Owner drives the black and gold lambo around Moncton and lives in a million $$$ home in dieppe but can’t fix any of his building he’s an absolute joke so next time you get a rent increase and nothing being fixed he’s prob using it to buy another super car in Moncton

Absolutely terrible service. We lived there for 2.5 years. It would take 20 phone calls minimum to get an issue fixed. They are very unprofessional. Have taken rent out of my account since moving out and refuse to give us our damage deposit back after telling us we were getting it back. Wouldn’t recommend

If you rent from this company make sure you ask for a receipt for your damage deposit. Make sure you do a walk through before signing your lease agreement. Unless your repairs are an emergency they will never fix it. The fire alarms go off all the time to the point the fire department gets annoyed because no one shows up to shut off the alarm and fire department has to stay there. Mice infestation. I have never seen so much mouse droppings in my life. Full of mold. It will cost you 6.75 to dry a load of laundry. My fridge wad broken and filthy. Shelf and crispers were all broken. This guys is scum. Stay away from Rent Moncton. We were in 31 Kingsmere court.

Rent Moncton is the worst. They have a building with 40 apartments, more than 100 renters but they only have two dryers and washers and it been over three months washers aren’t working and they don’t do anything, they only have one elevator and it been almost a month it’s not working and nothing is being done. They had to place screen on my windows but was never done everytime I call they keep saying they will follow up but nothing will be done and summer is over I started asking since the beginning of summer. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Apartment are good. But Response is not good when ever tenants have any issues. They should have to do something.

17 kingsmere is a cockroach and mouse infested slum, the laundry room is in constant disarray, the appliances are over 35 years old, they're made by a company that doesn't exist anymore. I have to agree with all the other negative reviews, stay far, far away from anything rent Moncton touches

I have been renting at 20 Bliss street since 2019. It has been nothing but a plethora of issues with Rent Moncton since day one. The building is not adequately maintained and is left in disrepair. Things break, and they are repaired to the cheapest, poorest quality possible, to obviously cut costs. Because of this, the building is full of mold due to various leaks that have not been adequately repaired and repainted over. Just this summer, the apartment above me flooded their apartment twice, causing severe leaking in my apartment. Nothing was done to repair the water absorption and the subsequent resulting mold.

There is one washer and one dryer for 18 units, which frequently break down and leave us without laundry facilities for days, despite having a laundry room upstairs that they refuse to equip with a washing machine and a dryer. What has prompted me to write this review today is an issue beyond my patience and comprehension. The building is heated with a propane fueled hot water boiler. The heat in the building is provided by hot water. In the last 2 years, the hot water boiler has constant issues, leaving us without hot water and heat for 24 - 48 hours each time. This happened 3 times last winter, and thus far this year, it has already happened twice this winter, once last week and again today. Today is the straw that broke the camels back. It is currently -40 today. I woke up freezing, and without heat and hot water. Numerous people have pipes bursting in their apartments.

There has also been an ongoing mouse problem which doesn't appear to get properly addressed. I have black mold on my bathroom ceiling that I've asked to have fixed for the last 2 years. It only gets worst and nothing is done about it.

To add insult to injury, they are attempting to up the rent by 150$, yet there is nothing justifying this increase other than their pathetic excuse of soaring 'average' apartment costs in this city. The guy who owns rent Moncton drives a 300k car and can't properly maintain his buildings. Shame on you.

EDIT: it is Monday July 17th 2023 13: 30. We have been without hot water since 16: 00 on Saturday the 15th. This is the 4th time this year.

Une compagnie et un staff malappris, irrespectueux, insouciants et sans gene. Je suis presentement en cours d'une poursuite judiciaire pour une cliente. Je compte bien les mal mener en justice en tant qu'avocat et cette compagnie pourrait bien remercier leur staff actuel pour cette defaite. Avant d'employer des gens faite un background check cela vous simplifierait autant de vacarmes. Bonne chance!

I have never actually in my entire life taken the time to write a negative review. So you must know it takes months of atrociousness to get me to this point. If I could I would give them a -10. Stay away from them at all costs. I am going to have to take matters in my own hands after politely really trying to fix issues politely with them REPEATEDLY.enough is enough.

I use to Rent from them b4 and they are rip off people so much. I have to clean my own apartment the first day I move in. I was so dirty and nasty. They said I owe them money from my last months rent. When they already take it from my bank account. I don’t recommend it. Stays always from Rent Moncton.

I wish I could rate 0 stars. Horrible company all around, brand new landlords just took over and they are even worse then the previous ones, these apartments are littered with cockroaches and leaking issues, Black mold, you name it, save yourself the headache and rent anywheres that isn’t ran by these guys, trust me, you will thank me later

Terrible terrible terrible. I applied for an apartment and heard nothing back, when I reached out to them they said they “called me already and I didn’t answer so I lost the apartment”. I never got a call and gave proof of it. Don’t bother with this company.

