Service was great
Scallops & Risotto tasted like roasted garlic and pepper. There was no flavour besides that. Too bad as the presentation was beautiful.

First time in. Had the Gnocchi absolutely amazing. My wife had the Chicken Alfredo and she loved it. The carrot cake by far the best one I have ever had. We will most certainly be going back. Great service and awesome atmosphere

I thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience at this restaurant. The ambiance was delightful, and the service was prompt. The food, especially the salmon with roasted vegetables, was not only perfect but so delicious that I couldn't resist indulging. The espresso martini was amazing too. I highly recommend this place for its exceptional taste and service. The only downside is that it's a bit on the expensive side.

Honestly the best Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to. Modern design, right downtown, parking close by, and the food is amazing! The ideal date spot. Not really family-oriented but they have spaces to accommodate all kinds. Very accessible in menu- lots of vegan and gluten-free dishes and substitutes available.

We ordered the salmon picatta and the scallop risotto. The picatta has great flavor though I wish there was more sauce. The grilled vegetables were a great side for it and the aglio olio was also very well made but I would have liked more olive oil. The risotto was a bit of a disappointment because the rice was overcooked so it was mushy. But the seafood was treated with the respect it deserves.
The booth we sat at was a little worn, but overall it was still a great atmosphere and the service was really very good.

Beautiful. Highly recommended. Best to reserve a table in advance (even on week nights). Yes it's that popular!

The pasta by itself was well made, tasted good. The sauce was lacking. The meat I had in my dish was tender but the sauce was flavourles.

If you're from a bigger city and have authentic Italian restaurants, I don't recommend this place.
Being Italian and making my own pasta and sauces this place is not authentic. The pasta dishes we ordered were just ok at best. I like fresh and simple ingredients and this place did not offer me that.

Such a different atmosphere when you get inside, very friendly staff, especially Sam. Was very professional & knowledgeable individual to help us choose meals to our liking. Have had dinner twice upstairs and each time was impeccably well. The mushroom ravioli was delicious, the shrimp app & the tasty peanut butter cheesecake. Will forever be a customer.

The pasta here is excellent, we had the Luna zucca, beef pappardelle and mushroom ravioli. The Calamari was also a hit. Great cocktails also, espresso martini is a favourite. Our server Vanessa was friendly and very attentive. Vanessa made excellent menu suggestions. We will definitely be back!

We came here to celebrate a family member's wedding anniversary with a group of 5. The atmosphere was great, the service was welcoming and prompt, the food was delicious, and they were accommodating of several various dietary restrictions. Danielle was very friendly and helpful. The highlight: they brought gluten free bread for the table.

My husband and I had a great experience at MOCO. We ordered the Brie and Artichoke Dip, Arancini, a small Czar salad (amazing dressing) for our apps and the Lasanga and the Pasta Speacial for our mains. Every single item was so flavourful and delicious! Vanessa is also an incredible server! After dinner we said that we couldn't remember the last time we had such an amazing restaurant experience. Thank you! We are looking forward to our next visit.

Where do I start? It was terrible. Party of four. Two of us had Chicken Parmesan which was unlike any chicken parm we have ever had before. It came with deep fried chicken (almost blackened and tough) a tiny bit of cheese on top accompanied with soggy pasta and a highly acidic tomato sauce.
My wife had Linguini Pescatore which had not even an ounce of seafood (shrimps and scallops were extremely tiny) and for an absolutely exorbitant price. The third dish was Mushroom Ravioli
and was passable only.
I lived in Fredericton for 32 years and this was the worst meal I ever had. In all fairness the waitress did an excellent job and was very friendly.

Service was great.calamari was fine my salad (for 16.00) was disappointing. I guess I expected more flavor.my husband had the beef pappade (I think that is how it is spelt) was pretty bland.
Best thing was the service.
But prices are high for what you get.

Very tasty pasta, very busy and just note that due to small size it is quite loud, so not a quiet date spot, but great to have a nice dinner with friends.

We were in from out of province visiting friends and this restaurant was recommended to us. First off I am happy to say the service was phenomenal. Our server was very attentive and checked on us frequently even on a Friday night at a peak time. Her name was Ashley. Ashley was able to answer any questions we had and was very friendly. The bad part of the night was 0 salt or much flavour in any of the food we had. We paid almost $30 for a charcuterie board that had what we figured was a pre bought/pre cooked ham, store packed spicy soppressata, a couple pieces of cheese and flavourless pâté. If you want a place for great service I highly recommend. Food was “meh” at best.

