Radisson Kingswood Hotel & Suites, Fredericton, NB

The Radisson is an easily accessible hotel from the TC highway. I stay here every time I travel from Ontario to out East.

Very clean hotel and they’re great for accommodating pets. There’s plenty of places to eat nearby as well, only a 5-10 min drive.

This was a leisure trip and decided to b
ook Radisson. It’s located just outside of Fredericton and takes hardly 10 min to get into the city. A perfect spot in Hanwell. I had an amazing experience at Radisson. Check in and check out was smooth and quick without any holds. Staff were very courteous, polite and professional. They are doing an amazing job and Kudos to them as they are the ones that keep the business afloat and provide this experience to all the guest. Ample of parking spots outside the hotel. Hotel has a scenic view, I was fortunate to be there during the fall season to witness the colors outside my window. Rooms were well lit, had all the amenities such as a mini coffee machine, microwave and a mini fridge except water bottles for drinking water, we assumed the hotel expected us to drink from the tap and we were uncomfortable with that but apart from that no complaints or suggestions! Overall it was a pleasant stay and would definitely recommend and choose Radisson again!

Rooms were dirty. Found used shorts in the pull out couch and hair on the shower walls. Most towels had small stains on them. Oddly there was also flies in our rooms. We were getting married at the venue beside it and when our guests went to check in at 3pm for our 4pm ceremony they were told their rooms weren’t ready and we had to push our whole wedding back 20 minutes to allow for guests to get ready once their rooms were ready. This shortened our wedding so I would not recommend having wedding guests stay here. Nothing was done about the cleanliness when mentioned after the first of two nights. Emailed and left review regarding our poor experience and was only told essentially that they’d try better in the future and there was no offer of any monetary compensation or complimentary stays for the the future. We had many paying guests stay there and ourselves paid over $800 for two rooms for two nights so it was disappointing to just be told sorry when these major concerns were brought up.

This is our go to when we travel to our cottage in Ontario, both ways. New and clean, comfortable bed, staff are friendly to us and our dog. And close to the highway.

Great experience! We were checked in later in the evening by a gentleman named Russ who was incredibly welcoming and helpful start to finish. His service alone would make us want to come back.

Rooms were nice and clean, the view was great, the bed was wonderful - everything was right where it should be.

We will definitely be coming back.

There is no hair dryer in the room which is ridiculous, the lady in the front desk told me they only had few in the building because the customers stole the hair dryer. My 5 yrsd daughter had a tired day and couldn't dry her hair and rest. The customer from another room gave us one. There is no tub in the room just a shower with half door. And the morning breakfast you paid extra was no good, the pancake was the worst ever tasted in any hotel. And the worst thing is they sell bottle water for 3 dollars each. I understand things in the hotel are expensive, but there are hotels give free bottle water. Most staff are nice and friendly, the room is clean and brighter, the location is good just behind a kids entertainment center. But won't come again.

Great stay very nice staff and room. Very pet friendly. Will be stopping here on future trips for sure.

My boyfriend and I stayed in January, with our pup for our anniversary and I would say that this is one of the best hotel stays I had ever had. This was my first time staying at a Radisson hotel. Our room was beautiful and clean, and location was quiet and relaxing.

The staff were so friendly and absolutely adored our dog. Each day when we went by, the hotel front staff would ask us if we needed anything and if we were enjoying our stay. They deserve an award, they were truly amazing.

There was a lovely restaurant near by, within walking distance. Even during a bad freezing rain storm, the walkways were clear and well taken care of for guests safety.

11/10, would stay again.

Nice place to go but will be our last because of this “DMF - Marketing Fee 3.5%” added to our bill, this shouldn’t be a fee passed on to the customer (we should be the ones charging you this because we choose your establishment because we could’ve gone somewhere else). The customer shouldn’t be the ones paying for your marketing. So this means that people that give you great reviews should charge YOU the DMF’s marketing fee? All the other places we went never charged us this fee.

