First time there and the staff are the best followed by the food and atmosphere we will be back.

I should have taken a photo. The special of the day was a half serving of clams, one piece of fish with coleslaw and french fries. Everything was delicious and there was a lot of food. Will definitely be stopping in again.

Went here with my wife. We started by sharing a large seafood chowder. It was great and had lots of fresh seafood. I had the fried clams here. They were cooked to perfection and was a good portion. My wife had the scallops and she was equally as happy. This was a quick lunch on a quick trip to Alma. Well worth the visit. See you again.

Great onion rings and beer selection. Very friendly and helpful staff. Decor was a bit austere and could use more character, but we enjoyed this stop on our Alma pub crawl

Enjoyed a great meal Oct. 5th, 2020 after touring the Fundy Trail. Had a great waitress that offered up samples of the craft brews available. Service was prompt and the food was delicious. My wife had the chicken wings and she thought they were really good. We split the scallops appetizer and the 2 piece fish and chips. The scallops cooked in butter and garlic were perfect, very tasty. The batter on the fish was the best I have had in years. Ample fries and home made coleslaw. Will be back for sure.

Fantastic. Lovely atmosphere, friendly service and a Cook that obviously Loves what they do! Had the chicken pasta special, amazing, wife had the Captains burger, incredible Thank you everyone at Muddy Rudder for a truly special dinner!

We were here in August with the girls from Spain. Our waiter was very helpful. Thank you so much Javi for the expierence! Best food and service ever! We hope we see you again guapo

Lobster roll was simply made with mayo, no added seasoning and for the price was lacking claw meat.
Pulled pork was extremely dry and flavorless.
They have Gluten-free options for their sandwiches, however, unfortunately the buns were not buttered and toasted.

Favorite restaurant of our 3 nights in Alma. Server was personable, great sense of humor. Asked us questions to get to know us.

Great younger vibe where we sat on the outside deck. Excellent food.

Cookstaff and waitstaff do a great job. If you have only one night in Alma I would recommend supper this restaurant.

They appetized take out but they don't do takeout if they have dine in customers, apparently.

Holy WOW! The food is FANTASTIC! The portions were huge! This place is a definite stop in while in Fundy Bay Provincial Park. Mmmm yum. Had the Captain burger. So huge and so delicious. My husband had the special Cajun Chicken Pasta the flavours coming out of that pasta are magnificent! You can tell that the cook/S take pleasure in what they do.

I grew up in Nova Scotia and used to having really fresh good seafood and this place did not disappoint, glad we went there for our 25th anniversary, we will most definitely go there again, I had the clams and my husband had the fish and the waiter was so nice

The best steak I've had in an extremely long time. It was an awesome meal all the way around.

This was a lovely place to visit. We had live entertainment and good food. It was a good adventure for us.

Stopped by after hiking through Fundy National park. The server was attentive and honestly when above and beyond what I'm used to back home in Ontario. Serving sizes were large for the 2 piece fish and chips.

Amazing pulled pork. Live music when we were there. Everyone loved their meals…would happily return!

We have just been in Cape Breton PEI and no fun B And had quite a few seafood dinners As others have stated the muddy rudder It is new and clean and a family friendly restaurant. All food was fresh hot, fish batter was crisp and portion sizes were great. Their seafood chowder was the best I'd had, With lots of seafood versus lots of potato at other restaurants. Service timing was great between apps/entree's/ desserts. Kudos to the chef's, serving staff and management for providing a great dining experience.

Our family of 8 enjoyed a late lunch today at The Muddy Rudder. By far, the very best sweet potato fries on the planet, outstanding seafood chowder - everything was absolutely delicious and the service was sincerely, top shelf! Highly recommend!

Great visit. Seafood chowder was excellent. Spinach and artichoke dip was "the best ever". Service was excellent. Waiter was fun.

Had clam chouder and fish n chips.
Chouder was creamy, tasty with lots of seafood, everything was fresh.
Service was good, drink menu very limited.

The services was great and the server. We had an enjoyable eating time, server was very friendly. A young gentleman from Spain. Food was good, clams were delicious, Ceasar salad and onion rings. We would go again.
