Mountain Road After Hours Medical Clinic

Called multiple times only to get voicemail stating that the clinic is either closed or full and to call on their next scheduled shift, but when you call them on their next scheduled shift receptionist picks up and hangs up almost immediately without even speaking. This kind of service is absurd and unacceptable. Maybe they should hire a much more professional receptionists rather than having someone answer the phone and hang up as soon as they pick up the call.

My mom saw her family doctor a few weeks ago. Among the discussion of regular bloodwork we also discussed her hearing loss as of late. The doctor looked in her ears and said there was an accumulation of dry ear wax. My mom would now need to put olive oil in her ears. She says this earwax may come out on its own; and If that doesn’t happen she would flush this wax out at her next appointment in 2 & 1/2 months! It came to my attention that Jean Coutu doctors did this procedure of earwax flushing. We put oil in my mom’s ears for 4 days and last night the earwax came out and my mom can hear again! So thankful for this after hour clinic. We need more of these clinics so that we don’t have to wait for months to get these sort of procedures done at our family doctors.

Im confused as to how one makes an appointment. I understand the staff is busy and same day bookings may not be possible but if the phone is only answered by a recording stating the clinic is full for the day, how do I make an appointment? If I walk to the clinic will an appointment be offered for the next day with availability if booked up for the same day?

Très compliqué d'avoir quelqu'un au téléphone. Sinon, ça dépanne dans le cas où on n'a pas de médecin de famille. Attention, vous ne pouvez consulter que pour une seule affaire! Donc imaginons que vous avez des problèmes gastriques et des problèmes d'asthme, un seul problème sera traité et vous devrez reprendre un rdv pour le reste. Oui oui, vous avez bien lu. Je m'adresse en particulier au public français, qui pourrait être surpris de cette pratique. Sinon, je n'ai pas le sentiment en sortant d'ici d' avoir été écoutée et prise au sérieux quant à ma santé.

Got an appointment fairly quickly. Called and made an appointment for the next day. The doctor was so friendly and understanding. (can't remember her name). Recommend this clinic.

My mom just went to see the clinic doctor, and according to her, whoever Dr. Leblanc is, didn't offer any sort of humane service. No blood pressure check, no temperature check, nothing. Just brushed her off and basically made her fend for herself. It felt as though she was discriminated against because of the English language barrier. New Brunswick healthcare is an absolute joke. Higgs government would rather spend millions revamping our sick education system to accommodate more french immersion rather than fix our badly broken, no compassion healthcare system.

RIgged - if you don't have Bell you can not get through. Only bell customers have automatic redial where you call once and as soon as lines are open you get through. All other cell phone providers do not offer this feature! I even set up an auto redial app on my phone where as soon as I hang up it immedietly redials the number and I could still not get through. I called 358 according to my phone and could not get through.
Forget this place. What kind of system is this? So unfair.what ever happened to walk in clincs accepting walk ins?

Receptionist was very rude from very beginning. Can't make an appointment when you walk in even though there isn't anyone in lobby, it's so dumb. I cant make an appointment through the phone as the line is never reachable. They do not care about you. Healthcare right now in this province is in shambles. Disappointed. The clinic is completely useless don't bother going. Receptionist was disrespectful and didn't care about anything I had to say. I cant make an appointment through the phone as the line is never reachable. I also tried making an appointment in person when the room was completely empty with no clients and of course i get rejected! Now I have to constantly call them like a dog and waste my time. They do not care about you. DO NOT COME HERE FOR THE CLINIC!