It was a very good experience to stay at this hotel.
The room was very nice and we were on the second floor.has a lovely view of the lake outside in the morning.

Was a great experience for me. A last minute booking and stay over on may way home to Ontario from Cape Breton Island. Even though last minute reservation they had my room ready for me as soon as I got there within half hour making it. Will stay again next time through.

I am not a person who writes many reviews but I feel very strongly on this one. After covid i completely understand with short staffing and other things.so on a positive note My wife and i checked into this motel on Sept 10 for the night as soon as we walked in we were greeted very nicely there was a couple ahead of us and we waited the girl behind the desk was very pleasant and cheerful told us our room wasnt ready yet but we were in early all good. Had been there for a wedding so we had the wedding outside it was beautiful, went to the reception again food was great people were great thanks to all for this. Now everything went downhill. There was supposed to be a bar set up outside for the reception after about 9pm approx they set it up only had it open for what i thought was 10 min but it may have been longer the workers said that someone stole a bottle from them i cannot see that but we started to go out to the lobby for our drinks. Most of the night one person gave drinks but we were there for the wedding party and waited for the bartender to serve us no biggie. THIS is the worst i have ever saw a lady (who i think was the manager) came out to the dj who was playing great music and there problay was 15 to 20 people up dancing and told the dj to pack up and close the dance down this was around 10.30 pm. Now the wedding party got up to see what was going on and the lady said that a minor was served liquor and then she said she was getting noise complaints and was very very rude to the wedding party and would not talk to them again. My understanding is that this motel is a wedding motel where they specialize in this. Well it was uncalled I even asked the dj how many years has he been a dj he said 35 years and i asked if this ever happened before he said no. By this time the Bride is crying her eyes out what a devastating night for her I would not recommend this motel for any more weddings if you want to be disappointed, This is a very costly weekend to put this wedding on and i just cannot believe that they cannot give a beautiful wedding for anyone.

Recently planned a wedding for a couple there and it was terrible from the start. The girl who was supposed to help us set up the night before was two and half hours late making other workers there do her job of getting the tables and chair out. When she did finally show up she didn’t even introduce herself or say sorry for being late she just came in the room and then left making the bride have to track her down to say that we still need more tables. We have a huge list of stuff that has happen between start to finish but the biggest was that she shut the party down early for no reason. When asked for a reason she just said she wasn’t at liberty to discuss it. Very very disappointed with our stay and wedding. Don’t stay here or plan any events here, you will be very unhappy with the disorganization from the staff and they won’t work with you to fix any of the problems they caused

I was a wedding guest this summer (2022) and days later im still disgusted in the bar staff and bar manager (aka the ONLY people working the night of the wedding). These employees completely under delievered from start to finish. From being 2.5hrs late for set up the night before to making the BRIDE cry multple times on her wedding day. To list just a few problems:
1. The Bar manager’s boyfriend tried to steal food from the venue and was confrontational with wedding guests;
2. The bar manager accused our group of stealing a bottle of rum. So they pulled the private bar which was 5hrs late getting set up, which made all of the guests go to the lobby bar that had ONE person working.for an entire event.the bartender also served to a minor (I'm talking like 8 years old).
3. Bar staff were complaining that nobody was tipping them (Took over 30 mins to get a normal drink, not a cocktail.) ;
4. Staff didn’t want to keep working, shut the party down at 11: 30 for no reason. When the bride and groom asked why, the first response was "its 1130 were shutting this down". Even though the room was paid for until 1am. After that their reasons for shutting it down kept changing.
5. Bar manager called the police, then tried to KICK THEM OUT!
6. They had children set up the tables and silverware the night before (like what? Who's kids were they?)
7. THEY RUINIED MY BESTFRIENDS WEDDING.this was not some random party or event this was a wedding, which was expensive, is every girls dream and it's a day they will remember forever. Those selfish employees were lazy, rude and very unprofessional. And believe me I could list 100000 other mistakes they made. I don't often write negative reviews but I'm so disgusted in that place I don't even like to drive by. I'm not sure if they could ever make it up to the bride and groom.
All of that to say, the employees were very trashy and I DO NOT recommend having a wedding there, staying the night there or even buying a drink there. I'll never go back.