Good food and service. My only complaint being the serving of the risotto was too generous. Half the amount of rice would be suffice, and the sugar on the creme Brule was too thick.

We ordered the calamari, arancini and pappardelle. The pasta was a standout here.m - it's fresh and made in-house. Our server, Keshia, was very friendly and attentive - great service!

? I wish I could take this food back to Montreal it was SO GOOD! The Garlic Parm Cheese Bites and the Arancini were our apps and wow, they were so flavourful. My meal of choice was the Braised Beef Pappardelle and I really enjoyed this dish! The beef was moist and the pasta was just the right texture.

Nice restaurant with very good Italian fare. Fish dish (I had bass) was done well. Good sized portions as well. Service was friendly, and seating comfortable. Don't forget their desserts!

I ordered Sicilian calamari to start and beef tenderloin medium while I actaully wanted rare. Their side dish menu is very limited. I cannot have dairy so I mentioned to the server that I wanted the parm mash potatoe but I'll get fries because I can't have cheese. Other side orders seem to have cheese. This place looks like a niche fine dining place but it has family owned diner or a pub vibe with inexperienced servers. Before I get to the main course I wanna mention the calamari. The calamari was very salty and soggy but it wasnt horrible so I ate it. The server completely forgot about my mother in law's appetizers order and they brought the bread with olive about 20 minutes after they served us appetizers. Later came the server saying they don't have the wine we ordered so got a different bottle of wine. Anyway, we eventually received the food but they mixed up my beef tenderloin with my father in law's well done tenderloin. Luckily we were able switch the meet and the beef was actually cooked the way I really wanted, rare. It is crazy tho to bring a rare beef tenderloin to a person who ordered it medium well. My fries had parmesan grated on top even though I specifically mentioned that I cant have cheese. I did eat it all and it was delicious but i really shouldn't have. Then for dessert, as a dairy free person my only option was sorbet but they were out of sorbet so I wasn't able to have desert.
In summary, I'm not impressed. Just happy I'm not poisoned at this point but wait, the fries came with parmesan grated on top so.

Wonderful all around. Sicilian calamari, mushroom ravioli, beef pepperdelle, carrot cake, and a few drinks. Great tastes, ambiance, and good service.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here recently and are so glad we did as the food and service were amazing! When making a reservation, we asked for a quiet/private table and they absolutely delivered on that request - it felt like only the two of us were there! We enjoyed great apps, mains and cocktails. I would definitely recommend Moco to anyone looking for a great dining experience!

After two weeks of traveling around the maritimes, this was our last meal while heading home. It was probably the best of them all. Escargot, crab ravioli and fettuccine Alfredo were all great. Love the fact that they have homemade pasta. The service was excellent.

Good food, good service. Would be 5 stars if the prices were a tad bit better for the area. It's a rare treat to go out for a $100 meal for 2 in Fredericton but it is enjoyable. Artic Char was overdone on my last visit but everything else I've tried was great.

If you're looking for an excellent dining experience this is a must try. They have some really well thought out appetizers, entrees and their desserts are amazing. My wife and I came here to celebrate a recent anniversary and we're so pleased by the amazing customer service. When we reserve we ask for a quiet table and we got just that. May I recommend table 30? It's a quiet spot that faces the window and if you're in good company like I was time will melt away. My wife and I tried four different cocktails from their menu and shared them amongst ourselves and we were very pleased with how well thought out and curated the drinks were. We also really loved our main and found that the food seemed to be really thought out and it wasn't just a menu to have a menu. Our waitress also went above and beyond offering us some of the best service we've ever had. If you're looking for a romantic night or want to celebrate a special occasion then I would highly recommend this lovely restaurant.

Amazing food. Ours was a group of 7 and every dish we ordered was delicious! The service was great and the ambiance was fantastic.

They could probably have more options on the wine menu, but apart from that no other complaints.

The fastest restaurant I've ever been to! On top of that the food tastes very good! ''Private" atmosphere and an excellent service. A special Thanks for Christine who made the time we spent at the restaurant great! Come and see for yourself.

