Residence Inn by Marriott Moncton

Nice hotel but many hidden fees. Booked through Expedia and still had to pay over $100 in extra fees once I got to the hotel. Room was clean though and it is well located.

We stayed here for two nights a few weeks ago. This is our favourite hotel in Moncton. The staff are pleasant and helpful. Large, comfortable rooms that include a nicely equipped kitchen. Great location and ammenities. Breakfast included was above average. We'll definitely be back.

Staff at this hotel the best! Most were nice and helpful but one person named Wayne went out of his way to go above and beyond what I would have expected.
EV chargers for Tesla were an important factor deciding this Hotel. Had two and were working well. Hotel puts cones up to prevent Icing. We stayed for 4 nights and the room was nice quiet and clean.
Breakfast was the standard offering but seemed slightly better. Location is great.

Fantastic hotel. We've been going to Rodd's near by for years but decided to try something different and we are glad we did. The quality difference for a slight bump in price is worth it. Great clean rooms, fairly modern, nice pool easy parking, close proximity to restaurants and night lift etc. Morning breakfast is also a step above what most hotels offer. We will be back!

This room was amazing! Kitchenette, couch, king sized comfy bed, Room with a view! The staff were friendly and informative. The pool and hot tub were great and the breakfast was wonderful!

Great hotel on main street, able to easily walk to restaurants and bars. Hotel breakfast attendants extremely nice. Parking is easy, secure and we would definitely choose this hotel again.

Lovely room. Full kitchenette with full size fridge freezer was a nice suprise. Breakfast was hot and tasty

Was great experience, especially during covid. Was there for a week and felt like we had our own place.

Our one night stay at the Residence Inn in Moncton was lovely. The staff members were super accommodating, understanding, and friendly. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. The gym and pool were very nice! Breakfast in the morning was a nice touch, with a great spread. Located downtown it made it easy to get around Moncton.

Very friendly staff. The breakfast buffet you serve it to yourself. Clean and the beds very comfortable and I think they are pet friendly.

The room was very spacious with a well equipped kitchen. Our room overlooked Main St. Because of this it was pretty noisy with traffic. The breakfast which was included with our room was good

Sorry but I waisted my time here and money.
They need more staff (Staff is excellent).
On arrival I find out I need sign to swimming pool and unfortunately all booked for today. You can book only once a day and they don’t care even not one in that time there. You will need book for a gymSorry but I visit Moncton for work purpose and there I have schedule in hotel I would like spend time how I wanted. I don’t know exactly when I will have time go to gym.
Swimming pool lol I choose this hotel because they have hot tub. But hot tub not working! Pool Schedule cleaning not exist when I asked! Front desk don’t know what hotel serving for breakfast.
Hotel pet friendly but $75 per stay! Delta charge only $45.
I stayed 2 nights and had phone call after 21: 30? Twice!

Nice front desk staff. The room was excellent all round. We stayed for two nights and the only thing that I could see as a downfall at this place is there was a lot of siren noise on the first night stay. One end of the hotel in is next to RCMP detachment.
I can see this facility would be a good fit for a business person that requires an extended stay.

I stayed here for work in Jan 2021 in a 1 bedroom king suite. Even though this hotel opened in late 2000s, it is in very good shape, almost feel brand new. The room was excellent and the bed was VERY comfortable. Furniture also feels very new. One of the best Residence Inn I've stayed in Canada and USA. Comes with full kitchen and utensils if you ever want to cook instead of eating out. There is underground parking, which is great in the winter time to avoid cleaning off the snow and warming up the car. Note the entrance from main street is not an exit, so you have to exit through Assomption Blvd and you can only turn right when exiting onto Assomption Blvd, so plan according if you're not familiar with the roads in downtown Moncton. Parking is $16/night, but that is the norm for downtown Moncton. Expect it for all hotels in the area. Overall, I had an enjoyable stay and would definitely stay again.

We had a great 2 night stay. The staff was friendly, helpful, understanding and pleasant. Room was clean, comfortable bed, nice washroom/ shower area. The breakfast blew me away - the people preparing the plates were very friendly. A lot of options, food was fresh and hot. There was a little incident where I cut myself on a sharp edge on a door, but the GM took ownership, cared that I hurt myself and "made it right", she was very professional and had the sharp edge fixed immediately. I'll definitely be staying there again.

I go for my oncology appointments in Moncton and have stayed there alone 4 four times for over a week. I felt very comfortable and safe staying there. It feels like home for me.

I’m sorry but what hotel doesn’t have housecoats? I’ve never stayed at a hotel that doesn’t provide housecoats… the washers where you can wash your clothes were musty and disgusting.not to mention having to wear a towel to go down because there are no housecoats…. They don’t “provide” those things. Besides all that I think it’s an all right place to stay, this wasn’t my first time but certainly will be my last as every other hotel provides housecoats:)

The 2br suite was decent; lots of room for the kids to roam around and the beds were comfy. The kitchen area in the suite was not the cleanest, and there were some weird looking stains on the couch enough that we ended up sitting on a towel. The pool area was small but clean. The staff working the breakfast were wonderful and very nice. Location is great as well.

All of the staff were very polite and helpful, my conversations with employees I never felt like a guest they made me feel like more than a guest and more like a friend.
Lobby hallways and our room were exceptionally clean,
My experience here was absolutely fenominal,
Anything needed was taken care of instantly!
Highly recommended this is a place I would not hesitate to come back to!