We were there for a wedding which the hotel was taking care of all the details including the wedding ceremony, dinner, and dance. The employee that was in charged of the event was not prepared at all. Of the night before rehearsal, nothing was ready as a small reception was arranged. The employee had to get someone she knew and two children to help her set-up. The man that helped came back when the food was out to help himself and hung around the bar that evening. The evening of the wedding after the dance started a small reception of food was set up again. The small guy showed up from sitting at the bar all day to help himself. Then shortly after 10 p.m, the employee came into the wedding hall and stopped the D. J.and closed the dance citing that the noise from the music was causing the people in the rooms above to complain. This was a small wedding of approximately 50 people. Most of us booked a room for the night which was a block of rooms reserved for the wedding. Why wasn’t our room above the dance hall to cancel the non-guest staying directly above a wedding dance? The D. J. Was supposed to play until 1: 00 a.m. The bride was in tears. Everybody was just starting to enjoy the evening and it was cut short from this employee who I guessed was the on-duty manager that evening. Shame on her for her poor judgement and little empathy for the bride and groom. They will never get this time back. The dance is the opportunity to relax and meet all your guest after a stressful day. And for the guy at the bar, get rid of him he is bad for business. Never expected this to happen at a hotel wedding. Very unprofessional.

Attended a wedding summer 2022.

- Staff we’re absolute trash (Bar manager, barmaid)
- Bar manager’s boyfriend tried to steal food from the venue and was confrontational with wedding guests;

- Staff didn’t want to keep working, shut the party down at 11: 30 for no reason.

In other words,

Spot was very trashy and I DO NOT recommend having a wedding there or even just staying the night.

Aesthetically nice, great exterior views. Clean facility. Food is really disappointing and they often seem understaffed.

Everything was nearly perfect aside from the shower curtain not being quite clean or maybe just a bit old. Service was excellent. The room was otherwise fresh and clean. The air smelled clean and filtered which I appreciated (no awful scent spray). The blackout curtains improved the sleep. Beds were comfortable. 4.5 stars (and I’m picky). Thanks for the stay!

I was very impressed with this hotel.the service, the cleanliness and the overall experience was great. I strongly recommend it and we will certainly go back to this hotel in the future when we are in the Fredericton area. Great hotel for a great price.

This is my favourite hotel in Atlantic Canada, property is beautiful, hotel is modern and clean.
The staff are always incredibly friendly, they make my business stay a real treat.

Really noce and clean and polite and all. Only thing this humming kind of fan motor that has been running all night long kept me from sleeping.it is more silent in the hallway in fact

There was no hot water for showers in the morning, Luke warm at the best. The pillows weren't the best. There hotel has a nice look, and the view from our room was very nice.

Stayed one night very loud rooms with nothing but a door to keep the noise out there was a flashing light in our room when we called the from desk it took 7 calls until they picked up and another 15 minutes for a noise complaint at 1: 00am our bathroom had mold and the shower was falling apart I would find another hotel

Modern and quite a nice stay. We were there for 2 nights.
Fire pits in the back overlooking a pond and some of the golf course behind. Nice for late evenings. Please be considerate for other guests that have turned in early regarding noise if you do.

We did notice that there really isn't much for restaurants unless you drive to them. About 5-10 minutes minimum for something decent.

Breakfast was mediocre, but we found the same issue with the dozen other hotels on this roadtrip (packed and ready, individually wrapped breakfast sammys, juice boxes, etc.)

Pros: Spacious room with modern design, beautiful view and lots of parking.
Cons: Breakfast was mediocre and guests weren’t maintaining social distancing.

