Jess B. Was our waitress. She was very pleasant & checked on us frequently. We had ordered our appetizers and meals and received all of our food in only 17 minutes. We were blown away! Everything was hot and delicious. Thank you for the great meals and service.:)

Ryley was a great server. She knew the menu well and came back to check on us many times. Even brought refills of the drinks without having to be asked!

Montana's is hands down the best restaurant I've been to in a long time. The food was amazing and the service was even better thanks to Mercedes, our server. She was friendly, efficient and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. If you're looking for a fantastic dining experience, look no further than Montana's and ask for Mercedes.

Waited for 30 mins for a reservation, came back for the agreed time, only to be told that the reservation was canceled, and it would be another 30 mins. Not exactly feasible with 4 hungry kids.

We had mercedes as our server and she was the best ever.i have never seen such amazing service.she deserves a raise! She slays so hard and she is so beautiful and stunning and kind and miraculous.we love her.

We were at montanas today for dinner, the food was great, and the proportions are great. The server Nikki was great, bubbly, and she takes care of us. Surely will comeback

Stingy on the takeout orders. The spinach dip appetizer was hardly enough for 2 people, especially for the cost.

My friends and I dined at Montana's on Depot Drive, Saint John, NB, Saturday night Dec 10th and we had Tracey B as a waitress and the meals were very tasty but we were so impressed with Tracey, she was sweet, charming and made us feel so very welcome. Thank you for a great meal and EXCELLENT waitress and service, MERRY CHRISTMAS to you all.

Won’t be back. Had a rude experience with wait staff. Called someone about it and never got back to me. Told co workers about it and my office cancelled 3 planned Christmas dinners there of roughly 10 - 12 people per team, teammate’s husband also took Montana’s off the short list of places to eat with his own work colleagues of approximately 8 people. Finally, a relative cancelled went elsewhere for their daughter’s 16th birthday dinner once they heard the story. Ribs are good but not good enough to deal with what we did.

We had the beef nachos with extra jalapeño. It was delicious. Toppings evenly distributed. We shared the chipotle burger. The burger was dry, as if it was freezer burnt. The toppings itself wasn’t for us- the bbq sauce was sweet and the rest was not very flavourful.

Twice I had booked reservations and specifically told them that it was my child's birthday and asked if they still did anything for birthdays, mainly just coming over to sing Happy Birthday because that's what we always used to do before covid and traditionally my kids always wanted to go there for the birthday. Last two times I've gone there we made sure everything was all good and then nothing. We had an order of beef nachos and there is only a handful of chips for $20. There's a local food truck that sells nachos that is massive and well done for under that price. The chips are the cheapest part so why skimp on those? Everyones sides were also done before the food because you could tell that everything was sitting under a heat lamp. The fries were oddly chewy and the apple slices from my son's meal had turned brown because they were sitting, it doesn't look appealing on a plate. Just cut it up before it comes out, it doesn't even take 20 seconds to do. And you get a small Dixie cup of made from Powder gravy, for $3. The people working were nice, but that's where it stops. I think we've finally given up on this place.

Went there this evening with some family.atmosphere was great, food was excellent and our server was friendly, smiling, she made sure to check in on us as we were a big table and was quick to get us anything we needed, fabulous job Nikki.

We were today for the first time, ordered Canadian burgers.
Potatoes and salad and sauces were great, but the burgers are not takin tasty, especially the taste of the meat inside. I couldn't even eat half.: (

Waited 40 minutes after ordering before informing our server that we were leaving. Seeing that two other parties who arrived after us ordered, were served, ate, and left before our server once made eye contact with us before finally informing us that it shouldn't be much longer, made the decision easy.

Ordered from skip the dishes you guys didn't accept the order for a half hour than gave my food to the wrong courier very unimpressed with this and I will be sharing my experience on Facebook and going in and making a compliment

Food was tasty, location was clean and staff was friendly. It wasn't very busy so food was served quickly. Only downside was the presentation of the food. It was a bit sloppy and when we ask the waitress for some extra napkins we received a few tiny cocktail napkins. Not enough to clean up after a messy burger.

This was the worse meal I had for a long time.
Waited for over an hour for our food.
Steak was dried out and cold butter would not melt on the patato and gravy was barley Luke warm.
For got my corn bread.
I reminded the waiter and she finally brought it to the table, this was warm and was the best part of the meal.
The manager did get us a new patato.
Didn't want to wait for a new stake.
He did take $15.00 off the bill for three orders.
The whole meal was not worth 15.00

Very long wait. 20 minutes waiting for a table standing in doorway with 3 anxious kids. Then another 1/2hr wait for our starter then who knows how long for our main course. Maybe booking more people than the staff and kitchen can keep up with is the problem. Been here many times but this time I was not happy with the long wait with kids with us

Ordered delivery with SkipTheDishes and got the Big Smoke Sampler.

The beef and pulled pork were dry to the point of being inedible. The next morning, I have severe diarrhea and am feeling nauseous. It is very possible that their meat is expired or has not been handled well.

