Osprey Convenience and Truck Stop

I just got off the Maritimes Bus and my friend was a little late to pick me up. It was raining so I went in and asked for a beer but was told that you have to be playing the Gambling Machines to get a drink, so I put in $20.00 but lost it in 3mins and came back to get my beer. Budweiser is only $4.50 and had already paid for it when I went to play. I got back to get the beer which was already opened, but the bartender asked me if I was still playing but I said I don't have any more money to play. She said then you can't have the beer if you are not playing. I was more puzzled then angry so I asked her then can I get my money back. She said the beer is already opened. Now what, I asked, but the poor bartender couldn't say anything. I just told her to keep the beer and the money and left. I had no idea some parts of New Brunswick had suck policies.

This was an amazing place to stop at! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The showers were clean and nice and warm. The food at the restaurant was excellent, and they even had gluten-free options!
I have nothing but great things to say about this place and the people who work here.

On the north shore of NB from Bathurst through to Kedgewick there are only a few good sitdown restaurants. The Osprey has become a favorite with our family. Great staff and food and a big thing with me is consistant. There is the odd meal and very odd that I don't care for but the majority I love. Always a good meal, always great staff.

Friendly people! Had an amazing restaurant at one point. Hope they open again.