We have stay here several times over the years. We have always had a great experience during our stays. We have been here twice this summer all thought things are a little different with covid in play the staff have done a great job to make you safe. Highly recommend staying here on any trip.

The gentleman at the front desk can smile more. And how come there's no water for valued guests? Also, terrible wrap breakfast. Just terrible.

Excellent management since reopening. Breakfast was prepackaged and ready to grab in the lobby in the morning. Did not have to put order with front desk and wait to get a cold sandwich or feel uncomfortable checking one by one what is available and what is not.
There was a station with cleaning material available in the hallway on my floor for anyone who needed to clean something in the room during the stay. Enough towels available since room service was not possible. This saved another trip to the front desk. Coffee and tea station in the lobby and Very well maintained!
Keep up the good work! Your efforts do not go unnoticed!

Amazing place to stay, room was amazingly nice.almost like a bachelor apartment.we loved our stay here!

The hotel was very clean, the service was great and the management staff went above and beyond to help me with an unexpected payment issue.

These rooms are awesome and they come with everything, plates, cutlery, pots and pans for cooking etc

Our room was great, as was the staff and the breakfast. The only reason this is not a 5 star review is because the parking is an absolute nightmare!

Centrally located. Rooms are really comfortable and lovely. Hotel is near shopping and restaurants. Also located (almost) equal distance to Halifax and PEI. I can't wait to go back to this hotel.

Marvellous ho.e away from home. The 2 bedroom suite is very well appointed and comes with full size stove, fridge and dishwasher. Great place to stay!

Great location. Great reception staff. Simple breakfast (Delicius enough for me). But still has some rooms for improvement.
1. Laundry service broke the button on my shirt in half. It's almost cut my finger when I try to put it out of the closet.
2. My friend order merchandises to the hotel but his packages were sent to my room instead.
3. The maid helps clean up the dishes using dishwasher so some stain still left in the pot. I used it to boil fish. There's no scourer for dish cleaning so I can't clean it by myself too.
4. The maid give me 2 of face soap without body soap and removed the one in my toilet. So I used face soap for the body too.

But it's something I can live with. So next time I still consider stay here again. Thise things above are just fyi if anyone will take these issues seriously.

Great, family friendly hotel in the heart of downtown moncton. We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very comfortable and great for the kids. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve ever seen (and I’ve been to a lot of hotels!), and the fitness facility/pool were great. Will definitely be staying here again.

J’ai adoré mon séjour au Résidence Inn! Belle chambre spacieuse avec beaucoup de commodité. Décor actuel de bon goût. Les déjeuners gratuits sont super bien! Tout le personnel (femme de chambre, accueil, aux déjeuners) sont très courtois serviables et avenants. Une belle piscine intérieure, propre et bien entretenue. La localisation est proche de tout! Les chambres sont bien insonorisées aussi. Merci pour tout!

This place was a wow. Super convenient location! Clean and has everything you can think you will need. Even put out tv snacks after dinner. Would definitely go there again.

Large, clean, comfortable room. Typical Residence Inn room. Fast internet, Good lighting. Staff very friendly and helpful. Wired and wireless internet. 5-minute walk from the Tidal Bore. Parking for a fee. Typical complimentary breakfast perhaps a bit better than most.

We booked a 2-bedroom suite for 2 nights with our three young children. Check-in was quick and service was warm and friendly. Our room was at the end of the hall adjacent to a stairwell, probably a good thing with three kids. The room was nicely appointed with a king bed, double bed, loving room with pull out couch and fully stocked kitchen and dining table. Kitchen has a full size fridge, oven and stovetop, microwave and dishwasher. It was easy and convenient to prepare meals here and save some money. Beds were comfortable and clean, as was the room overall. We had three flat screen tv's, all with Netflix and YouTube which was great for the kids. My only complaint and this is being picky would be to have a Keurig in the room rather than a traditional coffee maker but there are to go coffee available in the lobby in the mornings. The free breakfast was awesome, great spread, clean dining room and the food was fresh. We enjoyed the pool a few times, kids loved it and it was never busy. Hotel is centrally located and easy to walk to most restaurants and shops in the downtown core. We'll definitely stay here again during out next visit to Moncton. Beware, parking is $16 a night but there is plenty of free parking on the street after 6pm and on weekends.

Well. Walk in the door and was greeted by a very nice young man. Nice young man informs me that I was upgraded to a nicer room FREE OF CHARGE! Room was spotless, HUGE, crazy nice, kitchen, living room, door to CLOSE to the bedroom with a KING size bed. Downtown next to everything you could hope to be near of, all I can say is "blown away", staff were stupid nice. Absolutely zero to complain about A to Z. Boom done with this review, best hotel I've stayed in and I've stayed in probably 500. Definitely will stay there again.

Renovated rooms are great. Clean and modern look but still practical and most of all family friendly. Staff are great to deal with and responsive.

We stayed in a studio king suite which was lovely. The location is great, downtown and in the same area as a lot of great restaurants. Room service was great. I would recommend to anyone stopping in Moncton.

Hotel needs a deep cleaning and repair of some wear and tear on the walls. Appliances were dented and looked like they needed an update.

Loved our stay at this hotel. I highly recommend it. Our room was beautiful and spotless, the bed was comfy and the shower was great! The complimentary breakfast was amazing, so much selection and everything was tasty! Should we ever come back to Moncton there is no doubt we'll book here again.