I recommend that you all stay safe and do not eat here. Trust me, your body will not be able to handle it.

EDIT: Will be needing to go to the hospital. Expect a visit from the local health / food inspection authorities.

My family (son, wife) and I were quickly seated, drinks delivered, and orders taken. After that, we did not see our server for over 45 minutes. When she was going to attend another table, we asked her for an update on our order. She said she would quickly check. She then continued to attend to other tables for about 10-15 minutes, disappeared, and came back another 5 minutes later to say that "there was a mixup" and our order was just put in. I asked how much time we would be waiting. She said she couldn't say, but "probably 10 minutes or more" at which time I asked her to cancel the order and we left. This is the second time we've experienced poor service at this location after having a similar incident about 6 months ago. I'm not going to be unrealistic and say we'll never be back, but it has quickly gone from being our go-to with our son.

Changing my rating. We went on a Wednesday for supper and the food was good and reasonably priced. However our waitress had to take a huge reservation, that's fine but no one told us! I had to flag someone down to get assistance. I have never in my memory ever left a restaurant without tipping. I did tonight because we had no waitress after our orders were submitted and no one was reassigned our table. Poor planning on the managers part here I would assume. It's too bad our family of five enjoys eating here.

My daughter and I, both had different meals and both meals had to be sent back because they where burnt. Thier was about 15 people at our table and everyone was done eating by the time I got my meal. I was the last one to get my meal, cause someone forgot I have a gluten allergy and forgot to do my fries differently and my chicken was burnt the meal was horrible. I had the same meal at my Christmas party I really enjoyed it. Very disappointed when I left Montana's last night.

The waitress was quick to take our order and bring our drinks but then we didn't see her for another 45 minutes when our food finally arrived. Food was not hot and appeared thrown together quickly. There was also a terrible cold draft

"lobster" mac'n'cheese, had 2 pieces of lobster,
southern chicken sandwich was soggy with pickle juice.
I would not recommend their takeout.

Had a resetvation for 7pm with family being down for the holidays, waited over an hour for food. Some of it came cold and raw some came almost a half hour after. The deep fried pickles we ordered for appitizers took 45 mins and were cold. Service was terrible. Manager ended up giving us and others our meals for free it was that bad. Will not be back.

Awful experience! This place needs new management and quicker service! Cold food and have to wait 2+ hours for your food!

Terrible Service, Food was Cold, We even had a reservation and I didn't attend this Montana's for 10 years due to the service as I can see now it hasn't changed. I will not be back.

My Hubby and I were there tonight with our two kids. Our server (Josh) was amazing, he was great with both kids. His customer service was excellent! He definitely saved our visit and we will be back again and I hope we get him as our server!

Server was friendly, as was the young lady who greeted us. Restaurant was clean. Food tasted good. Only issues were I ordered a medium steak, and it came out rare. Usually I would've just sent it back, but my wife and I went as a last minute decision before our movie date so we were pressed for time for them to make us a new one. The thing was so pink I'm surprised I didn't hear it moo when I stuck a fork in it. The servers, while friendly, were also a little slow. The restaurant was dead, there were only a couple other people eating in the whole establishment but it took quite a while for them to come clean our plates and present our bill. We also never got our refills on our drinks.

Went to Montanas for anniversary supper tonight with my wife and was not happy with the service or the food. I ordered buttermilk chicken and it had an outrageous amount of sauce, the potatoes were cold when it got the the table and not even half way through my meal I was without a drink and without my waitress in sight. She never asked us how our appetizers were and never checked on us during our meal at all until after we stopped eating.

1 star is pushing it. We went to Montana's in Saint John yesterday for my son's birthday. We will not make that mistake again. Our grandbabies who were with us were looking forward to seeing the workers sing Happy Birthday to their dad, which we had foretold them would happen. We let our server know when we arrived so she could set it up. After watching a few other tables receiving the celebration, it never happened to us and our grandbabies left very disappointed on their daddy's birthday. The server forgot, or didn't really care, she never told us which. Our food was not great, not worth the money we paid. The fish that my husband and I ordered was over cooked, the sweet potato fries that my son and I ordered were cold and no ranch dressing as per the menu. By the time we even saw our server again, we were almost done our meals, so the ranch dressing never happened. I'd like to say the restaurant was very busy and we could understand, but it wasn't. Our server came back at the end of the meal and asked what dessert the babies wanted, she never brought them. Instead she just brought the bill and at that point (after helping her with her math to figure out the bill) we were more than happy to just get out of there. So, thanks Montana's, for ruining a night that was supposed to be special.

I liked the steak that I had but not food of the side dishes.i will edit this to say I am fussy and there is not anything on the menu for sides that i like except bake potato. I am sure the side dishes are great I just don't eat them.

Had supper last night, our waitress Emily was absolutely fabulous. She was fast polite and so funny. Absolutely had a great experience this time. Great service goes a long way. Food was hot and delicious.

Montanas has great service and friendly staff. Our waiter was attentive and efficient. The food was excellent. The restrooms were clean. Lots of parking.
