Brilliantly placed. Well appointed. I gathered more for my heritage journey.
Thankyou.

My wife and I stayed there Sept 11-12. Absolutely an amazing experience. Hospitality was amazing. They went above and beyond. Very clean place. So much to learn. We will be back for a longer stay. Thank you so much.

A beautiful summer vacation spot. We camped here twice over the summer in a tipi that fit our family of 4 (plus dog). Everyone was so accommodating. It was a lovely experience and a must if you enjoy camping. There are washrooms with a shower and toilets, as well as a fire pit and mini fridge inside tipi! It felt closer to “glamping”. I can’t wait to go back!

Great tipi, very nice and spacious, however hard to sleep with a few birds squawking early in the morning. Patricia was very nice, and the tipi had lots of amenities such as a fridge, a heater, and a fan. There was also a great view of the stars at night

Very informative. Enjoyed the small movie at beginning. Reading about all the artifacts, & traditions. Would definitely go back as I didn't get to see all the outdoor exhibits due to weather.

I didn't go in for the exhibits on this trip, but the giftshop needs more gifts. Very scarce when I know they have artists in the community.

Just wow. From the moment we arrived, the service was unbelievable. A super warm welcome, with many people around to help

The grounds are impeccable, quiet, serene and the amenities (shower/bathroom and even porta potties) are beyond reproach. We stayed in a tipi - which was super comfortable and contained everything we needed for our stay.

We had one meal at on-site restaurant (Mel’s). The menu was not your typical camping menu / and the food was really, really tasty and super inexpensive. Definitely recommend saving one meal for this place.

Highly suggest taking the guided tour. In additional to hearing some wonderful (and personal) history from our guide Liam, we watched a movie in a beautiful cinema and learned how to make bannock (traditional bread) in the sand. We ate delicious meat and drank refreshing tea. Actually, I can’t imagine coming here, enjoying the beautiful land - and not taking a few hours to listen and learn. Take the tour, you won’t regret it.

Overall, my kids and I rated this part of our summer road trip a 5/5 in all areas.

Nicholas, Liam, Tristan to name a few - you guys are wonderful.

Had the most lovely experience at the Metepenagiag Heritage Park just a few days ago and it was absolutely wonderful! Amazing building, informative displays and friendly, knowledgeable staff!