We recently had a two-day stay at this hotel. The room overlooked a pond and the golf course - very pretty and peaceful. The bed and pillows were excellent. Toiletries were of a good quality. Big flat screen TV. Breakfast was bread for toasting, egg/ham/cheese muffins to be microwaved, yogurt, fruit and pastries. Coffee, tea (not Tetley!) and juices. Good prices for happy hour in the lounge! We had a meal catered for as a group event and it was very good. The room and the rest of the hotel appeared to be very clean.

We enjoyed our stay here. Rooms are clean and reasonably spacious. Staff is efficient and friendly. The breakfast included was okay but not at all special. We didn’t care for the pillows. Overall a good stay. We will be back.

As a travel agent I work with high end hotels daily. My experience here was everything I would have expected when I send clients to a Fairmont or Waldorf Astoria. The staff is fantastic every time I stay.

Really nice room but not 100% clean. We found sticky spots on our tables, small trash, no backup toilet paper, no glass in the bathroom. Feel like they pickup the essential and thats it

Seulement pour aviser que le service en ligne, booking et réservation sur appel avec le service à la clientèle n'a pas fonctionner. Même après 4 essais, des problèmes ont apparus à la réception de l'hôtel. Le déjeuner laissait à désirer. Pour rapport qualité/prix, je m'attendais à mieux.

Très confortable. Pas de service en français. (Même pas "au revoir"). Resto de l'hôtel (et du club de golf voisin, le lundi) fermé par manque de personnel.

Very nice property; however, room cleanliness was disappointing. There was kibble (pet food that resembled rabbit droppings) on the floor, also on the floor was a "Door-stop" from the bathroom door. The grouting in the shower is not being cleaned properly, especially in the corners. The back splash below the mirror in the bathroom was quite dirty (dark splash marks all along the wall).

Clean rooms, great views of golf course from rear of hotel, and it is situated in a convenient location just off the highway. They are also pet friendly, so that's a huge bonus.

It's a nice hotel. Very clean, excellent service.here's a family gaming center fairly close to the hotel where a lot of the locals hang out. All the rooms and hallways echo all the noise, no carpeting. There's no noise absorption so you can hear the newly married couple down the hall.

We always stop here on our way to PEI. Radisson keeps highest standards offering you comfortable beds, nice view on the pond and golf courses, good breakfast (however not included in your stay), and excellent service.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights as part of our two-week-long road trip across the Maritime provinces from Toronto. Our stay was fabulous and staff were professional. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable and the bathroom was well supplied.

Very modern and well kept hotel with friendly staff and a great restaurant for breakfast (highly recommend the eggs benny) or dinner (the burger is really, really good).

I was very surprised at how new and modern it looked for the price. The staff was excellent. So nice and helpful. The room was a 2 queen bed room. It was very clean and made up nicely. The bed was very comfortable. The room climate control was fantastic. The bathroom was clean, had lots of towels and soap, shampoo, etc. Overall I really enjoyed my stay. If I was driving through again I would come back here again.

From booking the reservation I was about to cancel due to the person helping me book and his service but once I arrived my experience changed 100%. It turned into one of the greatest hotel experiences I have ever had. The front desk staff Chelsea was so accommodating and kind. Incredibly patient with my nana’s over sharing. She also checked in multiple times to make sure everything was okay and had conversations with us. We were just stopping for the night and traded the entertainment package for breakfast for us. The next morning, when going down for breakfast Mitchell was so awesome. He joked around with us and made a grey morning so bright. He also listened to my nanas stories and joked around with us. Service was prompt and attentive. Our food was excellent. We had even ordered room service for dinner and the server who brought up our meal was incredibly kind and helpful. We’re so grateful with the service provided to us and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay anywhere in New Brunswick. Thank you again everyone!

This hotel delivers exceptional service with a low and affordable price range. If you’re looking for a place to relax then the radisson at kings wood golf course and enjoy a round of golf while you’re visiting!

Front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful on our arrival. After a long day of driving, we decided to dine in the restaurant onsite. Staff were very friendly and made some.great meal suggestions for us both. Room was very spacious and modern. Will stay again when passing through this area.
