Murray's Restaurant

Great place for weary travellers to grab a bite to eat and rest. Food was fantastic. Server was very nice and polite to a level rarely seen today.

Best decision ever! Was headed west after a trip to Nova Scotia and stopped at this restaurant. Ordered the Hot Turkey Sandwich and it was fantastic. I have been searching for the perfect hot turkey sandwich for years and this hit perfectly. It was classic, with soft bread, turkey, homemade gravy with peas, carrots, mashed potatoes (or crinkle cut fries) and coleslaw. What more can I ask for? I also ordered the chocolate pie, which was chocolate pudding, whipped cream on a pie crust - delicious! And Ashley, our server, was phenomenal. This restaurant deserves 5 stars.

We stopped for a late lunch and had the Murray's breakfast and the hot turkey sandwich, and finally the chocolate? Pie. And it was all amazing and hit the mark for us. The waitress, Ashley, was also super friendly and was a pleasure to chat with. This was my 2nd time at Murray's and would love to come back when I'm driving thru the Maritomes again. Thanks Ashley and the team (cooks) for the amazing food.

Nice truck stop grub. Food was fast, tasty, and fresh. Nice basic fare. Service was friendly.

Excellent place to eat, clean with an excellent staff. Lots of truck parking, showers, conveniently located of Hwy exit 191.

The staff are awesome and friendly, the food tastes great and for a great price, definitely miss coming here on a regular basis.

Had breakfast with my granddaughter and son in law. It was a reasonable wait to get our order. Friendly staff. Food portions were good. I would recommend stopping by if you are hungry.

Best hamburger meal ever and that just before closing. DC charging station was also working. Many in Ontario did not. Yet I made the entire trip to St. John in my Chevi Bolt EV.

Nice greasy spoon type of place. Food came as ordered and also faster than expected. Service was great. This place is attached to the gas station, so I wouldn't say it's a place to go for a special meal but it certainly is perfect for a quick sit down meal.

Small town truck stop greasy spoon kinda place. Waitress was chatty and very personable. What I ordered was pretty good too. Well worth the tip

I’ve been waiting to order takeout for about 20min and the waitress was passing by at least 10 times near me without even looking at me, I was going closer and closer to her until she said it’s just me and she can’t help me… VERY rude
Then she sent someone from kitchen to serve me also rude because they are under staffed.

They need to educate their staff on how to behave with customers

What a wonderful place. Such friendly, courteous staff. After driving for 19 hours, unable to get a hotel, they shared their truck stop room with us and provided free tea and coffee. Thanks so much.

I make the trip from Ontario to PEI often. Murray's is the only place to eat. Excellent home made meals every time. Fast friendly service.

Meals were great hot and just like home cooked meals fresh backed bread and rolls as well as home made dessert well worth going for dinner

Not pleasant, service extremely slow, and food is not great, expensive for the quality. My father asked for his gravy on the side and was charged 2.50 extra. I asked for my sandwich with white bread, they charged me an extra 2.50 because it was homemade and it was not fresh. Service was poor and the restaurant was not busy, all around bad experience! Food not exceptional. Won’t go back!

We have eaten here for 17 years. In the last 3 to 4 years the quality of the food has gone down and prices have gone up. 2 small fries with gravy no drinks with tip exceeded $20.00. The fries were hard and over cooked and the beef gravy was like paste. We will travel further now for just a simple lunch.

Very good breakfast! Very hot and tasted fresh. Scrambled eggs were a tiny bit watery but still a great spot to grab some breakfast! Server's we're extremely friendly and for only being two working at the time, they were quick and efficient! Thank you ladies!

Great restaurant, great service and parking for trucks second to none. I stop there as often as I can. They make great liver and onions!

Nice spot, first place I've been in a long while that gives refills on the iced tea.
I had a delicious Quesadilla it was big enough that I could not finish my fries.
The waitress was very attentive and gave me the refill and I didn't even have to ask.
All around good experience.

Food is ok its no big stop the people who work here and the store part rude and vary racist to everyone this place has really gone down hill bad only stop if I need a tims think that's the only thing keep this place open

Had dinner here while passing though. The food was good. The staff was friendly and attendtive. Dinner was reasonably priced. And this was while they had a line waiting to be seated.
All in all, had a good meal at a decent price. Then topped off the tank before heading back to the motel.

Really nice store and super friendly staff. Great spot to fill up and grab some food. The only problem is the parking is severely lacking during peak times. A lot of cars end up parking in the electric car stalls because there are no other spots available. Still no a big enough issue to prevent us from visiting again.

I usually stop here when travelling to/from Ontario. Easy access around the gas pumps and there is a Tim Horton's here as well.

Hit and miss. Also if they make a mistake on your order, they don't rectify it. I love their loaded poutine though when it's made right

Lunch was OK but my server was not very attentive or friendly. I had to wait for service then almost 10min to get the drink I had ordered.

Food is delicious, service is friendly and fast. You can go out for a smoke, fill up on gas and food. Bathrooms are clean and humongous. There's also a Timmies right nextdoor. You can come into the lounge and relax, and payable showers if you need one.

Food was decent but a bit on the pricey side, service was friendly but barely adequate. Disappeared basically after she dropped off the meal

MARIE our server was great, my sister on law has to have pureed food. They were happy to heat up the soup we brought with us into the restaurant. Thank you for being so accommodating.

Excellent food, fabulous variety in the menu, coupled with great staff, this spot has definitely earned my repeat business.

A friend took me there one time and I loved it. Great service and great hospitality. More food than I could eat but was delicious. Now all my friends stop in there on their way down east. They all love it there also.