Useless staff, waited through the WHOLE WINTER to get heating fixed despite frequent reminders that its not working, and even now after fixing it, they somehow ended up causing one of my outlets to stop working? And again, months later, still no fix, or even response? How do you even do that? I cant stress enough how poor these people treat the tenants, go anywhere else, even if the price is steeper, its worht it to not deal with this company

I used to live there. They told me I owed money from a previous month on top of the current rent when I did not, and when I told them I wanted invoices, they wouldn't answer me. I refused to pay an amount I didn't owe so I moved out. While living there I found cockroaches in the building. Every time it would rain the ceiling would leak so much that id have to put a bucket. There is mold in the closets and within the entire apartment. I asked them to come take a look st my toilet once, and they asked me if I tried to plunge it. Not friendly, nor helpful. Would highly recommend renting from a different company.

SCUMLORD! Save yourself the trouble: this company will avoid responding to issues AT ALL COST. Found live cockroaches and waking up to bed bug bites. Apparently, these buildings have been infested for months and the landlord+staff were well aware before us/other tenants moving-in. They just don't care enough to deal with it. Funny enough, all the positive reviews are staff written (Sabryna, Mathieu L, Zach H.)

Huge disappointment!
Waiting to use my washer, the taps need to be replaced. The superintendent/ landlord waiting to be Here for 4pm yesterday! It's the following day, @ 230pm!
No response to why, through text or phone!
What the hell?

Very friendly and accommodated me quickly when I needed something. Great company to Rent for. Very reasonable prices for deposits and rents. Would recommend.

Doesn't return calls, doesn't answer to text message, doesn't seem to care at all, charged me twice for a month, said they didn't understand what happened, would take care of it, no news of my money after 2 weeks. Strongly not recommend, worst landlord company i've had to deal with so far and first time I feel the need to write it online to try to help the other that might think about getting involved with them.

Terrible people, awful customer service. Landlord didn't even show up to show me the place when I had an appointment. Time wasters and slum lords.

1. Withdrew month's rent even after my daughter had vacated the apartment with notice given in due time.

2. Not answering calls nor replying to SMS and e-mails.

3. Texted with a different number pretending I was looking for an appartment, he replied within minutes.

4. After I explained why I was contacting them, he exchanged a few texts that day and then told my daughter he would e-transfer the money.

5. This never happened.days turned into weeks.weeks turned into months.

6. To me, it's called stealing.amd who steals? Thieves!

They are horrible. I would never recommend renting from them. Someone trespassing on our property yelling at individuals who live in my building and when I reached out to rent Moncton looking for assistance they told me I have permission to go remove the individual from the property. Rent Moncton tried to hire my as their personal bouncer as they did not want to deal with the individual on their property who was disturbing their tenants.

I was told in July 2019 that I was going to receive my down payment in about 2 weeks its now about to be April 2021 I still haven't seen that money and they are now ignoring my txts and calls.

I moved out it was a very horrible company to rent from. Rat and mould infested.they rent to anyone for a buck and do not repair things in a timely manner. Takes months to get things fixed. That is if it gets fixed at all.
They have 1 young guy that shows all the rental properties he collects rent and ya need to call him to get things somewhat dealt with. I would never recommend this company oh and they dont give you your damage deposit back and the dont register it with the rentals men. I left the place in cleaned and repaired conditions aswell

Terrible company. We went to get our damage deposit back and they told us we basically trashed the place where we had the spot looking better than when we moved in with photos to prove. They yelled at us and laughed at us when we said we'd go through the Rentalsman. Then during talks the fridge from our room I believe was swapped with another since we cleaned ours and suddenly it was dirty. The kicker is we had our receipts on the side of the fridge and they were now gone so Rentalsman refused to help even though we had in this Management's writing that we paid a deposit including the amount in other writing. For repairs get ready to be ignored, we were promised the screen door for the patio when we moved in as well as blinds (since the ones in were damaged) and they never put them in. They however did come in a year after we were living there to put some into vacant rooms! Live in attended was nice but two faced, talked kindly but then tossed you under the bus to be yelled at by the management. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST!

I usually don't post reviews on here, but I would not recommend renting from Rent Moncton. I have had issues from my stay which were never resolved, and when I moved I never got my deposit back. Nothing broken which I already hadn't told them about (which they never helped fixed during my stay - minor issues), and the place was completely cleaned. I had sent messages regarding this issue, along with phone calls, but they would not answer a single one. I am disappointed in this, as their communication from my experience was horrible.

Terrible management! Disrespectful and unable to solve problems. More transparency and more service is needed. Took my rent and deposit and never gave it back. Don't rent from them. If you do make sure you get everything in writing and once you leave go straight to the NB Tennant board to get anything resolved. They need to be exposed for the things they are doing to people to get anything better. Stay away

They overcharge you, and have no support inside the actual apartment bloc, people steal your clothes when you do laundry, the floors are made of paper so every time the upstairs neighbor makes one step your whole apartment shakes and tremble.the shower has been leaking for two months now, the guy came to see and said it would need repair, but never came back.
