Mexi's

I go here a few times and year and I am never disappointed, the food is always well made and never thrown together. It's the best mexican place I've ever been to and I'm from the Toronto area.

Went to Mexi's last night for my first time and it won't be my last. Melissa was our server and was amazing! She was helpful, fun and gave us excellent suggestions for what to order. We will be back

Horrible service and horrible food. I even puked 30 mins after I left because of the old grease they cook there food in. Service was so horrible. Was planning on leaving our server a cash tip even though the service was terrible and when she didn't see it on the debit machine she didn't even say by or thank you or anything so I decided not to tip. Would never go back.

Restaurant was quiet when we went in s a table of 4 and then filled up. Food was excellent and fresh. Margarita was ok seemed to use a premix wish it was made from scratch. Waitress was good but her attention was on the bigger tables on either side of us. Tried the enchiladas for the first time and would definitely get them again. Chimichangas are my usual go to.

Best nachos and Mexican food around, I’m from Mexico and I feel like I’m at home every time I come to Mexi’s, staff is super friendly and warm, I love the music and the atmosphere there.

Mexi's KV is a fantastic restaurant that offers some of the most delicious and authentic Mexican food in town. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by the warm and friendly staff who are always eager to make your dining experience a memorable one. Love it here.

I really enjoyed everything about my experience. I WAS a little scared because of the terrible experiences I have had in Fredericton at a restaurant with the same name.but was pleased with everything.

Friendly and attentive service, delicious food, and a nice relaxed feel. The burger was 10/10.

Sadly my review is negative. I went 4 times before commenting. The food is sub par and overpriced. I used to love Mexis when it was uptown.this new spot is NOTHING like what I remember. The service could bridge a gap but it too is below average. I will not be back and share my experiences with anyone that asks. I don't see it lasting in the Valley, Vito's has much better food and service.

First of the menu it shows is not the menu they have. The food was not worth the price. The fish was more batter then anything, and everything was loaded in salt. Definitely overpriced for what the food is.

Not good. Decor and staff were great food was awful. Quesa tasted like cheese whiz Spanish rice was simply tomato paste and refried bean, I couldn't recognize not good

This place understands the importance of atmosphere. A lot of effort has been put into deco and the art is gorgeous! The food was delicious (though my fried ice cream came to me melted) and the service was accurate and quick even if I was with a huge table during a busy time.

Amazing loaded fries! That alone is worth going there. Food is flavoured pack. Tons of high end tequila. Staff is wonderful! Go give them a try.

Wouldn’t let my son in because he “wasn’t 18” when he tried to get us a table, he felt bad and went home while we still decided to go in
food was soggy, had clearly been sitting for a while, and our server was terribly rude and didn’t pay attention to us

I love Mexis. Kitchen is open till 12! Great place, always a super friendly atmosphere. Got the Carne Nachos and should have split them between the two of us! I got the taco salad with beef as I usually do and it's always delicious! Kelsey was our server this evening and she was pleasant as pie. Will be back, again, and again.

Friendly staff, good food. Would be a 5 star but the noise level was too high. We'd a real challenge to have a clnversation

Waited till today to go to mexi's with my husband for his birthday! There were 4 of us and everyone's meals were fast, hot, and delicious! I am a really picky person and I asked about something getting substituted and they couldn't because it was pre mixed. But the server Courtney talked me into it! Omg I was so glad she did! We will all be back! So happy this is open!

Our 2nd trip here and it was busy! We tried different dishes and it was all delicious, again! Love love love the murals too.

Food was fantastic, as were the margaritas. Loved the art & atmosphere. Staff was amazing.

I don't usually give bad reviews but I was highly disappointed in the food.the service was good but the grub, not so much.they used raw broccoli, red cabbage and carrots for filler in everything we ordered.like who the hell puts raw broccoli and carrots in a taco salad? Maybe my expectations were too high just like the prices.sorry Mexi but this location sucked.

Have not had a chance to eat here. Every time we show up, wait time is way too long. We thought we would give it awhile to settle down and try a forth time. My son was home from University and he had a couple of his friends visiting. As others have mentioned, they do not take reservations, so we expected a wait again, but this time there were 6 of us and we were told they do not have tables for 6 and could not put any tables together to accommodate us. We have given up, no point in wasting our time with this place. Sounds like a pretty poorly thought out location. Just reading these reviews and the fact that no one from Mexi's replies shows little concern or care about locals (who, by the way, become your regulars after all the hype has died down) Sounds like we are not missing anything special based on a lot of the other reviews.

The food is good. The restaurant has been very busy since it's opening. Reservations are not available by phone but you can check at the front door and they will text you when your table is ready.

During our most recent visits I found the noise level a little high (a full house, a realitively small space and music) and with the ambient music it can be a challenge to have a conversation.

I apologize but I didn't get any photos but will add some the next time I visit.

Staff are friendly and service times are acceptable.
