do his training again. And get some moral values how to deal with customers.

The slowest restaurant in the fast food world 100% guarantee to completely ignored patrons in the restaurant while concentrating to serve people by driver through.

Don't order through doordash or skip for these guys. I've given them a few chances during lazy munching days, and they've always managed to forget some part of the order.

The drive through and in-resturaunt ordering is a bit better, with them usually only forgetting condiments like butter or syrup for their hotcakes. It's a McDonald's lol.

Food was good but we were served by a robot it seems as the first lady was rude and the second one had a hard time to understand that our order was messed up. He was not alert and a manager had to explain the basics to him. It took her 5 seconds to understand that our order was messed up by the rude lady while he wasted two minutes and still did not get the messup and was blaming us.

Absolute worse customer service ever. No one ever knows whats going on. I've literally had to call while at their 3rd window because they forgot about me

Something is either wrong with my order or forgotten about nearly every time I come here. Need of management or ownership change is desperately needed.

I stopped at McDonald’s in Fredericton on my way home to Woodstock. First of all I asked if there were straws in the bag he said yes and there was wasn’t.they also forgot my medium fry I paid for. I ordered a grand Big Mac and got a regular. I was already on the highway to go home before I realized it.so I didn’t turn back.no wonder McDonald’s are rich ripping off there costumers.

This is why you can't pay people minimum wage. Who would work hard for that? How is my order wrong every time?

Ordered in the drive thru. Paid at the first window and received my drink but was told to pull ahead to the second window for the food. Assuming they forgot about me because I sat there forever getting eaten alive by mosquitoes until I eventually left with no breakfast, and out of $10.

Staff seem incapable of operating the drive thru properly.

Update: still bad six months later.

Op: Somehow the slowest McDonald's I've ever been to. Constantly. Go up the street to DQ for a much better experience.
Updating an old review: never go late at night. Incredibly understaffed. Closes indoor ordering randomly.

Clean, fast service and good selection of meals available! Of course I remember a $0.99 big Mac! What ever happened there? !? !

Ordered a 6 pack of nuggets and a smoothie, gave me the nuggets and told me to pull ahead to next window. Waited 6 minutes for a smoothie! Only reason for the 1 star is so I could post this.

First time seeing the drive thru not packed around into the lot. Gave it a shot. Sat at the order speaker 10 minutes, watched 20 cars get served, could hear the other speaker going. If i was gonna get service after 20minutes i may as well have gone to an actual resturaunt and gotten real service.

Bonus the drive thru has no barriers so it was easy to pull away to go cook dinner instead of a nice easy night after a hard day of work.

Service was quick, however Quality of item was poor. Thumb broke thru top of Big Mac. Complete online survey with auto reply template after being asked for a follow-up.

Most of the time my order is correct but occasionally I'll get the odd time where there are 2 knives thrown in instead of a fork and knife. This is only through the driverhrough of course and I understand how busy it can get there. Inside is kept well and tidy and with the new renovations its easier on the eyes and lots of different places to sit.
I would recommend this location to anyone.

Food tasted good, but even though it was not busy it took a really long time to get my food. The dining room floor and tables were dirty and the beverage station counter was absolutely filthy, and it was 3pm and not busy. It was gross, to be honest.

Should have more staff on hand during weekend night shift, everytime I go there around 12-2 its always at least a 20 minute wait

The service and quality of the food indoors is great but none of my drivethru food has ever been good, not sure why but I doubt it's the workers since they're hard working people. Edit: Sadly, upon several return visits my orders have been entirely wrong, and we were charged for things we did not receive.

This place is Amazing, if you go there during Lunch hours the restaurant is full of Students and others people love this place.

The food is the same as most McDonald's, but the service is slow slow slow. If you are in a hurry, go somewhere else, cause it ain't fast food during or close to rush hour. This is not just a one off. It's been pretty consistently slow. I hope it gets better and perhaps I've just been unlucky. But I doubt it, based on what others have said. They can do better.

Drive thru on Saturday night was brutal (845 pm). Super disorganized staff (messing up orders, unsure of whose was what). Took almost 20 minutes and there was only like 5 cars in front of me total.

Went through the drive thru backwards and got accused of blocking it, didnt get my food.not the service I expect so 1 star.

Predictable. Three pieces of bacon appeared to be one piece cut into three. Mediocre breakfast at best.

This spot sucks big time. I went to get some ice cream with my gf and her mom yesterday and had a horrible time.the first time we went threw the dive thu we were told the debit is down and need cash, so we went to a bank and got out cash, then went thru agian and the speaker was down so we just ended up sitting there for 10 mins and then left. Then we went back thru there other drive thru lane and wanted other 10 mins until the guy took our order, and he got it wrong and charged me for 3 mc doubles when I just wanted one and didn't even read back the order to conform what I got. This place sucks! Never going back.

Long long wait in the drive through no cars moving at all. They gave extra fries as apology, but gave us the wrong sandwich and no straws. When I stopped back to pick up straws the dining room was locked despite posted hours starting it should be open.

Its does deserve a Five start but this place is very very busy. It was my second time and I felt the same way when I went again. So the fast food quick grab model is somewhat out of the window. Also a contributing factor is coffee at $1.00. There is plenty of staff behind the counter. They are hard working for sure. They are running 12 to 20 order on the board at once. Drive thru was also packed like the last time. So if you wish to grab a quick coffee, I suggest that you allow yourself a BIG 5 minutes additonal to your narmal waiting standard time to alleviate frustration behind the wheel. We ordered 7 drinks from the drive through and waited 30 minutes for them to get our order ready. We eventually got tired of waiting and went in to see what was going on as other vehicles that ordered after us were getting their meals. By the time we got our drinks half of them were cold.

Big chicken only comes once in a lifetime and I thought I found it here. But I was wrong, for you see when I asked for the big chicken they were out of my sauce; and you can not be out and not have the sauce.

I went to McDonald's for a coffee at 4 am in the morning and 2 sausage mcmuffin and waited 35 minutes and I went to McDonald's for a coffee and waited 20 minutes and I will never go there again

Wow, this place was a disaster today. Garbage over flowing, bathrooms were a mess and orders all mixed up. Not impressed.

Quite possibly the slowest fast food restaurant I have been to. And not just the Southside but also the North side. Easily 20 to 30 minutes to get through the drive thru. Out of control!

This place always blows me away with their terrible service, they never know how to run a drive thru and I am constantly given either the wrong order or cold food

Twice in the last week they have made a mistake on my order, and I mean not even close. The service is unbelievably slow. It should not take 20 minutes or more to go through the drive thru with 6 cars ahead of me.

I find myself going to McDonald's for coffee rather than Tim's. I like their coffee, it seems more mellow than Tim's. Also, their seating is more comfortable.

Drive through as well as inside is really slow, everytime i go, its a wait anywhere between 20-30 minutes. Staff is really nice for the most part but wait times could be improved.
