Misplaced my m. 2 screw for my ssd and they hooked it up with some free screws, their customer service is really good!

Walked in their shop with questions about hardware possibly building a new computer. The employees walked around like chickens with their heads cut off completely confused like they've never built a computer. I would expect a company with the name such as PC Girls to have a basic understanding of hardware.

I just want to say WOW! This place is absolutely amazing. I had an older laptop that was due for a few upgrades and these guys have went above and beyond my expectations with getting my issues resolved. These guys have helped my slow running machine feel like a brand new piece of equipment again. The staff was extremally helpful and really took the time to make sure that i understood was taking place and what was needed for my laptop. I have since brought all of my house hold computers to these guys. Bravo, You guys rock!:) PC girls truly are the Queens (and Kings) when it comes to computer repairs, installs ect.

Yesterday I wrote a very direct and pointed review of this business. All negative!
Today I must walk back that review some.
I received a call from the manager today regarding the review. Surprised me, never had this happen before.
Turns out Dawn-Marie (spelling) is very very emotional about their service, who’s like that anymore?
Took only a couple of minutes to realize she was serious. And, explained the situation from their understanding and attentively listened to my frustration.

Point is, sometimes things just don’t line up right. Good to have managers like this to remind us that there are still a few businesses who deserve good treatment, even if they mess up.

Overall, got my laptop back same day and works as it should.

I will refer this business and use it again if necessary.

I was unable to open attachments on my computer. Using their Instant House Call feature, an assessment was done and I was told a software upgrade and additional RAM was needed to support the new software. When I arrived, I was asked if I wanted to take the additional RAM (? !). A few hours after dropping it off, I was told their original assessment was incorrect and the computer needed to be replaced. They didn't require anything from me in writing and assured me my data would be transferred when I asked.

When I returned home that Friday evening, I found my data had not been transferred. I took my refurbished computer in on Monday morning and they transferred the data. I asked for my original computer back so I could view the files before I left to ensure it was my motherboard and all the data was there. They objected stating my name was on the motherboard until I reminded them that they had also assured me my data would be transferred and it wasn't.

I was told the screen on my original computer didn't work when I brought it in (which it did) and I could view my data on my motherboard via another computer they provided. My business files appeared to be intact. When I was finished, the original motherboard was handed to me. I suggested putting it back in the computer so it didn't get damaged which was done. Both computers where handed to me with a smile.

When I checked my files on the refurbished computer later, I found a whole folder of scanned documents was missing. I was told to contact them through the Instant House Call feature as the as the problem could likely be resolved this way (really?). The message was they would be with me later. After 10 minutes, I replied with my cell number to call me when they were free. An hour later, the line had disconnected. I was told the person had gone home for the day and no one else was available. When I connected the next morning and got no response, I called their office and got a response right away. I was told the files were never there. These were specific documents that I had scanned. I know they were there when I took my computer in.

PC Girls lied about the screen not working on my original computer when I brought it in, didn't apologize for their error when they failed to transfer my data to the refurbished computer and were disinterested in helping me view my files on their computer (which I found difficult to use). Not knowing how to properly store the motherboard was absurd.

I have been happy with PC Girls in the past having purchased my original computer from them. I would like to support local, but not at the expense of my data and certainly not when I am lied to. I will not be back.

Brought my laptop in for some gaming issues i was having, they took it for a couple days to diagnose and run tests. Now my laptop is running games with no freezing or crashing

The RGB didn't work when I got my pc back but that's a pretty minor fix at home. They fixed my pc quickly, they kept me updated as the fix progressed and I was extremely happy with the price, thanks!

I took a functional PC to PC Girls in to get a hard drive replaced and ended up getting my PC back with the new hard drive - but the PC no longer functional.

The technician called me at one point and told me the PC died while on the bench. No details. He wasn't sure if it was the motherboard or CPU.

Their solution was to buy a new PC with a slower processor, charge me full price for that, and put the hard drives in that new machine.

Having lost faith in their ability to repair as well as a lack of realistic decision-making skills, I opted to cut my losses and pay them for the data transfer and new SSD. Now, I have a non-functional PC but with a couple of new hard drives in it.

Sadly, although I have had positive experiences with PC Girls in the past, our relationship is now over. I guess it's one of those relationships that, once over, I see clearly that the other has different values and morals than me and I hope to be happier with someone new one day.

In this situation I can't definitively say that the breakup is completely the fault of the other, but after this experience, I feel confident that the responsibility for the breakup would have best been shared between us both. It was not. There should have been a discussion and closure. There was not.

I wish nothing but the best for PC Girls. I hope they learn and grow from this experience and their next relationship is built on mutual respect.

Since first posting this review, I emailed PC Girls through their website - telling them I was not happy with this situation. They replied, acknowledged that the situation was not satisfactory for either party and subsequently refunded my entire bill.

Although this was a good thing, I still have a non-functional computer, they ordered something for my PC that was not compatible, and at the time of paying for the "repair" they acknowledged that I was paying for services that were essentially useless to me.

This is something that could have been resolved the first time I showed up to pay for their service. There could have been a conversation about this and there never was, not even as the refund was issued.

The fact remains that they messed up in many ways and, because of their service tech and problematic customer relations, our relationship is over. We are never, ever, ever getting back together.

My brother took his PC there to get malware taken off, they charged him 100 dollars, did not remove the malware, then charged him another 100 dollars to fix their mistake. A rude and useless experience. I'd been debating taking my PC there but I will never give them my business after that stupidity. 200 dollars to wipe a hard drive.

PC GIRLS are professional and have very quick service. Their prices are more than fair and explain the issues in basic English not using techy words. I have another laptop that needs work and I will bring that in when I have money. I will definitely use this company again. Professional, friendly, follows covid regulation and are very knowledgeable.

What a terrific company. My technician Andrew was amazing, so professional, and so patient. I highly recommend PC Girls the service is outstanding.

A shockingly poor, rude and unprofessional experience with no results - had my problem fixed with-in hours of going to another computer tech. I've never left a poor review of a company before, but given how egregious the service was I guess there's a first time for everything.

Took my old PC tower here as it became very slow and wasn't working properly.

Was greeted by friendly staff who asked for information about my problem and explained to me their process in detail.

Overall it only took them 3 business days to diagnose and fix the problem with my PC, they explained what they found and how they corrected the issue. The final price was much less than I was expecting too!

Would recommend this place for your PC service needs!

For all you complainers please stop If I’d be you I’d think and realize this job isn’t easy
I volunteerd there for an awesome year hope I can come back at some point. But working on computers isn’t liking putting on a t-shirt there’s hazards like electricity and shocking yourself on 600 watts is not fun! Plus sharp objects to cut your self with. So if you’re gonna complain I’d stop PC Girls is an very busy place and it’s trying it’s best everyday and the crew is very busy.
Anyway Tell the crew I said hi!