Two excellent dinners, reasonably priced wine, and very pleasant ambience. Definitely worth a visit, but expect $$$ not $$. Still worth it.

Party of 8 for birthday dinner & everything was lovely. Pasta was amazing, server was friendly and efficient, and the Tiramisu fantastic.

Amazing food. Their beet salad and rice/cheese croquets are something to write home about. I would give half a star off for smaller portions, but they are so tasty it rounds up to a 5 anyways.

Fantastic food! Probably much better for eat-in than takeout especially at the price point. I did takeout and it was delicious with some setbacks so my rating is giving them the benefit of the doubt. I'll be back for more in person:)

I enjoyed all of their pastas:
Shrimp puttanesca was tasty: shrimp wasn't rubbery and I loved the saltiness from the olives.
Sunday Pasta is a delicious standard and held well for travel; noodles and sauce we're fantastic and the meatballs were a little dry.
Beef pappardele was too dry the day-of and the pasta stuck together BUT it was the best of the lot on day 2 when I added a little extra water before warming it up - it's an inevitable side effect from the takeout but I'm happy to enjoy it from the comfort of my home.

I'd be up for just ordering the escargot with the crostini to-go for easy dipping. It would be enjoyable out on a park bench with a few extra napkins for the buttery goodness. Divine!

Calamari is no good for takeout: it gets soggy and I didn't enjoy the way the chickpea flour worked post-travel home.

The place was crowded so don't expect a peaceful ambience and yea, crowded because food was amazing. Haven't had Italian for quite some time and I am glad I picked MOCO. The restaurant is listed as $$ but should have been $$$.

Tonight was the first night of MOCO Downtown’s summer menu, with the smoked chicken supreme and the Arctic char being two of summer entree menu options. The chicken and the Arctic char came with your choice of contorni (side dish). We all loved our entrees, the food is amazing, so fresh and delicious. The pasta is handmade. We also had the Brie and artichoke dip, and the charcuterie board as appetizers (we dug in so fast I forgot to take a picture) The prices reflect the quality of food, and MOCO Downtown does not disappoint. The staff are very professional and tentative.

In a town of mostly mediocre food, this place never disappoints! Hand made pasta s that are a flavor explosion. Highly recommend.

Love this place! I've been here a couple of times with my family before and it is such an amazing place! Fresh food, delicious and AMAZING staff!

First time at Moco downtown. I had the shrimp puttanesca. Very very pleased with the dish. All was cooked perfectly, and there was just so much flavour in the dish. Looking forward to tye next visit.

Delicious food and drinks. A high end atmosphere that also feels cozy. Staff were very friendly and our food arrived very quickly. Great spot for a date night with friends or a partner!

Really great experience! MOCO is always busy and we forgot to make a reservation but they are very nice and able to seat us at the bar. The service was fantastic! Would recommend! They were very accommodating to any allergies/preference! 10/10

If you’re looking for great food in Fredericton, look no further! I spent 3 weeks in Fredericton and ended up eating here for most of my meals or getting takeout from here. It’s tasty, it’s versatile, and everything I’ve had has been excellent. The lamb chops were my favorite, and their daily specials are always a good bet. I was not impressed with the restaurant scene in Fredericton until I came to Moco, it was a breath of fresh air and the staff is super friendly. The wine selection is excellent and they have a number of healthy options. Thanks Moco!

I don't normally take the time to review, but this was an exception. During a business lunch, I had the best local Italian ever and the service was amazingly proactive. I had a ravioli dish, and can't wait to go back and try some more menu items!

Food was amazing! Service was great! We tried a few different apps and desserts and the were all the delicious. You have to try the lobster ravioli.

For the quality of the meal, it was quite over-priced. $8 for a handful of shrimp tossed with $12 overcooked pasta is a bit egregious. The staff was great, so I don't fault them at all.

We've ordered take out once and dined in twice and always amazing! The rack of lamb, their take on caesar salad, brown butter gnocchi, walnut pesto escargot and the mushroom ravioli are all must haves. We order all every time as we just can't chose. We have had an issue with steak doneness but that was quickly rectified. I would like to request a walnut pesto pasta if it's not a special already in the rotation as it is just amazing! Every time we visit Fredericton, Moco is a must for dinner.

Love going here for special occasions, or on Thursday half price apps night! A great spot for delicious Italian food. I love the house made pasta.
