NAPA AUTOPRO - York Auto Service Ltd.

I went to this place to get an oil cooler seals replacement on Mercedes Sprinter 3.0l 2016 Keep in mind that the motor is a new fully assembled Crate engine that been put in my van in the summer 2020 by the Dealership.
The mechanic experience a hard time to get the parts out (stubborn bolts and some snapped) I totaly understand that is part the of mechanic life.
Despite the fact that it took 16hrs rather than 8 estimated I didn't complain.
Where I have an issue with the service they offered is a bunch of bolts and brackets have been simply discarded 5 brackets to be exact, witch are critical to hold the intercooler-turbocharge pipes in place and I have been send on my way with a mayor fuel leak that been fixed the next day.
I broke down on my way back home. A had to go to the dealership to find out what exactly was missing with the approval of NAPA head office.
I explained the situation to the dealership in collaboration with the NAPA head office.
The dealership misunderstood the situation OR they simply tried to make York auto service paid for some parts that was in perfect condition and still cover by the dealership warranty by the way. (People do weird stuff for a few dollars sometimes). We've been told by York that my vehicle is a ''lack of maintenance- falling apart- chicken wire''. Well, even IF you think it's the case it's not a good raison to make it worse. Thanks for the help.
York refuses to take any responsibility or paid for any critical partsand bolts that have been neglectfully discarded.
So by the way I am not out of trouble yet after a mayor oil leak appears I noticed there is a bunch of bolts are missing on EGR system too.
Any Garage can say we are a good one when things go well.

This is an amazing place to bring your car. I have been going here for almost 20 years and have never gone anywhere else. I have also bought 4 cars from them and all have been great. Likewise, I send people to them whenever the topics come up. Not only that, but I always say, "they are honest as the day is long". Honesty isn't always something we find in a car repair place.

Always honest advise and awesome service. Over 15 years of doing work we never have issues.

Had our BMW serviced here. Great people, hats off to Ryan's great customer service. Did all the work we asked for at a very fair price. We will return with all our service and maintenance.

Our son Anthony has a 13 bmw which had multiple issues. Took it to York auto for diagnosis and later for repair. The service advisor and the techs are top notch. 5 stars all the way. Highly recommend! Thanks guys. You’re the best.

My porsche has driven 3000km from napa auto service and the engine is noisy, I came here to check my engine, they took 6 hours and they didn't detect anything wrong, they said I can drive to Halifax safely Porsche dealer, but it only took 2 hours for the Porsche dealer to detect the problem and they said napa auto's unprofessional maintenance caused damage to my engine block. My backup camera is 20% invisible after their repair it is 80% invisible and they told me to change the camera.
In the end, I spent $600 labor cost and it didn't fix anything, the damage to my engine block cost me $23000 due to their unprofessionalism.
